Chapter 93 I Am Her Husband Jasmine heard her sister’s words and stood up from the sofa, still holding her baseball bat. When she walked to Sarah’s side, she stopped and looked at her with slightly narrowed eyes. “What is your name?”

“You’re also surnames Wilson?” Jasmine was somewhat surprised.

Margaret looked at her little sister and smiled. “What’s so strange about having the surname Wilson?

Hurry up and come. Dad is waiting.”

Jasmine listened to her sister’s words and looked at Sarah again before carrying the baseball bat and leaving with her sister.

The moment both the sisters walked out, Syrus immediately let out a long breath. He patted his chest and said, “I was scared to death!”

Sarah looked at the appearance of her superior and finally could not help but burst into laughing.

Syrus looked at his secretary. “You are too heartless. Didn’t I you see that I was almost beaten to death?”

“Shouldn’t it not happen?” Sarah held back her laughter and replied.

“You must still hold a grudge against what I just did, right? This is good, my Sister has avenged you!”

Syrus walked to his boss’s table and sat down. He narrowed his eyes and looked at Sarah, who was walking over.

“I am not as petty as you think.” Sarah refuted. After the disturbance just now, she had more sympathy for her boss.

Syrus raised his hand and tidied up the dark shirt on his body and looked at Sarah. “Alright. I was just joking with you downstairs. You should know who I am, right?”

After that, Syrus pressed the inline on the table and called for the secretary he had brought back from England.

The office door was pushed open and a girl in a hot short skirt with neat short hair walked in.

“President!”

“Lisa, this is the new secretary, Sarah. Take her to familiarize herself with her work today.”

“Yes.” Lisa nodded and looked at Sarah, “Please follow me.”

Sarah looked at Syrus and nodded slightly then followed Lisa out of the Office.

Although she had experienced such a soul-stirring scene in the morning, Sarah still had a fulfilling morning. She also learned some things about Syrus from Lisa.

When it was almost noon, Syrus pressed the internal line and called Sarah into the office. When Sarah walked in, she saw that Syrus had already stood up and wore his sunglasses very coolly.

He looked at Sarah and smiled charmingly. “Today is your first day at work, and I gave you a scare. So I’ll treat you to lunch today. Let’s go.”

After saying that, he walked past Sarah and was about to leave.

“CEO!” Sarah stopped him.

“What’s wrong?” Syrus stopped in his tracks and looked at her.

“I’m sorry. I have an appointment at noon.” Christian had said that he would wait for her in the noon.

Sarah kept this in mind.

Syrus raised his eyebrows in understanding and then smiled. “It’s okay. Then next time.”

After saying that, he turned around and walked out of the office in a cool manner.

Once Syrus left, Sarah immediately went to her bag for her bag, then walked towards the elevator.

Before she even reached, she saw Syrus standing in front of the elevator looking at her.

“Let’s go together. The elevator at noon is a little crowded.” Syrus smiled. He then walked into the elevator. Sarah hesitated for moment before following him.

The elevator door slowly closed. Syrus looked at Sarah who was beside him. “Who are you going to meet?”

“Friend.” Sarah’s answer was a little lacking in confidence.

“You have a boyfriend?”

Syrus looked at her silently. “What does he do?”

Sarah looked at him. “President, do I have to answer?”

Hearing this, Syrus laughed out loud. After a while, he looked at Sarah. “It seems that your boyfriend does not want to be exposed, right?”

Sarah glared at him angrily. “You are the one who is not allowed to see the light!”

Although Christian’s legs were not good, he was a straightforward person. How could he say that Christian could not see the light?

Syrus heard her words and smiled again, but didn’t say anything else.

The elevator quickly reached the first floor. Syrus’s car had already stopped in front of the lobby.

Seeing him drive away, Sarah walked down the stairs in front of the lobby and walked towards the parking lot.

She saw Christian’s car at the first glance. She originally thought that he only said this casually. She did not expect him to really come.

Seeing Christian roll down the window and wave at her, Sarah immediately ran over with a smile and sat beside him.

Christian grabbed her hand and slowly asked, “Are you hungry?”

Sarah smiled then asked him in puzzlement. “Why didn’t you ask how I was this morning?”

