"Ahh Come on!" Shinsou laughed as Shohei was once again tangled in Aizawa's scarf, unable to grasp the idea of how to use it.

He, Shinsou, Aizawa and you were in one of the rarely used training grounds, watching Shohei practice his scar usage.

He struggled with that, but in other aspects, he was quite good. His hand to hand was flawless as well as how he controlled his energy- generated weapons.

"Don't worry." Shinsou helped him house, happily patting his back in support. "You've gotten this much in such little time... compared to me." He scratched his head bashfully. He hated to admit that a kid much younger than him was progressing in combat so much quicker than him.

Although he had heard from Aizawa that Shohei had gone through some sort of training before he moved in with him, but that was it. Even with little information, Shinsou wasn't oblivious to the recent news of the sudden earthquake and cases of missing kids being found, he had guessed that you and Shohei were a part of it.

It wasn't hard to piece together, really, but he felt as if it would be best if he did not bring it up, worried it might trigger you or Shohei.

One thing he was quiet curious of was the big resemblance of Shohei and Aizawa. It was weird, especially since he also had the ability to erase quirks, which was mixed with his ability to control energy. Not really wanting to sound like a theoriest, but their resemblance was scary, especially even when they weren't really father and son... maybe.

||

"So... where are we going, exactly?" Shinsou asked, wearing a first draft of what his hero costume could be like. It had dark colors consisting of black, grey and a bit of purple to match his features. "Where would a gothic uncle bring his heavily influenced gothic son and nephew?"

"I wouldn't really say gothic, just dark themed." Shohei chuckled, looking at his own rather dark attire that was quite similar to Aizawa's. They all were in quite comfy, a little baggy attires with combat boots and extra pouches for smaller weapons as well as first aid.

"I did not heavily influence any of you." Aizawa grumbled, looking down at you, who also wore a rather dark themes attire, which were actually the gift that Bakugou's mom (which was actually Bakugou's idea)gave. It consisted of a dark grey sweater, (r/f/c) shirt with a dark grey leggings and matching (r/f/c) boots. They had little X designs along with a rather cutely designed skull in the middle of your sweater.

"Right." the boys laughed jokingly as they walked through the streets to wherever they were suppose to go to.

Aizawa explained that he just had to go check into the agency he worked for if there were any new assignments that were still vacant and that he could take, just the simpler assignments like night patrol or quick information gathering.

Walking into a rather formal vicinity, you were met with multiple other costumed people, all conversing about work or current events. It made you feel even smaller than you already felt. So much formalities and people talking about topics you didn't understand. It was an even more confusing world you were yet to get into.

"You can sit over there, or you can just stand beside me while I'm-"

"We're technically your sidekicks, so wouldn't it be best if we did join in and listen?"

"alright." Aizawa held onto your little hand as you went over to some desk and a person and the conversation about heroing and missions and assignments started. You stood there with them, unsure of what to say or do. You felt out of place, like most of the time.

You constantly felt out of place, maybe it was because you were a child, or maybe because you were still learning so much. You did try your best though, you tried to fit in or at least feel like you belonged.

You looked around, for something to familiarize with because it seemed as Aizawa and the other two were feeling quite distant to you at the moment as they conversed about Hero works.

You eyes landed on what seemed like a pair of wings.

You had to look again, and sure enough they really were wings. A big pair and maybe a very long wing span. They were attached to a blonde haired man who stood tall amongst the other people.

Something about him lured you to him. Without knowing, you were already heading over to the man.

His eyes met yours, the blue shining. He stopped talking, to the person he was with and looked down at you. His onyx wings ruffled a bit as he got down you your height.

"Hello there." He had a foreign accent, as if he wasn't from Japan.

You stepped back, realizing you had walked over to a stranger.

But he didn't feel like a stranger.

"Aren't you a little too young to be a hero?" He chuckled at his little joke, but you were still contemplating on talking to this man.

You've never seen him before yet there was some sort of familiarity to the man in front of you. From his long blonde hair, long pointed ears and big yet thing black wings, there was something about him that made him familiar.

"I'm Corvus." He introduced himself, a hand out to you.

"(Y/n)..." you muttered grabbing his calloused hand to shake.

Something about him lured you to him. There was a familiarity that just made you feel like you weren't out of place anymore.

"Well (y/n), what are you doing here? Are you lost? Or are you waiting for someone?" His soft smile and accented voice just made you relaxed around him, like you could just lower your guard.

You turned over to where Aizawa and the two boys were still standing and conversing. "With... them."

The man's smile brought you to a new found comfort and he gave you a little pat on your shoulder, but you could notice how his eyes lingered at the boys. Maybe he was just curious as to who Aizawa was since he isn't known that much as a hero.

