"Mochi... come on... you have to get yourself checked." Shohei tried to comfort you. You were hiding under one of the broken tables in the room.
You refused to let the medics near you. Refusing to be touched as your neck still throbbed in pain from the fact that Aizawa had nearly choked you to death.
Shohei's beaten up state didn't help at all. You couldn't move or let anyone near you.
"N-no." Your hoarse pained voice was barely a whisper as you backed away further.
"S'cuse me." Tora walked in, getting down beside him. He was the one who crawled closer to you. "Hey, quit crying, alright." Shohei could say that wasn't the most comforting thing to say, but he wasn't sure what else he could do to help you.
Tora looked glanced at him, "you... I think you should get yourself checked for injuries first." The look in the tiger's eyes meant something Shohei didn't really like, but was right. "I'll take care of her for now, promise." He said before tuning back to you and giving a gentle smile.
He watched as the tiger boy crawled over to you and gave you a pat. He sat beside you as you leaned on his shoulder, starting to calm down. "Give her a few moments, yeah?" He told the medic.
You held his shirt tightly, the fear, the betrayal. You weren't sure if you could trust Aizawa again.

Aizawa was back to square one.
The trust was gone
And you were more terrified than ever.
Aizawa was going to be more patient than ever. He had to be more gentle and understanding. He owed it to you and to himself to do that.
He still thought of it as his fault anyway.
Fortunately, you hadn't completely shut down. You still managed to communicate with the others, just a lot more cautious than before. Your personal bubble was heavily implied more and had grown a bit bigger than before, but that was understandable.
Overall you were handing things a little better than they'd expect.
All except the way you'd react to even just seeing Aizawa at the over side of the room.
You wouldn't completely thrash around or go haywire, but you'd lose focus of what you were doing or who you were talking to. You'd fall silent as you tried not to look his way, but your eyes always found their way to linger to him again.
Just having him in the same room as you made you uneasy.
Even with that, they had to make you at least let Aizawa in the same room. They had to at least get you to feel comfortable with him in the room.
At least that little adjustment could be made because they couldn't keep staying in the hospital. You couldn't stay in the same room forever.
You had to go home.
So everyday, after classes, they'd go there and have Aizawa at least just stand in the room while Shohei and Hoshiko played with you. Distracted you.
So at least, they could bring you home and you can do your little distance and avoidance from Aizawa at home. You just had to be comfortable with him in the same room.
But sometimes, Aizawa just felt like giving up. Maybe just letting Mic take care of you, or maybe Kayama. Sometimes he'd just stand in that room and watch you play with the other two are you gave anxious glances towards him, as if remaining on high alert despite being around people you were already familiar with or trusted like Shohei or Hoshiko.

Aizawa sat there, watching you draw with Shohei. Hoshiko and Yamada weren't able to come as he had his radio show to manage and he had decided to have Hoshiko with him.
The man sighed, he usually had Mic to talk to through this, maybe assure him that everything would be back to normal in no time but he wasn't there to do that.
His thoughts lingered to the darker areas. Coming back to the self-hatred he had as he watched the kids draw. Your bruises were far from gone and so was Shohei's.
The boy had multiple people come up to him in class to ask what had happened. Aizawa could see just how uncomfortable he was answering it, knowing how hard it must been to explain that his own dad had done that to him but not intentionally.
He had noticed that it wasn't only You who gained more trauma because of what happened, but also Shohei. Of course, he was beaten up after all.
He'd notice how the boy would flinch back if a movement was a little too quick that he'd anticipate. And the way his body would tense up in certain situations or moments when they'd meet eyes.
It was obvious and it was frustrating to Aizawa, because he knew it was his fault.
He watched you patiently draw, eyes focused on your coloring as Shohei had already fallen asleep on the ground, forgetting his own work.
His eyes followed you little hands as the moved around the paper. You were calm and focused and it was just so nice seeing you that way.
Your hand reached out to get another color, but it ended up pushing it further, only to end up in front of Aizawa.
Your eyes met his.
Unsure of what to do, you turned to look at Shohei, hoping he'd get it for you, but the boy was fast asleep. You didn't want to wake him. He looked so worked up, all the bandages that still wrapped around him. The tired eyes and the dark bags forming under them.
You didn't want to wake Shoehi, so you just turned to look at Aizawa.
He wasn't sure what to do either. He contemplated in wether he'd pick it up and give it to you or just leave it and watch you figure out what you'd do, see if you really needed that color.
To his surprise, you got up and slowly walked to him.
He tried to fight back an excited smile as you inched closer. Watching you slowly walk over to him to retrieve the color.
Filling with hope and excitement, the man ended up picking the coloring material up, reaching it out for you to get.
You stopped in front of him. Both of you looking at each other and then the coloring material.
"Here." Aizawa gave a soft small smile.
"Tha-thank... you." You mittered shyly, tiny hand getting the coloring material from his bigger hand and walking back to draw. Your eyes glancing ever so slightly at him.
It was a small act, but it meant everything to Aizawa.

