Love Ray 2000 - Dogman x Petey

AND HERE STARTS THE Q&A ANSWERS, HOPE YOU LIKE THEM, SMOOCH.

Question:

Li'l Petey: What do you think about seeing Dog Man suspiciously in your dad's hideout every day?

Where were you... 😭 you haven't appeared since you ate the chicken curry.

Answer:

Li'l Petey: —Oh, yeah! That's really weird. I mean, Dog Man doesn't even try to hide it. He's always hanging around here like he lives in my dad's hideout. At first, I thought he was investigating something, but no. He just comes to hang out.—

—But anyway, where was I? I got abandoned. My own dad and Dog Man left me in a camp with Molly. A camp. For a month and a half.—

—We made tons of songs about diarrhea. Tons. In fact, I think we invented a new music genre. But it's not my fault, it's what happens when you leave a bunch of kids with too much free time and zero adult supervision.—

—When I got back, my dad looked grumpier than usual, and Dog Man had this suspicious big grin. But, well, the important thing is that I brought all the songs in my notebook. Do you want me to sing one?—

Question:

Dog Man: Do you like the smell of petey (motor oil)? ⭕⭕⭕

Answer:

Dog Man: Nods enthusiastically

—Yes! He smells good.—

He makes a gesture with his paws as if trying to describe something very sophisticated.

—It's like... strong but not too much. Kind of like when they fix the patrol cars at the station, but better.—

He tilts his head, thinking.

—Sometimes he also smells like ink and paper, because he's always writing or drawing things. And a bit like metal, from all his machines.—

He smiles widely.

—If it's Petey's smell, I like it.—

Question:

Did you already like Petey before he zapped you with the Love Ray 2000?

Answer:

Dog Man: Blinks and moves his ears, thinking.

—Hmm...—

He stays silent for a moment, as if processing the question with effort.

—...I think so.—

He tilts his head.

—I liked talking to him... even though he talked more than I did. It was still fun fighting with him. I liked watching him do science stuff. And when he got mad and said weird things. It was fun.—

He smiles a little.

—But I didn't know I liked him like that until the ray. It was like... boom!— Makes a gesture with his paws as if something exploded.

—And then I knew.—

Question:

Did you already like Petey before he hit you with the love ray 2000?

Answer:

Dog Man: Blinks several times, wagging his tail while thinking. He scratches his ear with a paw.

—I think... yeah, I liked him before. But I didn't know.—

He tilts his head.

—I always wanted to see him. I always wanted to be near him. Even when he growled and told me to leave him alone.—

Makes a gesture with his paws as if trying to explain something complicated.

—But I didn't think about it much. It just... happened.—

He stays silent for a moment and then nods with conviction.

—The ray just made me realize it. But it was already there.—

Question:

For Petey: Do you like Dog Man?

Answer:

Petey: Crosses his arms and his tail wags impatiently.

—Tch. Why do you care?—

He sighs and looks away, as if considering his answer.

—Look... It's not like I like him or anything. It's just that—he makes a gesture with his paw—he's an annoying dog, always getting in my life, always with that stupid smile...—

He pauses, frowns, and lowers his voice slightly.

—And... well, I guess he's not that bad.—

Awkward silence.

—But it doesn't mean anything! Stop asking stupid questions!—

Question:

For Lil Petey: What would you think if your dad and Dogman started dating?

Answer:

Li'l Petey: He opens his eyes wide and wags his tail with excitement.

—REALLY?! That would be amazing!—

He pauses, thinking.

—Well... though, if I think about it, that would mean they'd spend even more time together in the hideout... And Dog Man is already here every day.—

He tilts his head, thoughtful.

—Hmm... Does that mean we'd have family movie nights? More dinners together? Oh, oh! Maybe we could take trips, the three of us!—

His expression lights up.

—We'd be like a super cool family!—

Suddenly, he frowns slightly.

—...But wait, that also means if they have a fight, I'll be stuck in the middle!—

He dramatically places his paws on his head.

—I'll have to write a manual on "How to deal with your grumpy cat dad and your stubborn dog dad"—

Question:

To the author: what country are you from?

Answer:

I am from the best country of Chile, yay.

