"Ai-za-wa." You tugged on his pants as he was in the kitchen, thinking of what to cook for you two.
After you two started living there, he's gotten this motivation to learn new recipes, just so that you can experience new types of flavors and foods.
He looked down at you, humming. "Yes, honey?" He looked down at you as you pouted, pointing at something. "What is it, (Y/n)? What's wro-"
"Dad?!" Aizawa was startled by Shohei running into the kitchen with wide eyes.
"What?" Aizawa's heart was pumping. Was the villains outside? Did they find out where you guys were living? Will they be outnumbered?
The boy pointed at the kitchen window and to the rain that poured down on the city. "I-it's raining!" Shohei's tone was a mix of excitement and fear.
Then it hit Aizawa, you guys probably have never experienced rain before. He eased down and nodded, "Yeah. It's raining." He looked at the excited look that Shohei held as the boy went to stand by the sliding door and stare at the downpour.
"Ra-a-in?"
Aizawa hummed, bringing you to the sliding door. "That's rain... it happens a few times around." He planned on teaching you how rain happens maybe when you were older and knew a lot more words.
He turned to see his son lean against the glass, fascinated by the rain. "Can we go outside?" The boy asked. "Can we? I'm curious."
Aizawa nodded and got up. "Sure. Let's just get you two into your raincoats." He bought you some just in case and he was thankful that he did, because that 'just in case' was now.
After he got you two - as well as himself- suited up, he grabbed an umbrella, you three headed out of the apartment building and got outside.
Once you were at the boarder between the apartment building and the outside world, you were gripping on Aizawa's pant leg, afraid of the continuous sound the rain made. It was relaxing, but unfamiliar to you. You didn't know what the rain could do. Maybe it was acidic. Maybe if you get were you get hurt and die.
"Its raining kinda hard... maybe we should-"
Shohei went running out and into the rain, ignoring Aizawa. He laughed and looked up at the clouded sky. He closed his eyes as he felt every droplet hit his face. There was this indescribable feeling in him as he stood there. It was so foreign yet to familiar. It was just so nice.
"Sho, you might get sick!" Aizawa called, but he could see that the boy wasn't listening. He sighed, letting him be. It was his first rainfall after all. Watching him made Aizawa smile. Even in the smallest way possible, he wanted to give you two a better future. A bright future with him.
He looked down at you as you looked at Shohei in worry. Aizawa got down to your height and gave you a little pat. "Try it... it's not that bad." He gave you a little push and a smile as you took a step forward.
Shohei spotted you, "Mochi! Come!" He smiled widely as you waddled over to him, jumping at the feeling of the rain falling down on you.
You clung onto Shohei as he giggled. "It's alright, look!" He kicked the puddle in front of him. "Isn't it fun?"
"F-un." You muttered. You heard that word before. It meant something happy. You just nodded and kicked the puddle with him.
He laughed and smiled at you as you kind of enjoyed the splashing and the feeling of the rain. It was somehow refreshing.
This new experience was something to remember.
Aizawa sighed in content as he watched his two kids play in the rain.
Idk with this pic... my cousin wanted to try and "redraw" it so here you go. Enjoy my cousin's work despite ti having my watermark hehehe
He heard a few happy giggles from some of the people watching, admiring how adorable the two of you were.
"So cute." One lady said as you two started to jump on the puddles. It was indeed adorable. "They're having so much fun, it so pure!"
"That man must be their father." Another said. "Oh his wife must be so lucky to have such a sweet man." Aizawa's lip twitched at that one.
Wife. He thought about it. He was close to having one. He really was, he just had to fuck it up. So now, looking at the two of you, he didn't want to mess this father child relationship he was creating with the two of you. He wanted to keep you two happy and safe, just like what she would have wanted for her son.
He sighed and smiled, watching the two of you enjoy such a pure moment. He brought out his phone to take a picture, even if neither of you were looking. It was still a moment to remember.
He enjoyed watching you, not really wanting to get wet as well.
That was until you slipped.
It was when Aizawa learned that he had this protective side over you. A side that would take over if anything were to happen to either of you. He'd risk anything for your safety, thag was for sure.
He ran into the rain and got to your height as Shohei got down to help you too.
Aizawa picked you up and immediately saw the scratch on your chin. He could tell the impact was quit harsh as it was bleeding and turning a bit purple.
Your looked at him, pouting as you could feel the pain. It hurt, especially since it was the chin.
"Sh sh sh." Aizawa handed the umbrella to Shohei as he gently placed a hand on your face. You flinched back, but he gave you an assuring pat. "It's ok.... don't cry." Ge said softly as he looked at the scratch. It wasn't tol bad. "Let's go back inside , alright?" He picked you up and got up. He gave Shohei an assuring smile.
"Dad, I-"
"Its not your fault." He gave the boy a pat. "She just slipped, that's all. Don't blame yourself." He watched as the boy nodded, looking down as they headed back inside.
There he cleaned up your wound and placed a big enough band aid on it, just to cover the wound.
"There, all done." He have you a small smile as you touched it.
You flinched in the pain. "Hurts." You pouted, this time gesturing to one of your hands. There were little cuts as well. He patched them up but you still looked quite sad.
He brought your scratched hand and gave it a kiss. He did the same for the chin, then one on your forehead. After so, he looked back at you, a small smile on his face.
"Does it still hurt?"
You shook your head replying a soft "No."

The next day, both you and Shohei had caught a cold. Aizawa had been walking in and out of his room to make sure everything was alright. He had Shohei stay in his bed as well, so you'd be in one place.
He prepared some soup and bought some medicine early in the morning as it was by midnight that you started having the cold and Shohei the next day.
It was a bit of a hassle, but he enjoyed it. He enjoyed taking care of you both. Tiring, yet fulfilling.