Your eyes took in the features of the man, trying to understand why there was a familiarity from him. You've never seen him before, no feature in his face or elsewhere was familiar to you. Everything about him was new, yet there he was, luring you in with this familiar feeling of closeness.

Maybe it was the wings.

Maybe your lack of wings lured you to the man. Maybe you longed to regain your wings once more.

"(Y/n)?" Your ears flicked up to see Shohei walking over to you. "You-... who is this?" He tried to sound as polite as possible despite the obvious confusion and his suspicion towards the man.

Corvus stood up and gave Shohei a smile, "hello, so you must be the one accompanying this little crow?" His toothy smile shone as he pushed you towards Shohei.

His blue eyes examined the boy in front of him, then the two who watched as well.

"I'm Corvus... your little sister approached me... I actually thought she was lost," scratching his head he looked down at you. "But I'm glad she wasn't, I would have probably cried in stress to find the kid's parents."

Shohei kept a rather serious face, worried if this man was some sort of weirdo or someone who'd want to get you.

Sensing this, Corvus flashed him another smile, hand running a hand through his blonde hair. He gazed at the person he was talking to, "well, I guess I'll get going... just glad she wasn't lost or anything... have a nice day!" He waved at you good bye before walking off to the person before.

You waved goodbye, rather sadly as you watched him leave the place. The feeling you had leaving with him.

"(Y/n) why did you do that? That was dangerous." Shohei looked at you with a mix or worry and frustration.

You looked down sadly, seeing how you had made all three worried. Now you just felt bad. You felt like you didn't belong, and no matter what you did, you just made people worry.

"S-sorry." You mumbled, eyes avoiding them.

Aizawa sighed and gave Shohei a pat before getting to your level. "You remember what I said about strangers, right?" You avoided his gaze as his tone was in a disciplining manner, you didn't like that. "I'm not mad... but I just want to know why you came up to him."

You honestly didn't know, but you knew that saying 'I dont know' would get you nowhere, so you just went with the Wings.

You muttered out the word "big wings" and it seemed the two already understood, quickly letting it go and assuring you that they weren't mad.

||

The day went on with walking around the place, patrolling Hosu and just stopping to eat or rest for a while.

It was quite fun, the two boys taking turns in carrying you and making jokes along the way.

Sometimes you'd stop to pet a cat or two.

You were walking hand in hand with the two boys as Aizawa walked behind, smiling to himself at how adorable the three of you were.

He just smiled to himself, reminding him that he was technically your dad now. Never had he actually thought of having kids. He never thought it would be this much fun. There were rough times, yes, like you crying or getting scared and hyperventilating or even accidentally use your quirk, but it was alright. He enjoyed it. He enjoyed every moment of it. It was fulfilling. Maybe this was what his past girlfriend, (Y/n) had told him years ago. The feeling of being complete. Of having a family of his own.

He looked up at the night sky. There weren't any visible stars due to the city lights, but he found comfort in its dark blue color.

"Hey, do you guys want to have ramen-" he was cut off by a loud explosion. It was faraway, but still loud.

People started running and there was noise everywhere. Aizawa looked over to you as you stared at him in fear.

"Its gonna be ok, kid." He told you as Shohei picked you up. "Nothing bad will happen-"

As if wanting to go against his words, a car was thrown close by. They all turned to see a rampaging beast. A nomu.

There were several in the area, causing destruction as they go.

"Shit." Aizawa cursed. "You two stay here. Stay safe and keep you sister close." He said as he placed on his goggles and dashed off to try and help as much as he could.

You watched as Aizawa helped people. He saved them from getting hit. Pulling them away with his scarf and helping them get away.

He was a hero.

"Lookie here." A throaty voice make  the three of you turn to meet the bright blue eyes of Dabi. "Bet the boss'll be happy to see you." He smiled at them, bringing a hand out.

Before the blue flames could hit you three, you were wrapped in Aizawa's scarf and pulled out onto the open street.

Aizawa glared at the villain with crimson eyes. He wasn't going to let anyone near you or hurt you that easily.

Shinsou and Shohei were both ready to fight as well, hands in their own scarfs, reasy for combat.

It would have been easier if it was only Dabi, however it seemed he had back up (aside from the Nomu), this gave him the chance to leave it to the pair.

The new duo turned to them. They both had brown hair and chestnut eyes. They grinned at you, showing off their fangs.

You gasped back as you watched them turn into a pair of lions, on either side in hopes to corner you against the flames and chaos.

Aizawa grunted, gesturing the two boys to step back. The pair of big cats were twice the size of normal lions, therefore making it harder to handle them.

"Shinsou, hold her." Shohei handed you to the older male. He knew he had a bigger chance in fighting as he his quirk could help in combat.

"Sho, don't be an idiot." Aizawa warned, backing up more as the lions got close.

