Chapter 30

Vance's POV

I had dispatched 3 of my best men to go and retrieve what was

rightfully mine. I had told them to set the rogues in motion for the best

distraction for them to be able to slip in the territory and get her and

finally bring her to me. They left 2 days ago and should be getting close

if not already be at the Dark Moon Pack. I hate waiting for news about

her since I had been waiting and for her for so long now. I've been

waiting for news for 3 days now and I am starting to get very impatient

and just wanting my prize to be here.

Finally my beta Jake reached out and told me that they got the girl. I

told them to get to the airstrip where my jet was waiting for them to

bring her to me. I had given them wolfsbane laced with a sedative to

inject her with so that she had no clue where she was going and

couldn't give her so called mate any kind of directions or answers to

where she was or where to find her. I will not let anyone come in

between her and I, we were destined to be together forever and I will

not let some so called mate to come in and wreck everything.

“Alpha Vance we are on the ground at the airstrip and should be at the

mansion in a few hours’ Jake my beta linked me

“Finally I have everything set up for your arrival. I also have everything

set up for her so when you get here I will have Candy bring you to her

room’ I link him back

“Copy that Alpha’ Jake replies

I wait around for another 4 hours until they have finally arrived safely

and with my most prized possession. I made sure to have one of the

friendlier maids attend to my goddess seeing as none of the other ones

wanted to be around her as I believed they would cause her harm and I

trusted Candy more. It is almost dinner time and I know Candy is

getting my goddess ready but since I know she would not like to be

here willingly I have taken some precautions making sure that she stays

with me and stays weak until she finally accepts her fate and place

beside me. Candy came and told me that she was in her seat at the

table and was waiting for me to join her for dinner so I finished getting

ready and made my way to the dinning room.

Skylar's POV

As I was sitting there chained to my chair admiring the paintings

around me since it was the only think I could do in my current state. I

heard on of the big wooden doors open and looked over to see a man

who was about 6'5 wearing a dark grey suit. He had a short blowout

with tapered side style haircut which was a relaxed yet a contemporary

kind of style and pairing it with the tapered sides gave it a nice overall

clean and sharp edge making him look very handsome and nice. This

man had a very demanding and dangerous air about him setting me on

edge as he walked over to the table and sat in the chair across from

me. I knew that this man was an alpha by the way he carried himself

and demanded attention and respect when he walked into a room

"Who are you and why am I here?" I ask as my curiosity is starting to

get the better of me.

"I am Vance Adams. I am the Alpha here and you my love are my mate

and the Luna of this pack now.” He says with a sly grin spread across his

features

"But I already have a mate and I'm the Luna of the Night Shade Pack.” I

retort

He scoffs at what I said as a bit of anger starts to seep into his features

as he sits there and stares at me while probably trying to calm his

emotions as he thinks of what to say to me next.

We sit in silence until the food is served and the look and smell of

everything had my mouth watering and my stomach growling. The man

across of me watches me intently to see what I will do as I try to reach

for some roast seeing as I just can't reach it I sigh and sit back in my

chair. The man who took me laughs before getting up and grabbing my

plate and loading it up with lots of the roast, veggies, mashed potatoes

and gravy before placing it in front of me. He makes himself a plate

before finally sitting down to continue to watch me as I look at him in

confusion as to why he made my plate for me instead of watching me

struggle and laugh at me.

"Dig in my lovely" he tells me while he stares at me watching my every

move like I'm something special to look at and watch. I grab the fork

and knife and cut myself a bite of the roast and put it in my mouth. As

soon as it hit my taste buds explosions of flavor danced around my

mouth as I savored the delicious bite of roast. I glanced up at the man

who still hadn't taken a single bite but instead watched me as I

shovelled food into my mouth very unladylike like but I didn't care I

was starving and it didn't seem to bother the man as he just sat there

taking small bites every now and again but mostly watched me eat.

I ate 2 plates full of food and my stomach was so full it hurt. His

servants came in and cleared the table and gave it a quick wipe before

placing pastries and desserts along with coffee and tea. I grabbed a tea

cup and poured myself some tea and grabbed an apple strudel along

with a few macarons to nibble on while we sat in an uncomfortable

silence. As I sipped on my tea and nibbled on the very delicious

desserts I heard someone come in and walk over to the man across

from me and whisper something to him making him frown.

"I'm sorry my dear but I have to go and attend to a few matters.” He

says to me as he stands and quickly smooths out the wrinkles from his

suit before he turns to leave behind the other man.

"Excuse me sir" I say cautiously

"Yes my dear?" the man replies

"Can I at least know the name of the man who kidnapped me from my

family?" I ask sternly clearly getting annoyed with him and with being

here and not being with my family.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt my name is Vance, Vance Adams" he replies

back before leaving the room to go goddess knows where.

Candy walks over to me as I sit there staring at the door that Vance had

went through. Candy unlocked the chain that was around my waist

letting me get up finally. I stood up and nearly fell over as my legs were

still wobbly from the wolfsbane injection I had gotten. Candy came over

and wrapped an arm around my waist as I had an arm around her

shoulders so I could brace myself against her to keep myself from

falling over.

We finally get to the room where I sank down on the bed glad to finally

be in here and away from that psycho. It felt like it took us forever to

walk from the dining room to my bedroom prison even though it was

only like a 10 minute walk. I heard Candy walk around the room

grabbing me another towel and running me another bath that she

helped me into. As I sat in the bathtub she left me to relax for a little

while as she went to grab me some pajamas and some tea that I asked

her for. When she came back she helped me wash the makeup off and

helped me out of the tub. I wrapped the nice fluffy towel around myself

and dried my body off before I grabbed the pajamas that she had left

for me in the bathroom.

As I grabbed the clothes from the chair in front of the mirror I noticed

that there was barely any fabric to the clothes that Candy had gotten

for me and what fabric there was was very sheer. I slid on the top that

barely covered my breasts and when I put the bottoms on they were so

tight and short that they looked like underwear. I realized that I was

wearing lingerie and I felt very uncomfortable wearing something like

this that wasn't for my mate. Wondering why I was given these to sleep

in made a knot form in my stomach as I wondered what was going to

happen to me tonight. I walked out of the bathroom and into the rest

of the room and sat on the bed as I pulled the soft comforter over me

to try and hide what I was wearing from prying eyes.

I sat in the room staring at the wall for what felt like an hour before

Candy had come back in to check on me and give me my tea and she

also brought me a bottle of water. She set the drinks on the nightstand

that was beside my bed as I grabbed the tea cup and took a small sip

and was surprised when it was very tasty and wasn't overly hot. I

finished the tea in no time and I noticed that Candy was holding

something. I looked at her in fear of the needle knowing it what it

contained but I had this strange feeling it held more then just

wolfsbane.

"Please I won't try anything. I won't try to run. Just please don't inject

me with what ever is in there." I plead to Candy trying to gain some

sympathy from the young girl.

"I'm sorry miss but if I don't do this then the master will be very angry

with me and I will be punished severely for not following orders. Please

go along with what he wants and don't try to fight him and you won't

get hurt. He likes when people fight back against him because he is

sadistic and likes to punish people for the littlest things. I really am

sorry and I wish I didn't have to do this but I am your best chance at

survival in this place miss" Candy says quickly as she sticks the needle in

my arm and pushes the plunger down injecting me with the cold

burning liquid. I could feel it coursing through my body as my eyelids

suddenly became very heavy and I fell into a very deep dreamless sleep.
