a Movie Night
Arrival at Kenanâs House
The living room was lively as everyone settled in. After a long week of practices and football training, this gathering was meant to be a relaxing evening. However, BarıÅâs mood was notably off, the weight of the dayâs loss hanging over him. Y/N and Rosé, visibly drained from their rigorous schedule, were less enthusiastic about the evening plans.
Kenan greeted them warmly as they entered, handing them glasses of water. âRough day?â he asked, his gaze lingering on Y/N.
âYou could say that,â Y/N replied, sinking into the couch.
Duru and Arda, seated comfortably on one end of the couch, were chatting quietly, their hands occasionally brushing as they laughed over something Arda said. BarıÅ, meanwhile, sat in the armchair, his arms crossed and his expression tight.
Rosé flopped beside Y/N, groaning. âI swear, these practices are going to be the death of me. Canât we just skip the movie and sleep instead?â
Duru smirked. âNope. Weâve picked the movie, and youâre going to love it.â
âWhatâs the movie?â Y/N asked, already dreading the answer.
âA sad one,â BarıŠsaid, his smirk widening.
Y/N groaned. âWhy does it have to be sad? Canât we pick something light and funny for once?â
âWhereâs the fun in that?â Duru teased, grinning.
Kenan chuckled, sitting on the arm of the couch near Y/N. âYou might as well give in. Theyâre not going to change their minds.â
Y/N rolled her eyes. âFine. But if I cry, itâs on all of you.â

Watching the Movie
As the movie played, the room grew quieter. The storyâs emotional depth pulled everyone in, and the occasional sniffle could be heard, though no one admitted to it.
Y/N tried to focus on anything but the lump forming in her throat as the plot reached its heartbreaking climax. She bit her lip, willing herself not to cry, but when the final emotional blow hit, a tear slipped down her cheek.
Kenan noticed immediately. Without a word, he leaned closer, his voice soft. âYou okay?â
She nodded quickly, wiping at her face. âIâm fine. Itâs just⦠the movie.â
Kenan offered a small, understanding smile. âYeah, itâs a heavy one. But hey, itâs okay to feel it.â
Y/N glanced at him, finding comfort in his calm presence. âThanks.â
Meanwhile, BarıŠleaned back in his chair, his voice cutting through the silence. âWell, that was⦠intense. Definitely the saddest thing Iâve seen in a while.â
Rosé sniffed dramatically, tossing a cushion at him. âSays the guy whoâs pretending he didnât get emotional.â
BarıŠsmirked. âI didnât cry, though, unlike some people.â
Y/N shot him a glare. âIâm right here, you know.â
Kenanâs protective instincts kicked in. âBarıÅ, ease up. Itâs just a movie.â
BarıŠraised his hands in mock surrender. âAlright, alright. No need to get defensive, Kenan.â

Post-Movie Comfort
As the credits rolled, the room began to stir. Duru and Arda headed to the kitchen, chatting about the movieâs emotional impact. Rosé lingered, scrolling through her phone.
Y/N remained on the couch, her exhaustion catching up to her. Kenan stayed by her side, his presence steady and reassuring.
âYou sure youâre okay?â he asked again, his tone gentle.
She nodded, her voice quieter now. âYeah. Itâs just been a long day. And that movie didnât help.â
Kenan chuckled softly. âWell, if it makes you feel better, you handled it better than I thought you would.â
She gave him a small smile. âThanks, I think.â
The two sat in comfortable silence for a while, the sounds of laughter and chatter from the kitchen filling the background.
Rosé eventually looked over from her spot. âHey, Y/N, you good?â
Y/N gave her a reassuring nod. âYeah, Iâm fine. Just tired.â
âSame,â Rosé said with a sigh. âBut letâs never let them pick the movie again.â
Kenan chuckled, his gaze lingering on Y/N. âDeal.â