Christian looked at her with a faint smile. “My wife will definitely be fine.”

Sarah could not help but smile again when she heard his words.

The car started up and drove away from the square in front of Wilson Group.

“Where are we going to eat today? Are we going back to the apartment?” Sarah looked at the road in front and asked.

“I heard from my dad that there is a five-star hotel in Wilson Group that is very well made. Since you are going to work there in the future, you should know more about Wilson Group. Today, we are going to eat in their hotel.”

Hearing Christian’s words, Sarah’s heart inexplicably warmed.

This man looked cold and strong. Actually, he was very considerate towards Sarah most of the time.

“Okay.” She smiled and nodded. When she looked at Christian, she felt that he was really becoming more and more handsome.

Because the hotel was not far away, they reached very quickly. Sarah first got out of the car then helped Christian walk down and let him hold onto his walking stick. Then they entered the hotel together.

Sarah originally thought that Christian would want a single room. But Christian insisted on the lobby manager to bring the two to the restaurant on the second floor.

Christian’s legs were not convenient, so it was easy for him to become the center of attention. When Sarah helped him out of the elevator, many people threw strange looks at them. Sarah ignored these gazes and helped Christian to a seat near the window.

After they ordered some dishes, Christian looked at Sarah opposite him.

“How do you feel at work?” Christian asked Sarah with a smile.

“Pretty good. I was a little nervous but most of it was excitement. This is a feeling I’ve never felt before in the Cooper Group.”

“Is that so? That’s good. How’s your boss? What kind of person is he?”

“Not bad. Do you know? When I entered the company this morning, our CEO’s second sister chased after him with a baseball bat because he was half an hour late for work.” Sarah could not help but laugh when she thought of what happened this morning.

Christian also smiled when he heard Sarah’s words. “It seems that your superior is not bad.”

“Compared to Julian?” Christian asked.

Sarah was a little surprised when she heard what Christian said. She thought about it and was about to answer the question when she heard a familiar voice behind her.

“Isn’t this Sarah? You guys are eating here too?”

When Sarah looked up, she saw Syrus walking to their table with a smile on his face. He looked down at Sarah and then looked at Christian. He subconsciously looked at the crutches beside Christian.

When Sarah saw Syrus, she immediately stood up. “President, you are also here to eat?”

Syrus smiled and nodded. He looked at Christian. “You are Sarah’s boyfriend, right? Sarah said she had an appointment with her friend for lunch. I didn’t expect it to be such a coincidence. Hello.”

After saying that, Syrus stretched out his hand towards Christian.

Christian first looked at Sarah then at Syrus. He stretched out his hand and shook Syrus’s hand with force. He looked at the later and corrected him in a light voice. “You misunderstood. I am not her boyfriend.”

Syrus smiled when he heard him. “Really? I thought you were her boyfriend.”

“I am her Husband!”

Sarah did not expect Christian to introduce their relationship so directly. Her face instantly turned red.

Syrus was slightly stunned, but he still smiled very quickly. “I thought Sarah was not married yet. It turns out that she even has a husband. You guys enjoy. I will go.”

After saying that, Syrus left with a smile. He went to the seat behind Christian and sat down facing Sarah.

The lunch was a little awkward because Sarah only needed to lift her head slightly to see Syrus, who was not far away from her, looking at her. She immediately looked away.

Luckily, Syrus ate quickly and left not long after. When he left, he greeted Sarah and Christian, then put on his sunglasses and put his hands in his pocket and left the hotel in a carefree manner.

“Did I make a fool of you?” Christian looked at Sarah.

“No! I didn’t say that!” Sarah immediately denied it.

Christian looked at her indifferently and did not continue to say anything.

They had a quick lunch, then Christian sent her to the company. Seeing her enter into the company, Christian told the driver to drive away.

When Sarah entered the company, Lisa looked at her and said, “The CEO asked you to come back to his office.”

“Okay!” Sarah nodded and turned around to go to office of president.

When she walked in, she saw Syrus reading the documents seriously. Sarah walked over. “President, you are looking for me?”

Syrus put down the document and looked at Sarah with a smile.

“Let me gossip. Is the person who ate with you really your husband?”
