timeline change: flashback from Gun's college days

GUN'S POV

It's finally senior year! One last year, I'm done with college

"Good morning baby!" Oab greeted me with my favorite Milk Tea and some breakfast

"Good morning, I already had breakfast, I messaged you baby" I said but I grabbed the milk tea and smiled at him

Me and Oab are not classmates, Oab is taking up Biology, he wants to be a doctor someday, I took up film because I just really love films and making them...

"I'll see you later?" I asked Oab, he gave me a small smile and sighed

"I have laboratory later baby, I'll see you tomorrow" He said

"I have internship tomorrow baby" I said

We settled to nothing after I noticed that I'm gonna be late for my class.

Off Jumpol suddenly started walking into my classroom, he's not even a regular student anymore, he had to stop for a year because he decided to push through with being an artist, he's very famous though...

"Is this seat taken?" He asked the girl in front of me...

"Omg, no, you can seat there" The girl smiled widely, ofcourse she's gotta be a fan.

I rolled my eyes and just waited for my friends and the professor.

"Almost late Tawan" I said as my friend came rushing.

"Off's our classmate?" He asked me

"I don't know, maybe" I said

The professor came after a while and noticed the man who caught everyone's attention...

"Ah! If it isn't Off Jumpol, you passed the subject last year and now you move forward here, sadly you have be left behind for a few subjects, anyway, since you're here now, You're gonna need to find a partner in this class for a major project, take my word for advice... pick the ones on top" The professor said

It caught my attention, knowing him, he's too busy, for what I know, it'll be a charity project for his chosen partner, but who am I kidding? Everybody wants to be his partner. I'm not gonna lie, he's actually cute tho... he reminds me of someone very familiar.

After classes I hung out with Tay, this is our usual thing, we've been best friends for a while now.

"Gun, it's getting late, I gotta go home, you sure you'd stay here for a while? Oab has laboratory duties today" He told me, I smiled and noded

"I know, I just want some peace before I go home, I'll text when I get home" I said

He left me there on a bench near the university gate. I saw Off Jumpol walking towards me after a few minutes...

"Hey... You're Gun right?" He asked

"Yeah , why?" I asked

"I wanted to ask if we could be project partners... You're on top of the class" He asked me.

"What's in it for me?" I asked. Wow. Never thought I'd be in his list of options lmao

"Is there anything I can do or get for you? Anything." He said seeming desperate

"I'm not an easy buy, show me I won't be doing a charity project, maybe I'll help you if you can't, better find another person maybe" I said leaving him there.

I wanted to help him deep inside of me, but not gonna lie, I'm scared, I don't want him to take credit for something I worked hard for, all these years I've tried to prove everyone that I'd get somewhere with my chosen course...

I headed home and ad my dinner alone, It's always like this, everybody is just so busy...

"You have internship tomorrow P'Gun?" Pim asked

"Yep, don't count me for the meals, might go for a dinner with Oab as well" I said

"Okay, take care" Pim said and left me there

Hey, dinner tomorrow?

Sure baby, I'll fetch you after your internship

Okay, see you, I love you

I love you too

I quickly packed everything I'm gonna need for tomorrow and then decided to check on my social medias, surprisingly, Off Jumpol found his way on my facebook messenger, now he is messaging me, he won't give up huh?

I left him on seen, to be honest, I don't know, is there anything I want him to do? Anything I want from him? He has the money anyway, it'll be easy for him... to buy me for this project.

*the next day*

I went to the studio early for today, being their intern, I have to always be early, I just really hope I have a friend with me, we all got separated and unluckily me, I got stuck with interns from other universities.

"Gun, please check the backdrops if they are ready, we got a big star today" My training staff said

I went to check on the back drops when noise came from everywhere, the artist has arrived I guess? Everybody welcomed the guest and when I turned around, it's him... all in his famous glory, Off Jumpol... He looked at my direction and waved, I gave him a small smile as he approached me

"You do internship here huh? Can we talk?" He asked

"I am working" I told him

"I can tell them to let you go for today" He smiled

"No." I said

"I'll wait 'til you get off work then" He said

"I have plans" I said

He then snatched my phone and smiled at me

"The phone is my leverage, you're getting it back after we talk hehe" I rolled my eyes and I was about to protest when I got called and so is he to get ready

Ugh. The nerves, such a jerk! How much worse will this day get?

I continued doing my job and actually got busy because the director allowed me to be his buddy for today and that I get to see anything from the director's point of view, my dream...

"Give me back my phone" I whispered to Off when we had a small break

"I will, later. You're a good assistant director" He said that left me dumbfounded

It was music to my ears, someone appreciating me for the dreams I really wanted, it makes me wanna keep going, keep pushing through, that someday, I'd get the recognition I deserve...

I was floating in bliss and happiness after the shoot, Off got me to agree to talk to him, and true to his words he gave me my phone back right after the shoot because I agreed to talk, he took me for dinner and eventually I found myself agreeing to be his project partner, we finished around 10 in the evening just talking and everything, it was actually nice of him to send me home too...

"Where have you been?" Oab asked when I entered the house... he's here, omg... I forgot about Oab....