Question:

For Lil Petey: What would you think if Dogman and Petey started a relationship? and by the way, poor thing, how they leave him alone

Answer:

Li'l Petey: Blinks several times, processing the question.

—I feel like you're trying to tell me something...—

He crosses his arms, thoughtful.

—Well... on one hand, it would be super cute, because Dog Man makes my dad laugh more and stop growling so much! And he'd also help us keep the hideout clean because my dad's a mess!—

His expression suddenly changes to one of realization.

—But, wait! That would mean they'd be even more busy with each other... and... and they'd leave me alone!—

He dramatically places his paws over his face, again.

—I'm going to be an emotional orphan! I'll have to seek comfort in music!—

He stares off into space seriously.

—...I think it's time to write more songs about diarrhea with Molly.—

(Let's pretend this kid won't go through an emo phase hehe)

Question:

Question for dogman: do you have hair on your chest?

Answer:

Dogman: Scratches his head, thoughtful, looking ahead.

—Well, if we're talking about that... he looks down and rubs his chest with a slightly silly smile... the truth is, when my DNA mixed with Knight's...— he pauses for a moment, processing...— it turned out to be something pretty interesting!—

He shrugs.

—At first, I didn't notice, but over time, I started to realize that, somehow, hair started growing all over my body... evenly! Like I was covered in a soft layer of fuzz, covering everything from my head to my paws, without being too much.—

He smiles with a touch of pride and a little playfulness.

—So, yeah, if the DNA mix had that effect, everything turned out perfectly balanced! No hair in weird places or too much, just a nice coat all over my body. Even my chest!— He laughs softly, touching his chest as if checking it's still the same.

—You know, it also kind of reminds me of when I was just a dog... before all of this.— He laughs a little, looking down, thoughtful.

—It was so simple back then. I didn't worry about anything other than running and playing. But, over time, everything changed, and of course, it wasn't easy to adjust. But now that the hair grew, it's like everything went back to normal, and somehow it makes me feel more... like myself. —

He sighs softly, smiling as he remembers his days as a dog before the fusion.

—It's like, in some way, my body is becoming the same again... which makes me happy, even if I sometimes don't know how to explain this strange feeling. —

—It's not just about having hair, it's more about remembering those times... when I didn't have to worry about anything, just being happy. So, yeah, I'm a little glad that after a while, the hair grew. It makes me feel like, even though things have changed a lot, there's still a bit of my old self left. —

Question:

for petey: If it's basically a cat 🐱 it means that if you point a laser at him (one of those little ones at the kiosk xd) he would follow it, and he would also be scared by the cucumbers xddd

Answer:

Petey: Crosses his arms, looking away with an annoyed expression.

—It doesn't affect me in the slightest.— He shrugs and raises a paw, as if defending himself —I'm not like those cats that chase lasers or get scared by cucumbers, that doesn't make sense! I'm a... a superior type of cat, so to speak.—

He looks up, challenging anyone who questions him, as if he's completely sure of his words.

Dogman: Suddenly enters the scene with a laser in his paw, looking at Petey with a mischievous grin.

—Hey Petey, are you sure about what you just said? Because...— He raises the laser and points it toward a corner of the room.

Petey: Quickly turns toward Dogman, a little uncomfortable —No... Don't do that!— He raises a paw trying to stop him, but the laser is already starting to move around the room.

Dogman: Smiles while moving the laser around the room, causing Petey, despite his efforts, to follow it with his eyes —Are you sure it doesn't affect you?—

Petey: Suddenly starts moving involuntarily toward the laser, his eyes fixed on the red dot, but then stops abruptly, trying to regain control. —I'm not... I'm not chasing it! This is just...!— But his paws start moving toward the laser uncontrollably.

Dogman: Laughs softly while moving the laser a little faster. —You're doing great, Petey!—

Petey: Finally, gives in, jumping toward the laser with a frustrated look —Dammit! I told you it doesn't affect me!— But he can't stop himself, and his attitude changes as he realizes he is actually following it. —This is a trap!—

Dogman: Keeps laughing while letting Petey chase the laser, enjoying the reaction.

Petey: With a mix of frustration and amusement as he chases the laser —This makes no sense! This is outrageous!— But stops for a second, looking at Dogman. —You know what?— Sighs —Maybe... just maybe... I do like it, but only a little...—

He finally stops, sighing, defeated.

