Chapter 47

Skylar's POV

I am so happy to finally be awake after all this time being asleep and

imprisoned. It feels so good to be able to touch and hold my mate

close to me. Jace has been spending basically every waking moment

with me while I recovered and got my strength back because sleeping

for like 3 months puts a lot of stress on the body. Today is the day I am

finally being released from here to be able to go back to the house my

mate and pack are staying in right now since I am still not strong

enough to go home yet even though the doctor said I should be strong

enough to go home very soon as long as I get plenty of rest and don't

push my body to much then I'll be strong enough to go home in at

least a week.

I was sitting in the living room of the house while Jace was in the

kitchen fixing us something for lunch when there was a knock on the

door. Before I can even get up to go and answer it I see Jace run from

the kitchen giving me a smile before going and answering the door.

"Oh why hello Alpha Jason and hello Sebastian come on in Skylar is in

the living room" Jace greets them before following them to the living

room.

"Skylar this is Alpha Jason he was the one who helped us take down

Vance and get you back and this is Sebastian he helped to wake you up

from the sleeping potion” Jace says as he introduces the 2 men to me

"Hello Alpha, Sebastian, Alpha thank you so much for your help in

taking him down and rescuing me and thank you Sebastian for being

able to help wake me up from that nightmare” I greet and thank the

both of them

"I owe you both a life debt that I know I will never be able to fulfill but I

do hope I can one day. I would love to keep the both of you as allies

from now on and if either one of you needs anything at all I would like

you to know you can call on us and we will always be there to help.” I

say to them as I am extremely grateful for all of their help in my rescue

and my awakening.

"We would like that very much and we are glad you are awake and

doing good. We just came over for a quick visit to make sure you were

all right and weren't having effects from the potion or anything and we

will always be allies from now on and if you ever need help don't

hesitate to call on us again we will always come and help you out.”

Alpha Jason says as Sebastian nods his head in agreement before he

walks over to me and sits beside me.

"I would like for you to sit still as I check to make sure there is nothing

left lingering from all the magic that was used on you." Sebastian says

and I do as he says and sit completely still for him as his hands glow a

nice light blue colour as they hover and slowly make their way down

my body starting at my head and ending at my feet and back up again.

Once he was done he sat there for a few moments before a small smile

spread across his face which makes me let out the breath I didn't realize

I was holding from the anticipation.

"There doesn't seem to be any magic lingering from the sleeping

potion or from anything I did to wake you up from it which is good.

Sometimes normal wolves would have some sort of side effect but

since you aren't a normal wolf you seem to be able to heal a lot faster

and more efficiently which is good and I'm glad to finally meet you in

person.” Sebastian tells me making me smile and hug him

"Thank you so, so, so much for everything I really appreciate all the help

you both gave us and I will be eternally grateful for you both. I can't

wait to work with you in the future and hopefully on better

circumstances then me being kidnapped and put under some spell” I

say giving a little laugh about everything as I try to hold back my tears.

"We look forward to it too and you and your pack are always welcome

on my lands and I hope to have you both here with your daughter for a

visit in the future. It was lovely to finally meet you and see you doing so

well but unfortunately I have some business to attend to that needs

Sebastian's help and so we both bid you farewell for now and to take

care and take it easy until you get your strength back” Alpha Jason says

before bowing his head to me and Jace before he turned to leave with

Sebastian giving us each a small smile before he followed Jason out the

doors and Jace comes back with 2 plates of food that are loaded up

with 2 burgers each along with french fries and onion rings. I watch as

he sets the plates down in front of us and as I stare at the delicious

smelling food practically drooling Jace takes the remote and puts a

movie on Netflix for us to watch as we dug into our food. I ended up

eating my entire plate of food and about half of Jace's as well knowing

he didn't mind since I was hungry and it was helping me build up my

strength.

I've been awake for about a week and a half now and I have finally built

up enough strength to start doing basic exercises which meant that we

could go home any time now. I was laying in bed looking through all

the pictures and videos of our little girl and I almost didn't recognize

her since she was so big. Jace finished his shower and walked out in

some boxers as he climbed into the bed behind me wrapping his arms

around my waist as he left kisses up and down my neck making me

place the phone down and turn around in his arms and kiss him deep

and passionately.

"Have you heard from Jasper or Lucy or Lucas or anyone from the pack

back home lately?" I ask worriedly

"No I haven't heard from anyone in a while which has me worried and

wanting to go back home as soon as we can.” he replies to me

"Well I am better now so why don't we pack up our things and head

home tomorrow I would really like to be home since I've been away for

way too long and I want to hold my little girl in my arms and never let

her go." I tell him which makes him smile.

"Definitely I will let the others know to be packed and ready to go

home tomorrow" he says kissing me deep and rough before linking the

pack to tell them to be packed before we fell asleep in each others

arms. We wake up early and pack what little the both of us had in

record time since we are both very eager to get back home. We walk

down stairs and see everyone standing there with happy expressions at

seeing their Luna alive and well again as we all head outside and see

Alpha Jason waiting for us with a few vehicles to drive us to the airport

to see us off.

The drive to the airport was very long and I slept most of the way and

once we got to the tarmac our warriors took all the luggage and put it

on the the plane while we talked with Alpha Jason.

"It was very kind of you to help us we really appreciate everything you

did for us and don't hesitate to call upon us for anything even for a visit

since you and your pack will always be welcome there. Oh and please

tell Candy thank you for everything she did for me for if not for her I

would not have lasted that long” I tell him before giving him a quick

hug

"It was nothing and I know you would do the same for us and I am glad

to have such strong allies with the Night Shade Pack. If i ever need you

I won't hesitate to ask and I promise to visit once you are settled in and

have had enough time to spend with your little one and 1 will let her

know since her and her mate, my beta haven't left their room really

since we rescued you both from that place. Have a safe flight and let

me know when you get home so I know you got there in one piece and

didn't run into any trouble on the way" Alpha Jason says with a smile as

he returns my hug and gives Jace some bro hug thing that men do

making me smile and laugh. We get on the plane and head home but

nothing could have prepared us for what we would find when we got

there.
