The Morning After
Y/Nâs alarm blared at 6:30 a.m., jolting her awake from a deep, much-needed sleep. She groaned, fumbling to silence it. Her body ached, a familiar soreness from the previous dayâs practice.
She shuffled into the kitchen, still half-asleep, and spotted Rosé curled up on the couch, snoring softly. Y/N crossed her arms and leaned against the doorframe.
âRosé,â she called softly. No response.
âRosé!â she said louder, clapping her hands for emphasis.
Rosé groaned, burying her face into the pillow. âFive more minutesâ¦â
âYou said that yesterday, and we were late,â Y/N said, already debating grabbing a glass of water to wake her properly.
Just then, Duru strolled into the kitchen, fully dressed and fresh-faced. She grabbed an apple from the counter and leaned casually against it.
âGood morning, sunshine,â Duru said with a smirk, clearly enjoying Y/Nâs struggle.
Y/N raised an eyebrow. âWhy do you look so⦠awake?â
âBecause I donât have practice today,â Duru replied with a grin. âUnlike you two.â
Y/N rolled her eyes. âThanks for the reminder.â
Duruâs smile widened. âBy the way, donât tire yourself out too much. I have a surprise for you guys later.â
Y/N blinked. âSurprise?â
âYouâll see,â Duru said cryptically before leaving the room.
Rosé finally sat up, her hair a mess, rubbing her eyes. âWhy are you yelling so early?â
âItâs 7:00 a.m., Rosé. Move it,â Y/N said, grabbing her bag.

At Practice: 8:00 a.m.
The studio buzzed with energy as Y/N and Rosé arrived, joining their group for another grueling day of training. The schedule was packedâvocal lessons, choreography, rap practice, and meetings.
The rap lessons kicked off first. Y/N delivered her verses flawlessly, her rhythm and delivery on point, earning a nod of approval from the instructor. Rosé, however, struggled to stay in sync.
âRosé, youâre falling behind on the beat again,â the instructor said.
Rosé groaned under her breath, muttering, âIâm tryingâ¦â
Y/N gave her an encouraging nudge. âRelax. Donât overthink it.â
They moved on to vocal lessons, where Rosé hit another rough patch.
âThat note is flat,â the instructor pointed out, shaking their head.
Y/N leaned closer to her and whispered, âYouâre not supporting your voice enough. Use your diaphragm.â
Rosé sighed. âEasier said than done.â
âYouâll get it,â Y/N said with a small smile.

Afternoon: Practice Ends
By 4:30 p.m., the girls dragged themselves out of the studio, utterly spent.
âI cannot believe I messed up so much today,â Rosé grumbled, her voice heavy with frustration.
âI told you staying up late was a bad idea,â Y/N said, smirking.
Rosé shot her a glare. âThanks for the reminder, Captain Obvious.â
Y/N chuckled but added, âYouâre overthinking that note. Relax and just feel it.â
âOh, sure. Why donât you show me again, Ms. Perfect?â Rosé challenged.
Y/N hummed the note Rosé had missed, then sang it flawlessly. âLike this. Support, relax, and let it out.â
Rosé groaned but tried to copy it as they approached their house. Her voice wavered slightly.
âNope,â Y/N said, stopping in her tracks. âYouâre not letting your chest open. Try again.â
Rosé tried again, this time closer to Y/Nâs version.
âBetter,â Y/N said with a small smile.
Rosé grinned triumphantly. âHa! Iâm getting there.â
Just as they opened the door mid-conversation, Y/N froze. The living room was packed with people. Duru stood by the door, beaming, while Kenan, BarıÅ, Arda, and a table filled with snacks greeted them.
âSurprise!â Duru exclaimed, throwing her arms out dramatically.

The Living Room
Y/N blinked, her tired brain struggling to process. âWhat⦠is this?â
âI thought you two could use a little pick-me-up after your long day,â Duru said, clearly proud of herself.
Rosé lit up instantly, her fatigue forgotten. âYouâre the best, Duru!â
Y/N, however, groaned, dropping her bag by the door. âDuru⦠I love you, but I just spent eight hours singing, rapping, dancing, and trying not to pass out. Iâm not sure I can handle this right now.â
Kenan smirked from his spot on the couch. âYou look like youâve been through a war.â
Y/N shot him a tired glare but couldnât suppress a small smile. âThanks for the reminder.â

The Teasing Begins
The group settled in, chatting and laughing, while Y/N tried to stay out of the lively energy. Kenan noticed her slouching in the corner and leaned over.
âYou sure youâre not going to fall asleep right there?â he asked.
Y/N opened one eye. âIf I did, would you leave me alone?â
âNot a chance,â Kenan replied with a smirk.
Duru, sitting across the room, exchanged a look with Arda and then leaned toward Kenan. âHey, didnât you drive Y/N home last night? That was sweet of you.â
Y/N immediately straightened up. âDuru, donât start.â
âWhat? Iâm just saying it was thoughtful of him,â Duru said innocently.
Rosé, catching on, smirked. âOh, definitely. Very thoughtful. Y/N mustâve felt really special.â
âGuys,â Y/N warned, her voice heavy with exhaustion.
Kenan chuckled. âTheyâre just bored. Donât take it personally.â
âOr do,â BarıŠquipped. âMakes it more fun.â
Duru leaned forward, grinning. âCome on, Y/N. If there was something going on, youâd tell us, right?â
Y/N sighed, glancing briefly at Kenan before responding. âIf there was something going on, youâd be the first to know.â
Kenan nodded, his tone calm but playful. âAnd honestly, if there were something, youâd probably be the ones making it happen.â
Duru gasped dramatically. âKenan, are you accusing us of meddling?â
âYes,â Kenan said simply, earning laughter from the group.

Ending
As the evening wore on, Y/N felt herself relax despite her fatigue. She found herself sitting beside Kenan again, this time more at ease.
âYouâre tougher than you look,â Kenan said softly, glancing at her.
Y/N raised an eyebrow. âAnother compliment?â
âTake it however you want,â Kenan replied, his smirk softening into a small smile.
For once, Y/N didnât argue.
