Chapter 34

Vance's POV

Skylar has been a complete pain in the ass with her escape attempts

during the months she has been here. Even though I have warned her

against it she kept it up and so I had no choice but to punish her every

time she did something wrong like attacking a guard. I am pretty sure

she is starting to come around as she has become a little more docile

lately but I am keeping my guard up with her knowing that it might just

be a rouse to try and escape again. I don't like it when my toys fight

back it makes me very angry especially knowing that her mate is

looking for her and will not stop until he finds her.

I told her maid Candy to let her out of her cage and bathe her and

make her look presentable for me as I was going to spend some time

with her later. I was making my way to her room which she is no longer

allowed to leave since her last escape attempt and since every she-wolf

seems to have a grudge against her and have been attacking her and

trying to kill her to prove themselves better then her to me. I have

executed every single one of them that has touched my toy, she is mine

to touch only and she will die when I say not when someone else does

just because they are jealous.

I bump into Candy who asks me where I am off to in such a hurry. I tell

her I am going to Skylar's room and she looks at me with an odd

expression when she clears her throat before she speaks to me again

"Master I don't think you should see her right now since she had fallen

asleep once she was bathed a dressed. I would let her sleep seeing as

she hasn't had any proper sleep in days." Candy informs me.

I listen to what she says intently and then I think it all over before I

reply back to her.

"I see well then I guess I should let her get some sleep will you please

inform me right away when she has awoken from her slumber and

make sure to bring her a nice big meal once she is awake I know she

hasn't had any proper food in a long time." I reply back to her as she

smiles at me and nods her head to me before going back to the task

she was doing. Since I can no longer go and see my toy since she is

sleeping I decide I will go outside and go for a run instead to kill some

time and to let my wolf out and blow off some steam since he has been

very agitated lately for some reason.

Jace's POV

We finally make it to the airport and get on the plane as our luggage is

brought on bored I go to the back of the plane where there is a little

room with a bed and I lay down and sleep hoping it will make this flight

seem shorter. I fall asleep just as we take off and I dream of my mate

just like every night since she was taken away from me. I awoke with a

start from the nightmare I had of an unknown wolf attacking and killing

my mate in front of me. I wake up and walk out into the front of the

plane and join my pack mates there and grab a nice stiff drink of

whiskey to help get rid of the dream I had just had.

"Jeez Jace you look like shit” I hear Dalton my gamma say to me with a

slight chuckle.

I look over to him and smile as I give him my best come back, "I might

look like shit but I still look better then you do” I say making everyone

laugh at the burn I just gave him as he pouts and mutters incoherent

things under his breath. But I notice the slight smile playing on his lips

at my comeback knowing he was trying to cheer me up and it actually

worked a little bit. We finally land in Atlanta and are greeted by Alpha

Jason from the Blue Willow Pack he is very friendly towards us as he has

his men put our things in the cars and as we all get in the vehicles and

make our way to their pack house which is about 2 hours outside of

town making it 4 and a half hours away from the airport. I get settled

into my seat and try my best to sleep most of the time in the car until

we are about 20 minutes from the pack house.

We drive past the pack house and down the road a little farther and

stop at a house that is slightly smaller then the pack house. I look over

at Alpha Jason confused as to why we were here instead of the pack

house. He lightly chuckles at me and gives me a pat on the shoulder

before he gets out as I follow suit with everyone else exiting the

vehicles behind us.

"This is the guest house I had prepared for you and your men Alpha

Jace. I figured you wouldn't be all that comfortable being cramped in

the very busy pack house and I also figured you would also want your

privacy which is why I had this house prepared with clean bedding and

towels and some clothes and the kitchen is also fully stocked and if you

ever need anything don't hesitate to let me know." Alpha Jason informs

me which impresses me knowing I would do the same thing for a

visiting Alpha at my pack.

"Thank you Alpha you are very kind and thoughtful and we have a lot

to discuss.” I reply back to him

"Yes we do have lots to talk about but not tonight. Tonight is for you to

relax and get settled and enjoy a nice big dinner. Tomorrow we can talk

and think of a plan to get your mate and to finally take down that

sociopathic Alpha who thinks the world belongs to him and he can take

everything and anyone he wants to.” He says back to me I nod in

agreement as my pack grabs their things and heads into the house to

get settled and washed up and changed before we go to the main pack

house for a very nice dinner and relaxation before we get down to

business tomorrow even though I would rather be getting down to

business tonight even I have to learn to relax every now and then and I

haven't since Skylar was taken from me.