Shohei grunted, generating twin blades glowing in a bright blue hue that matched his now glowing eyes. His hair defyed gravity like Aizawa's.

If it wasn't such a serious moment, Shinsou would have joked about getting a blood test to see if they really were related.

When the lioness went to claw at Shohei, he dodged then slashed back at her, inflicting a deep wound on one of the front paws. Aizawa wrapped the lion that tried to pounce at him and threw him against the lioness, bringing them to the ground and giving them time to run.

You all ran and tried to get to a safe place, but there was either a nomu or fire stopping you.

"Y.N.14." Your body stopped moving, the muscle memory kicking in. Your eyes widened as you forced yourself to turn to where you knew she stood.

There stood Akane with two Nomus by her side. She held onto them and they stood there like behaved dogs. She was using her telepathic ability to control them.

"Long time no see." Aizawa grunted, guessing that you were her target. He turned and signaled you all to run the opposite direction, but was stopped by a rising concrete wall and a white tiger walking right above it.

The tiger jumped down, and growled, showing them that they were bow surrounded.

"You know, it was Shigaraki's idea to cause havoc. There wasn't really another plan, guess he wanted to scare people." She looked at her nails like nothing wrong was happening. "But then I got word you were here." She smiled wickedly, golden eyes on you. "Time to come home to mommy, you two."

Shohei looked just as terrified as you, even stumbling back in fear.

Aizawa was worried this would affect how he fights. He glared at the lady in front. So this was the one who ruined your lives. He had thought as he assessed the situation, finding a way out.

They were cornered perfectly and away from other heroes.

"N-No." Shohei trembled in fear, but he managed to get back up and get into a fighting stance. "You will never be our mom... and we'll never come with you." He gripped onto the handle that helped him control his energy blades. He was shaking, but he was willing to face his fears.

Aizawa was worried, but he did his best to keep it to himself and trust his kids.

They were too occupied by Akane that Tora had taken the advantage and pounced on Shinsou, who held you.

You yelped, getting away as you knew you were his target and not Shinsou.

"(Y/n)!" They all glanced at you in worry as you backed up away from the big tiger.

You backed up against a light pole and unable to get back at the three, and they couldn't just turn their backs on Akane.

"(Y/n)? Oh was that the name they gave you?" She laughed, shaking her head in a disappointed manner.

You barely dodged the claws of the tiger you knew as Tora. Yelping back as you were pinned down by a single paw.

They couldn't just help you, they couldn't because they were sure Akane would made the Nomus attack as well, and they couldn't take that.

"Looks like you've already forgotten what I've told you." She gestured for one of the Nomus to move and it quickly targeted Shohei.

Aizawa was going to pull the boy out, but the greyish blue nomu was quicker than he expected and had already gotten to Shohei before his scarf could. It pinned the boy to the ground.

"Shohei!" Aizawa and Shinsou called.

Shinsou, being closer tried to attack it, but he too was soon pinned yo the ground by only one big hand.

"You are nothing but weapons." Akane told snarled. "You do not need names, or homes or families." She grinned gingerly at how annoyed Aizawa was. "You are just tools."

"Shut it!" Aizawa growled, running to get her, but she grstured for the other one and it made quick work to target Aizawa. It grabbed him and pushed him down harshly to the ground.

Tora growled at you. To everyone, it was just a growl. But to anyone with an animal mutation quirk like the two of you, they could understand what he said.

"They only plan on getting you."

Was what he meant by a single growl.

"The rest will be killed off."

You looked at him in fear and surprise. He was helping you? You could see a hint of sadness in those blue tiger eyes of his. And you knew he wasn't lying.

With the new found adrenaline, you had pushed Tora off with you quirk, making sure to knock him out, not really giving much trust in him. But you were thankful that he had said that, now you had the motive to fight.

"K-kid... (Y/n)... Don't." Aizawa groaned, struggling under the Nomu's grip. He struggled to move.

You didn't listen. You activated your quirk, eyes glowing a crimson color as familiar (y/f/c) markings formed in your arms.

You were ready to kill her off right there and then, but the nomu that held down Shinsou and Shohei was quick to stop you. It punched your side and you were sent to flying to the nearby wall.

You made a pained sound and fell to the floor, the glow you once had faded away.

"(Y/n)!" Shohei got up and jumped towards the Nomu. He dodged its punch and successfully cut off it's head. He landed right in front of you, shaking you awake as you groaned.

As Shohei took care of you, Shinsou tried to help Aizawa. "Shinsou don't-" before Aizawa could even finish, the Nomu that held him had made a swift and strong movement that sent Shinsou to hit the concrete wall that Tora had made and blacked out.

Shohei saw this. You were up, so he guessed he could leave to try and finish off the Nomu that held Aizawa.

As he ran there, Tora had woken up and got on him. Pinning him to the ground and biting him. He groaned in pain.