"Isn't it a bit of a small act for you to get too excited?" Tora raised a brow, his arms crossed as he sat on Aizawa's couch with Shohei as the man explained what you had done.
His eyes on his hand, remembering the warmth of your small ones.
Shohei gave Tora a glare, "why are you even here? Aren't you, like, with the League or something? You know, bad guy?"
Tora scoffed, "just to remind you, I jumped in to help stop Akane from making Aizawa a child murderer." He looked away childishly, a small pout on his face. "You should be thanking me."
Shohei snorted, shaking his head. "As if. For all we know you could be the reason why she was there in the first place or you could be giving out intel on where we live and what we're doing-"
"You wish." Tora spat. "I told you, I don't take sides! Akane's a mad scientist driven with the urge to create something powerful and god knows what that dried ass Shigaraki wants... they don't even care where I am."
Shohei rolled his eyes, and turned away from him. "Say whatever you want, Tigger."
"What did you call me you son of a bi-"
"Language." Aizawa glared at the two boys.
"Dad are you really going to let this overgrown pus-"
"Don't even try, Shoehi." Aizawa groaned. "Even with what the kid has done, he could prove valuable in finding info about the league."
Tora looked slightly offended, "Oh wow I feel so used."
Aizawa shot him a look. "Listen here, I'm only allowing you here because you managed to help out, alright? I'm letting you in as a mere thanks, but if you decide to fo anything funny-"
"I won't! I told you I won't. Jeez ya'll have some massive trust issues." Tora sighed as Aizawa and Shohei glared at him for a bit.
"Speaking of the person who gave my sister trust issues." Shohei responded back. "Don't even understand how she manages not to kill you what you've done.... Tai Lung."
"That's a fucking leopard! I'm a tiger, you dipshit!"
"Hey! No swearing!"

After the event with the coloring material, you seemed to lenient with him walking closer. And soon enough, you were back home with the cats.
You just didn't allow Aizawa to get into your personal bubble, nor touch you.
But that was better than not even tolerating him in the room.
It was better than anything.
"Here, let me help." Aizawa muttered, helping out Shohei to finish putting on the shirt. It was obvious that the kid was still in pain and healing.
The amount of bandages around his torso and the bruises that littered his body, Aizawa wondered how he'd managed to even focus in class.
"You... should rest tomorrow... not go to class." Aizawa muttered, pulling down the boy's shirt gently as he felt how tense his body was.
"No need for that dad-"
"Its a Thursday tomorrow... I wont mind you being absent for two days." Aizawa cut him off. "Stay with your sister and rest... ever since-" he stopped himself for a moment, "since that day you havent rested. You went straight back to school... its worrying so... I'm telling you to stay here... with your sister and the kid."
Shohei sighed and finally agreed. "Alright."

