Chapter 17

Skylar's POV

After we left the pack house I fell asleep in the car and then I had

someone yell wakey wakey at me scaring the fucking shit out of me

making me scream. That's when I seen the twins rolling around on the

ground laughing their asses off at me making me glare daggers at

them for this prank.

"I nearly had a fucking heart attack and mark my words I will get you

both back when you least expect it" I say to them with the most evil

grin on my face that I could muster before I went to the door way and

kissed my mate who was laughing at the scared twins before I headed

to my room to unpack my things. Once all my clothes and things were

put away I walked out into the living room looking for the boys when I

hear a series of grunts, groans, ow's, and other profanities and no fairs

coming from outside. I walk into the kitchen and look through the

window and I see Jace, Jasper, and Alex all wrestling each other at once

and Jace winning against them and the twins whining about him

cheating somehow and how it's not fair that he wins all the time against

them.

As I was standing there laughing at them I suddenly start to feel sick

and run into my bathroom and vomit everything I had eaten today.

When I was finished I flushed the toilet, brushed my teeth and went

back to the kitchen to grab a bottle of water from the fridge to sip on

while I layed on the couch watching TV while the boys enjoyed

themselves outside. Thinking to myself as I watched the big bang

theory I couldn't wait for this transformation bullshit to be over with so

I could stop feeling so sick all the time. There was something bothering

me about it considering it's been happening off and on over the past 3

weeks and part of me doesn't think it's the upcoming full moon and

transformation that's been causing me to be sick.

It's our second day at the cabin and tonight is the full moon, so while

Jace and the twins run around the house getting things ready I just

watched them and laughed at them all day long seeing as they

wouldn't let me help in any way shape or form. After we finished eating

dinner the sun was starting to set so we all headed out into a little

clearing about a 5 minute walk from the cabin and when we got there I

saw strings of twinkling lights hanging from the trees and a giant picnic

blanket set out with drinks and snack on a nearby table and we all go

and sit on the blanket and watch the sun set and prepare ourselves for

what is to come when the full moons rises into the night sky.

Enjoying my time with my mate and the twins I sat there and watched

the boys goof off having fun and just enjoying themselves for once. I

guess I must have dozed off watching them because the next thing I

know the twins are panicking and I see Jace doubled over clearly in

pain and that's when I realize that it's time. I run over to him and

command the twins to back away to the blanket.

"It's okaii babe it's all going to be okay. You are going to get through

this and it's all going to be over soon" I coo at him while rubbing his

back trying to ease some of his pain. As I look at him panting I realize

that he's starting to glow, his skin is literally glowing a golden colour

and then he starts to shift into his wolf. His wolf which is normally a

pure midnight black colour, but now his wolf was 2 times bigger then

he used to be and he was now a golden wolf with a black tail, ears, and

paws. When he finishes shifting and is laying there I run up to him and

put his wolfs giant head in my lap and when he looks at me and I see

his eyes I gasp seeing as they aren't the light blue they used to be now

they were a very bright purple colour. When he lifts his head to stand

up and shake out his fur I notice he has a bright red star with a black

heart in the middle of it on his chest.

"Baby you're gorgeous and a lot bigger then you used to be." I say to

him while petting his giant head when he all of a sudden licks my face,

I'm guessing in approval to what I said to him as I squeal from him

licking my face. I then notice that the golden glow he was emitting

slowly starting to fade and then next thing I know I'm laying on the

ground screaming in pain as my transformation finally begins sending

waves of pain throughout my body.

Jace's POV

Today I wouldn't let Skylar do anything, I wanted her to conserve her

energy knowing that she hadn't been feeling very well lately, plus the

transformation was going to take a lot out of her. While me and the

guys ran around getting things ready and done I could hear Skylar

laughing at us every now and then when we would trip or hurt

ourselves. Once everything was done and set up we ate dinner and

went out to the little clearing that was like a 5 minute walk from the

cabin. I had the twins set up a giant picnic blanket for us all to sit on

and I set up all the twinkling lights in the trees turning the boring

clearing into a beautiful and romantic setting, then the twins set up a

table with a bunch of drinks and snacks for us to have while we enjoy

the evening until the moon rises and Skylar and I go through our

transformations.

We've been out here for a couple hours now and the guys and I were

goofing off and just having fun trying to kill time, when I glance over at

Skylar I see her sound asleep on the blanket from watching us run

around like dorks. I sit down next to her and relax and watch Jasper and

Alex goof off even more for the next 2 hours. I finally get bored sitting

here and get up to show them what true strength looked like and

wrestled with Alex when all of a sudden my whole body was wracked

with pain and I knelt down on the ground doubled over from the pain.

Next thing I know Skylar is by my side rubbing my back and saying

soothing things to me trying to help ease some of the pain going

through my body right now, when all of a sudden I grow and start

shifting into my wolf and it hurts so much it feels like when a young

wolf shifts for the first time.

Once I'm done shifting I lay there panting when Skylar puts my head on

her lap gently petting my head and saying that I was gorgeous so I

licked her face making her squeal like a little kid. As she's staring at me

she falls over and starts screaming in pain as her transformation begins.

As soon as I hear her scream I shift back into my human form noticing

that I still had my clothes on before I grab Skylar and sit her on my lap

as I hold her and stroke her cheek with my thumb as I talk to her.

"It's going to be alright baby, just hang in there the pain will go away I

promise. Just be strong for me baby I can't lose you. You are my life I

love you so much darling. I know it hurts but I know you can make it

through this.” I coo at her trying to lessen her pain as much as I could

have in that moment. Then as I see the pain slightly subside she crawls

away from me as she starts to glow a brilliant red colour and just like

me she starts to shift into her blood red wolf. I watch as her wolf takes

form except for the fact that she is now 2 times bigger then she used to

be and I'm guessing we are probably around the same size now in wolf

form that is. Now before this transformation her wolf used to be a

bright red with black highlights but now she was completely a bright

blood red colour with black ears, tail and paws.

Once her wolf was fully transformed she sank to the ground panting

not quite able to hold herself up right now. I walked over to her and

put my hand on her head letting her know it was me before I sat down

beside her and put her head on my lap. When I looked into her eyes

and they weren't the reddish gold they once were now they were a

bright purple colour, and on her chest I saw she had a black heart with

a red star in the middle of it on her chest. She lifted her head to look at

me when all of a sudden she starts to lick my face letting me know she

was okay and as a little bit of payback as she licked my face making me

laugh and fall over. She let out a wolfey chuckle which to mem just

sounded like a grunt and then the bright red glow that she was

emitting slowly fades away along with all of her pain as it did with me.

When the red glow was fully gone she shifted back and looked down at

her non naked body with confusion before she laughs at the fact that

me and her can shift without destroying our clothes anymore. We look

at each other knowing we are both exhausted we wrap our arms

around each other before we turn to go back to the cabin. Right as we

turn around we are face to face with the twins standing by the picnic

blanket staring at us with wide eyes and mouths open not knowing

what to do or say at what they had just witnessed.

"Hey guys we are going to go back to the cabin and head to bed that

took almost all of our energy so could you guys clean all this up for me

and tomorrow you can have the day off and do what you want to do as

me and Skylar won't be doing much besides sleeping to regain our

energy back” I tell them and they just look at us in shock still and nod

their heads before starting to clean up as me and Sky go back to the

cabin and crawl into bed and sleep for the remainder of the night and

all the next day oddly dreaming about the four elements and some

other symbols that I don't understand for some reason.