Question:

For the author: What country are you from and do you prefer dogs or cats?

Answer:

HELLO, I'm from Chilee. The truth is I like both but I have my cat looking at me, so I am forced to say cats.

Question:

for dogman: are your feelings real?

Answer:

Dogman: Looks seriously at the person asking the question, his ears slightly back as if he is carefully considering the answer.

—Of course they're real.— Pauses, his voice sounding firm yet sincere— I'm not the type of dog to say something without thinking it through, especially when it comes to how I feel about someone. And what I feel for Petey isn't a fantasy or something fleeting. It's real, beyond anything.— Smiles softly— I've spent time with him, and even though it took me a while to understand everything at first, now I know that what I feel is the most real thing I've ever experienced.—

Dogman steps forward, his eyes reflecting a calm determination

—What I feel for Petey is authentic, and no matter how silly or unexpected it may seem.—

Question:

To Petey: Why don't you admit your feelings for Dogman?

Answer:

Petey: Crosses his arms, looking away, trying to appear indifferent but with a slight blush on his cheeks.

—Admit my feelings? Me? I don't know what you're talking about.— Tries to change the subject, his voice a little louder than usual —I have nothing to admit. It's just... it's complicated, you know?—

His eyes blink nervously, and his tone softens a little —It's not easy opening up to someone, especially when you've been alone for so long. It's like letting someone get close means risking getting hurt.—

Finally, he sighs, knowing he's being a little dishonest —But...— he bites his lip, as if weighing his words —I can't deny that Dogman is important to me. I don't know how to define it, and that scares me.—

Question:

for lil petey: where are you... you've been missing half fanfic

Answer:

Li'l Petey: Appears with a somewhat embarrassed expression.

—Oh, I see...— he sighs and runs a hand through his hair —So I disappeared in the middle of the fanfic, huh? Well, the thing is, I was at a camp with Molly.— he smiles

—They left us there, alone, with a bunch of songs and stuff. But you know, all that distracted me a little from what was going on at my dad's lair. I didn't realize how much I had missed until... well, now I'm back.—

—But don't worry! I'm here to answer all your questions!— he nods with determination.

To the author: how are you? all good?

Question:

To the author: how are you? all good?

Answer:

Hello, everything is fine. Today I went to eat something with my favorite gay and well, my stomach was full and my heart was happy.

For Dogman: What do you think about Petey? How do you see him? Do you like him? Do you see him as a rival or how? Could you explain it?

Question:

For Dogman: What do you think about Petey? How do you see him? Do you like him? Do you see him as a rival or how? Could you explain it?

Answer:

Dogman: Scratches his head thoughtfully, looking ahead as if searching for the right words.

—Well,— he smiles widely —Petey... is, uh... complicated. Sometimes he can be a little... grumpy, you know? But deep down...— he shrugs —he has his charm. He's really smart, has that "I don't care" attitude, but sometimes it makes me think he's just protecting himself from everything he feels.—

—I don't see him as a rival. Even though he doesn't believe it, I really care about him.— he takes a moment to think —As for how I see him, I'd say he's more like... someone who really needs a friend, even if he won't admit it.—

—It's weird, because sometimes it seems like he doesn't like me, but other times... well, maybe— he smiles again, looking at Petey who's nearby —he's got me a little closer than he wants to admit.—

—A rival? Nah... even though he sometimes acts like one, he's not. Petey has something special, and that's what keeps me from giving up on him.— he smiles confidently.

Question:

For Petey: What about Li'l Petey? He seems to be missing, and also, what do you think about Dogman and how do you see him?

Answer:

Petey: Frowns and sighs, crossing his arms, as if thinking about how to respond.