The feeling of not being able to breath was horrible. The weight of the big hands that held onto your neck was unbearable. His glaring red eyes were terrifying.
It was already sunrise and you haven't slept since. The recent events were flashing in your mind and it kept you from closing your eyes and sleeping. It was annoying.
Shohei was fast asleep beside you and Tora was in the other bedroom. You laid there while you knew Aizawa was right on the couch in the living room.
You worried for him. You wondered how he was, but you were just afraid. Afraid he'd do it again. You knew he wouldn't, but as a child, you still had your doubts. You still were afraid that he might hurt you again.
You hugged onto you pet cat and shut your eyes. Maybe it might help and actually get you some sleep. Your ears flickered when you heard a creaking sound. You opened your eyes to see Aizawa, slowly walking into the room.
He stopped when he saw you. You both just stared at each other.
"Sorry. Didn't mean to wake you." Aizawa gave you a soft look, slowly walking over.
You quickly got up the bed and pushed yourself back. It was out of your fear that you did, but you never really meant to hurt Aizawa.
Aizawa saw this and placed his hands up, "I won't do anything, sweetheart." He sighed as he looked over to sleeping Shohei then to you, who gave him a wary look.
Your neck throbbed. You looked at him more as he looked defeated. More defeated and hurt compared to the time you thought the Nomu had killed him. You didn't understand it.
"(Y/n)-" you flinched at his voice. He was guilty. Guilty of what he had done. "Does... does your neck still hurt? Want daddy to get some ice?"
You moved back when he attempted to get close. Back to square one... or worse... Aizawa thought as he could see you starting to quiver in fear. It reminded him of how he had first met you, where he got to know you a little. That was months ago and here you are now, holding almost the same exact feared expression. Only now, you had a reason to fear him.
"A-Aiza-wa... hu-urt... me-e." You muttered, looking like you were about to cry.
Aizawa frowned. You were right with that one. He did hurt you. He nearly killed you. "Yeah... I did... didn't I?" He looked away after seeing your neck. It had his fingers marked right there. "I'm sorry... I... I didn't mean to."
You looked at him and saw his sorrowful expression. You'd probably hug him if you weren't so afraid of having him choke you again.
"Well... goodnight." He sighed and went over to at least give Shohei a kiss, but you felt like he might hurt your brother again so you shielded him, a pout forming on your face.
"N-no! No." You cried as you looked at him in fear.
Aizawa's eyes widened and just gave you space. He felt even worse. You saw him as a villain- someone who hurt you and your brother. You were terrified of him.
Aizawa could only nod at you and walk out of the room to get ready for work.

You've fallen asleep once Aizawa had left the room. By the time you woke up, Shohei had already read the note Aizawa left on the fridge.
Hey Sho, didn't wake you up anymore since I think you'd need some serious rest. I already cooked you guys breakfast, its in the fridge. Anyways, I might head home later today...
Don't forget to take a bath and help you sister as well. Let the tiger kid borrow your clothes.... I'm not exactly sure how long he'll stay or if he's willing to actually stay with us... so yeah.
If there's any problem, call me, alright?
- Shota
Shohei sighed and opened the fridge to see the breakfast in one of their glass tupperwares.
He watched you walk into the kitchen, looking around as you held your cat. Tora was already seated in the dining table, waiting eagerly for the food.
Shohei helped you on the chair then served the food for you guys to eat.
Tora looked at Shohei with a weird look. "The hell is this?" The tiger boy gestured to the food as Shohei got a few and munched on it.
"Its steak." Shohei rolled his eyes at the boy. "Why? Don't eat meat?" Tora shook his head. "What? A vegetarian tiger? That's new." Shohei scoffed.
Tora gave him a glare. "No." He said stubbornly.
"its just that.... I've been on a steady diet of cup noodles." Shohei snorted and looked at him with a raised brow. "Not like the league's actually serving good food you know." Tora mumbled.
Shohei chuckled and shook his head. "Whatever... just eat up." He then turned to you, as you kept looking around, worried. "Mochi, eat up." He pushed your plate closer.
You whimpered hugging your cat. You looked at Shohei sadly. "A-Aiza-wa?" You barely muttered, your voice strained.
"Oh he already left." He answered as he took another bite. Tora practically inhaled his food while you haven't touched it. You looked at it sadly then back at Shohei.
"L-left?" You pouted sadly. "He... le-eft?" You looked like you were about to cry, it made both boys tense.
Shohei scrambled to your side, giving you an assuring smile. "Do-don't worry! He'll be back!" You started to sniffle as your cheeks got red. "He'll be back! Don't cry! Do-don't cry, Mochi!"
You still ended up crying, making both boys panic.
You felt guilty. You thought you had acted too mean and made Aizawa leave, especially with what you did that morning. You thought you had made him angry or hurt that he decided to actually leave you.

"Yo sensei." Bakugou called out to Aizawa as they met each other on the way to class. "Where's that dumbass heihei?" He's gotten quite fond of the nickname Heihei, it always pissed Shohei off.
"He's resting at home."
"He looks pretty roughed up... extensive overtime training?" Aizawa was quite shocked at how calm and observant Bakugou could be.
He man just nodded, pretty sure it was better to not tell the real reason.
"And Spicy Mochi?" He started calling you that after you Yamada accidentally fed you something spicy and your reaction was just priceless.
Bakugou looked over to how his teacher looked quite sad before turning to him and answering: "She's still sick..." He wasn't really lying, but he wasn't really saying the truth as well.
Bakugou nodded and they walked into class.