You were shocked and confused as to which side Tora really was. You could see in his eyes that there was regret but he still bit onto your brother's shoulder.

Maybe he was trying to keep his act together.

So you slowly got up despite the pain. You weren't going to cry or panic. No. You weren't. You told yourself that you had to be strong. For your family.

"Kid! Don't!"Aizawa struggled under the Nomu as you limped towards them.

Akane just giggled, interested on what you wanted to do.

It woukd have been a smart move to go for Akane, but you were four and you were concerned more on your family. You raised a hand and the Nomu was pushed off of Aizawa.

But it wasn't down for long. It was up and headed for you. Aizawa wasn't going to let that happen. He wrapped it with his scarf and pulled it away, since it was a bit smaller than the others.

You glared at the Nomu as it pushed Aizawa. Even if you feared not being able to control you unknown quirk, you used it anyway. The Nomu was quickly ripped to shreds as you couldn't bear the look of pain Aizawa had in his face.

You were visibly shaking and your breathing was quick. You were afraid, but you had to fight. You had to get out of there.

And save your family.

"Oh I see now." Akane smiled as you turned to her. "You've grown to care."

Aizawa didn't like how she was talking to you. Acting as if you were nothing but her little play thing.

"Stop treating her like a toy you bitch." He ran to her, eyes red and already erasing her quirk. He grabbed onto his capture weapon and  was ready to wrap her in once he gets close enough.

But he was then smashed to the ground by a much bigger Nomu.

This one had four muscled arms and a familiar beak that resembled that of the one in USJ.

Aizawa coughed out blood as he was picked up by the beast and it walked over to Akane's side.

"So you're the reason why they're so resistant." Her eyes met his crimson ones, still refusing to let her have her quirk.

Tora had kept Shohei's head on the ground and used his paw to block his sight.

Akane laughed, "give it up Eraser. Don't push yourself. You know you can't erase the Nomu's quirk. And technically, I don't plan on using mine." She waved at him as she looked at you. "Is this man the reason why you refuse to be a good girl?"

You pouted, tears welling up. You didn't want this. You didn't want any of this. All you wanted was to feel like you belonged somewhere. To feel safe and comfortable.

You wanted to be with your family, to stay with them and cherish the moments you had with them. You didn't want this.

You didn't want this.

"She is a good girl." Aizawa groaned in pain as he was smashed to the ground. Two of the nomu's arms on his sides as the other two held onto his arms. "You're just a crazy bitch."

Akane looked offended. "Oh I can be a crazy bitch and you -" she turned to you with a glare, but still had a menacing smile. "-are far from a good girl. You see all this? All this destruction? We'll its your fault." She taunted you, like she always did. She used her words against you. "You're the reason why they are in pain. Why there are people dying, suffering. Its because of you, (Y/n)." You didn't like how your name sounded when she said it.

"No you don't!" Aizawa looked at you, he had a scratch on his head and it was bleeding, like every other injury he's got on his body. "You're not what she says you are. You're a good girl. None of this is your fault."

Akane rolled her eyes. "Oh please. Do you know how many people she's killed?"

"You forced her to!" Aizawa struggled under the Nomu. It resulted with him breaking an arm and you cried out.

This caused an idea to pop up in Akane's head. "Darling, you come back to me." You shook you head, heart pounding and all sorts of emotion was running through you. "If not, this guy that you like so much will die. Want that?" She smiled at your horrified face.

No. Anything but that.

You took a step forward, prepared to make that exchange any time.

"No! No don't do it, (Y/n)!" He looked at you pleadingly.

"Let... let... go." You held back you tears, ignoring him. You didn't want him to die. You didn't want anyone to die. "Stop.. stop this... I-I wi-ill... go."

Akane's smile grew. "Yes. You come with me, and I'll stop this. Everything."

"(Y/n)-"

"Let him... go... first." You looked at him sadly. You were prepared to say good bye to him, exchange your freedom any time if it means the people you love would live.

"Sure thing, darling." She made a gestured and the Nomu threw him away, letting him stumble at a distance.

"(Y/n)!" You looked at him sadly as he tried to get up. He was trying. He was trying to get up and fight. He was trying to stop you from doing this, but the pain of it all made it so hard to move.

The tears in your eyes made him panic. No. He wasn't about to lose his kid.

"Good-bye." He looked at you as you looked at him. You had a few cuts and bruises and he was worried. Worried that you were scared, that you were in pain. His eyes welled up in tears at the sight of you looking at him. The face you made hurt his heart.

You were smiling at him.

You were smiling at him despite the fear and the pain in your eyes. You were smiling despite the tears that ran down your bruised face.

You were giving him a reassuring smile. The type of smile he always gave you in times when you were sad or upset or stressed. You were smiling at him almost as if saying 'everything would be alright'