—Li'l Petey is fine... you know, he was at that camp with Molly, doing kid stuff...— he shrugs —I don't know much about what he's doing now, but he's probably busy with one of his songs about poop.—

—As for Dog Man...— his eyes soften a bit, but he quickly regains his indifferent attitude —Well... what can I say? He's a dog, a dog who insists on sticking his nose where it doesn't belong. Sometimes he gets on my nerves with his "super positive attitude" and his obsession with saving the day.— his tone becomes more sarcastic —But it's not like I can get rid of him, right? He always shows up, and even though it seems like nothing bothers him, somehow he always has an answer for everything.—

—I don't see him as a threat or anything like that, if that's what you're asking. But,— pauses for a moment,— yeah, he has something that... bothers me but also...— hesitates a bit, unsure of how to express it —Well, let's say that sometimes... he makes me think that maybe it's not so bad to have him around. But I won't admit that out loud, okay?— laughs nervously

—The last thing I want is to be the center of all that "doggy kindness." But, well,— shrugs — he's here, and that has its... value, I guess.—

Question:

For Big Jim: How did you feel when you saw Dogman and Petey "flirting" (so to speak), did you feel uncomfortable?

Answer:

Big Jim: Scratches his head with his paw, trying to look serious, though his tone is somewhat forced

—Well,— pauses, thinking carefully —it's not that I feel uncomfortable, it's just... it's a little weird, right? I mean, we're talking about a cat and a dog!— grimaces —It's...— stops for a second, trying to find the right word... —unusual, but at the same time, it's not something that surprises me that much. If Dog Man and Petey are... well, doing that... it's none of my business, you know?—

—But yeah, I have to admit it was a bit hard to process at first. I'm not exactly the type of person who feels comfortable with these things— scratches his ear, —but, well... if Petey's happy, I guess that's the important thing. Although...— looks at the horizon with a confused expression —sometimes I wonder how my stomach feels about it. Not that I care, but it's...— grimaces again —weird.—

—So, in short, no, I don't feel uncomfortable... just,— lets out a nervous laugh —a little confused.—

Question:

For Li'l Petey: How good do you think Dogman's food is? And Petey's?

Answer:

Li'l Petey: Puts on a thoughtful expression while scratching his head —Well... Dogman's food,— laughs —it's not that it's bad, but... it's just from a can and straight to the plate. There's not much to it, you know? You just open it, put it on the plate, and that's it.— shrugs

Pauses as if thinking seriously —But my dad's food... that's a whole different story.— smiles with pride —It's the best in the world! Well, that's what I think, because, of course, I'm his son and all that. But seriously, it has a special touch. Every bite feels like the universe decided to make the perfect dish just for me. In fact, I can't even imagine anyone else cooking better than him.—

Shrugs again —Although... I know Dogman tries. But for now, my dad's food is still number one.—

Comment:

(By the way, to the creator, greetings, I love your story)

Answer:

HII! Aww, these kinds of comments really make me happy, it's nice to know people enjoy the ideas I come up with mfmf.

Question:

For the author: I love how you write your stories, they are really good 😊. Do you plan to write more Detey stories?

Answer:

Ishh, you're making me blush, I'm really happy that you enjoy the story as much as I do.

ANDDD YES, I have one in mind, it would be based on Killing Stalking but called Killing & Barking. I posted a drawing about the idea on Twitter hehe (I go by Er0Y0han there) in case you're curious..

I should mention though, it wouldn't be as soft as this one, I think I'm going to have to put warnings for violence and other +18 content.

Question:

I'm just asking out of question but will you add smut I really don't care if you didn't but I'm still wondering (sorry if the question weirded you out if it did)

Answer:

Well... maybe, I hadn't really thought about it since I'm writing the chapters day by day... maybe after all the drama with these gays or for something like a special. I can only say that if there are obscenities, well... it'll take a while.

Question:

And I'm also wondering who will be the dominate in the relationship is it dogman or petey

Answer:

Dogman, without a doubt, Dogman. I love when the grumpy character is the submissive one.

Question:

When will they kiss👉👈I really need them to kiss🥲

Answer:

Dogman: Scratches his head, somewhat confused

—Hmm... I don't know, whenever the script decides? I'm not very good at these things, but... if Petey agrees, I think it could be something... enjoyable.—

Petey: Crosses his arms, looking at Dogman with a mix of irritation and some discomfort —Are you really asking that? I...!— Pauses, looking at Dogman with a frown —Well, I don't know. Maybe one day, if it happens... but don't expect me to give you an exact date.—

The two remain silent, with an air of tension, and it seems there is no definitive answer... at least for now.