You were still crying and Shohei and Tora were doing everything to make you stop, but you were too convinced that it was your fault he left.
You thought he left because of how you acted towards him. Looking at him and avoiding him. You felt guilty and wanted to see him despite still being afraid of what happened before.
You wanted Aizawa back.

Aizawa had explained to the Yamadas that you had finally gotten home. He also explained what had happened this morning.
"Is Shohei alright?" Yamada asked Aizawa as he watched the man stare at his food sadly. He had noticed how the boy had not rested since and was slightly glad that he was absent today. "Is he-"
"Don't worry about that gremlin, dad." Hoshiko waved Yamada off. "He may be shorter than me, but hell, he's a tough one." She smiled at Yamada then gave Aizawa an assuring look.
She placed her hand on one of Aizawa's bandaged arm and flashed him her bright smile, "I've gotten to train with him a few times in the lab, and let me tell you this, its gonna take a lot more than to keep that kid down." She tried to lighten the mood, but Aizawa's self hate was winning a little more.

"Mochi." Shohei sighed as you had stayed in Aizawa's room, sitting on the bed and crying as you hugged onto your black cat. "Mochi... Dad's going to be back... I promise." He's been trying to make you feel better, but you've completely shut off and had just sat there for the next few hours after an hour of crying.
Tora sighed, this was one of the things he's been warning you. He didn't want you too attached to anyone because it'd hurt so much more when they betray you, even if it was unintentional. He knew how it felt. He didn't want that to happen to you.
But there you were, pretty much heart broken.
"Just leave her be for now." Tora sighed. "Then try calling again." Aizawa hadn't answered his calls because it was school policy to leave phones in the lounge. He must've been very busy with classes that he couldn't even head back to the faculty.
Shohei sighed as they both looked at you, sitting there sadly with your arms around your favorite plushy.
"Its just troubling..."
Tora nodded and thought for a moment. He was slightly alright with your situation, not being to properly trust Aizawa was somewhat good to him, but how you reacted was not. He wanted you to lessen you trust in everyone, especially on Aizawa, but the way you acted now was just unsettling. He felt bad.
"Wanna go to him instead?"

"Hey Aizawa sensei." Shinsou grunted as he dodged Aizawa's kicks. They were having one on on training as it was both their freetime and Aizawa didn't want to sit around or nap cause he'd end up thinking of you and Shohei. He wanted to get his mind off of it.
"Haven't seen Sho all day and I heard Mochi's back home." Aizawa didn't like how this was going, so he threw a punch then a kick. "How are they?"
Aizawa grunted, dodging Shinsou's kick. "Fine."
"Doesn't seem like its fine," he responded.
"Everything is fine." Aizawa managed to punch Shinsou in the face, making the kid fall back. For a second, Aizawa could see Shohei. He shook his head and gave Shinsou a worried look. "I-... You-"
"Fine." Shinsou smirked, rubbing his jaw. "Are you alright, Sensei?"
Aizawa looked at Shinsou, the visible injuries that he had sustained that day.
"I am." Aizawa sighed. "Lets end things here for today."

"What is with your sense of fashion?" Tora glared at the jacket he had on. It was a bright orange tiger themed jacket. "Why is it so childish?"
Shohei rolled his eyes as he helped you into your (y/f/c) jacket and scarf. It was an unusually cold day. "Just get over it. Its the only one that fits you... the rest are too big for you."
Tora sighed, "whatever... do you actually wear this in public?"
"Its for night use only, idiot." Shohei glared at the tiger boy. "Come on... lets get there before the school day ends." He gave you an assuring smile as you all left the apartment.

