Chapter 18

Skylar's POV

After our transformations we went back to the cabin and went to sleep

and I dreamt about the four elements and a few other symbols and

then my dream changed. I was surrounded by blackness when all of a

sudden I hear a baby crying so I decide to follow the sound looking

around to try and find the crying baby but I can't find it all I can see is

black before I awake with a start as I run to the bathroom and throw up

everything that was in my system which wasn't much since we had

been asleep for like a day and a half. I flush the toilet, brush my teeth

and wash my face before I head back into my bedroom and see Jace

sitting there staring at me looking concerned.

"Are you alright love, you've been getting sick on and off for a while

now should we call the pack doctor and get you checked out?" Jace

asks me looking very concerned with my well being.

"No don't call the pack doctor all the way out here I'm sure I'll be fine, it

was probably just from the stress of the transformation” I say to him

trying to convince him I really was alright even though part of me didn't

even believe a word I told him. I grabbed a towel and went into the

shower to wash off the smell of dirt and sweat. When I was finished I

wrapped my towel around me and when I looked at my reflection in the

mirror I noticed something that wasn't there before. In the middle of

my chest I noticed I had a black heart with a red star in the middle of it

as I stood there staring at it and touching it I realize it looks like Jace's

and like the mark my wolf had on her chest. I leave my bathroom and

get dressed in a black lace bra with matching panties, a black tank top

with a white skull and red rose on it, and some black jogging pants

before I leave my room and head for the kitchen knowing that's where

Jace was. As I round the corner and go into the kitchen I find Jace

getting out drinks and some snacks for our TV and movie day, when he

hears me come into the kitchen he turns around and looks right at my

chest and the mark that was suddenly there.

"Nice mark it's the same one your wolf had on her chest the other night

and it's similar to mine" Jace says to me lifting his shirt up to show me a

similar mark on his chest. The only difference was that his mark was a

bright red star with a black heart in the middle of it.

"It's the opposite of mine. I guess it makes sense since we are mates

and all" I say checking out my gorgeous mates mark and his sexy ass

body before he finally puts his shirt down and we head into the living

room to spend the day together while the twins are out doing some

grocery shopping and getting other things they want or need

We spend all day together lounging around the cabin watching TV and

movies and going for the occasional walk outside. I go to reach for my

glass of water and take a drink out of it, when nothing comes out I look

at the cup and realize it's frozen solid. I sat there staring at the cup for a

little bit before it melts and steam is coming off of it. All of a sudden it

dawns on me that I can control the elements. I look over to Jace to tell

him when I see him looking at me with the same shocked expression on

his face as he was watching what I was doing. He grabs the cup from

me and makes the water start to boil and then he makes it start to cool

and eventually freezes it solid as he turns the glass upside down and

turning it this way and that examining his handy work as a grins at me.

"Hey cool we can control the elements this is awesome" he says

grinning widely at me

"Yeah this is going to make pranking people even more fun and make it

a lot easier to pull some pranks off and to make doing some things

easier as well.” I smile back at him laughing. For the past 2 weeks we

stayed at the cabin getting the hang of our wateryice, fire, wind, and

earth powers. At least everyday I would prank the twins at least once to

get them back for the stuff they would try to pull on me. Jace and I also

noticed that we had even better eyesight, hearing and sense of smell

which will come in handy. Once Jace and I were confident that we were

in complete control of our powers we packed up our things and

headed back to the pack house.

V's POV

A little over 3 weeks ago my little spy informed me that my special little

Skylar had completed the mating process with the disgusting so called

mate of hers. I wished I would be the one to mate with her to bring her

powers forth but oh well. Once I found that out I knew that she would

be going through her transformation on the next full moon which was

in about 3 weeks from now. I had already left them a note warning

them I would claim her as mine and I plan on making good on that

threat soon, I just have to figure out a way to get rid of that mate of

hers somehow because once he is gone she will be free to be claimed

by another wolf and I will claim her mind, body and soul and she will be

the one to bear my pups as soon as her bond to him is gone and she’s

in my grasp.

Three weeks later my spy had informed me that Skylar was taken from

the pack house and was brought somewhere far from the others so that

she couldn't accidentally hurt anyone so I told my spy to inform me

once they had returned. I've been waiting around for word of their

return for 2 weeks now and I finally hear that they are back and now I

can set my plans into motion. Seeing as it's going to take some time to

get things ready to be able to claim Skylar Rose the legendary Hell

Hound herself as mine and I will have her for all of eternity.