"Hey... cheer up, Sho." Yamada tried, but the sad look on his friend's face told him it wasn't working.
He had been quite down for the entire day. The school day was almost ending, and Aizawa had nothing else to do. He did state he was going to be heading home late, but that was just for him to be able to give you space and give him time to think. He was actually planning on having a few drinks in a bar to have a little bit of stress relief.
"I'm fine-"
"Hey Eraser!" Both men turned to see Thirteen walking inside. "Is your son sick? I didn't see him in class."
Aizawa nodded and then only now went to check on his phone. His eyes widened at the sight. 20 miss calls. 35 unread messages. All from Shohei. Why does he always turn off his notifications?
"Oh shit." He placed a hand on his head as Yamada looked to see through his phone. "Fuck, why didn't I see this?!" He got up abruptly and got his coat, ready to leave. "Fuck!" He placed his phone in his pocket as he wore his coat. It was unusually cold and the temperature had dropped to negative, but still no snow. Just a random temperature drop. "Zashi, take over my class."
With that he took off. His heart was pounding. What could have happened? Why so much miss calls? He was worried something had happened.
He was speed walking since he still wanted to be a good teacher and set an example, but when he read through Shohei's texts, that's when he decided to run- sprint even.
Dad? Dad, you aren't picking up your cell.
Aizawa wanted to hit himself. Was he really getting that sloppy? That careless?
Dad I really need you to pick up... its about (y/n)...
Were you alright? What happened? Did something happen? Did someone break in again? Were you hurt? He could hear his heart pounding in his ears as he dashed through the giant school.
She's been really upset, dad... I couldn't make her stop.
Dad, she's still crying...
Dad what do I do?!
He couldn't help but think that something bad had happened. You might have accidentally activated your quirk, and maybe Shoheu couldn't erase it. You could be hurt... or worse.
As he ran out of UA, the setting sunlight his his eyes, making him shield himself. He let his eye sight adjust as he continued to run and finally leave the school, until-
"Dad?" Aizawa looked to where the source and was shocked to see the three of you there, standing and all wrapped up cozily.
"Sho." Aizawa said breathlessly, eyes falling to you as you looked at him while hugging your toy. "You-... you're alright."
Shohei chuckled. "Yeah, of course." He shrugged a bit, looking down on you. "She was pretty upset that you left... and since you weren'f answering neither my calls nor texts-" Aizawa mentally hit himself. "- thought it would be a good idea to head here... sorry if we've startled you." He gave Aizawa a warm look despite the tired eyes.
Aizawa sighed in relief. You were ok. He felt the small smile tugging onto his lips as he looked at you and your cheeks that became red due to the cold. "Its... Its fine." He said softly.
He wasn't exactly sure on what to do now. You were probably still afraid of his touch and wanted distance. So he stood there and there was this silence for a moment.
"Mochi... dad's right there." Shohei told you, having his hand push you a bit. "Didn't you want to see him?"
Here's an old art that I plan to redraw so I might republish this chapter soon hehe
You looked up at him and then back at Aizawa. Your grip on Shohei's coat loosened while the one on your toy tightened. You took a few steps forward before letting go and walking over to Aizawa.
Said man just watched you, not wanting to scare you off with any actions.
"A-Ai-za-wa." Your broken voice tried its best as you came closer. "So-or-ry." You pouted, feeling the hot tears in your eyes.
Aizawa got down to your height. "What for, honey? You didn't do anything wrong." You shook your head, shakily coming closer, still alert and watching for any sudden movements.
"I... hu-urt... y-ou." You stopped right in front of him, brows knotted and eyes on him. "So-or-ry."
Aizawa was the one who shook his head this time. "Baby, you didn't hurt me... I... I was the one who hurt you." He admitted looking at you and getting a glimpse of your neck under the (y/f/c) scarf you wore.
"I-I... al-so... hurt... you." You pointed at the hidden bandages under his sleeves. "I... hu-urt... you... mo-ore." You pointed onto his chest as to where you saw him gripping his shirt.
It was right after he left the room. You quietly walked over to the slightly opened door and saw him, sitting on the couch. His head hung lowly and his one hand on his chest. You could tell he was crying by the way his body slightly shook. That's when you knew you did something wrong.
"Baby..." Aizawa looked at you with a bit of surprise. "You-"
"Sor-ry." You pouted at him. "So-ory...."
Aizawa brought a hand out to pat you a little too quickly and it made you flinch. He somewhat understood it now and slowed his movements. "I'm sorry too, (Y/n)." He patted your head then looked up at Shohei. "I'm sorry, to both of you."
Shohei smiled softly then walked over to get down and hug both of you. Aizawa hugged back, then finally you. The three of you hugged each other for a while.
Tora watched the scene play out. He clicked his tongue and looked away.
"Emotional idiots."
***
Hello there! How was the chapter?
I personally think Aizawa's a little off character for being a little too emotional, but eh... guess I can't really have a cold dadzawa, yeah?
Hope you enjoy the chapter and story so far!
See you on the next chapter!
