Chapter 16

Skylar's POV

I woke up this morning feeling very off and weird next thing I know I

ran to the bathroom and vomited everything that was in my system. I

wiped my mouth, flushed the toilet and brushed my teeth before

throwing on some black sweats, a black t-shirt, and some fuzzy socks

before I climbed back into bed. About 10 minutes late Jace walked in

with a tray of food on it, he brings it over to me and sits beside me on

the bed as I grab a piece of toast and nibble on it. Seeing me just

nibbling on some toast Jace scrunches up his face in confusion.

"You feeling alright darling?” He asked me looking very concerned

“I'll be fine just woke up feeling a little nauseous” I tell him while I finish

my second piece of toast and wash it down with some orange juice.

After Jace finished off the rest of the food and his coffee he put the tray

on the nightstand and looked at me.

“I got something to talk to you about” he told me looking very nervous.

“Okaii you can tell me anything baby don't be nervous I'm not going to

get mad or anything” I tell him reassuringly. He takes a few deep

breaths and sighs before finally telling me what was on his mind.

“Okaii well last night after I fell asleep the moon goddess visited me in

my dreams and she told me not to under estimate out opponent. She

also told me that the full moon was approaching and that I should

make sure that you and I were prepared for it because the night of the

full moon is the night we both go through our transformations since we

completed the mating process. She also told me that I will transform

first when the moon reaches it's apex and then you will transform after I

do and I have to tell you what she told me that it would be painful and

so you are the only one who can help me through it and I am the only

one who can help you through yours otherwise we could die from it,

but I know me and you will pull through we are strong. I love you baby

and I promise I will never ever keep anything from you ever.” Jace tells

me and as I sit there watching him processing everything that he just

told me.

“I love you too babe and we will make a plan and make sure we are

prepared for the full moon with everything and anything we might

need. Also do you think that's why I got sick when I woke up because

we are close to transforming?” I ask him curiously

“It's a possibility baby, don't worry about anything I already have a plan

so I just want you to relax and build up your strength for the full moon

alright.” He says placing his hand on my cheek and passionately kissing

me on the lips and I waste no time kissing him back before we get up

and go for a run and do some light training

***Three Weeks Later***

Jace's POV

It's been about 3 weeks since my dream with the moon goddess which

means that the full moon is tomorrow and just like I told Skylar I had

planned ahead and I had everything ready for it, I even got the twins to

agree to be there to help us out after everything knowing that we both

were going to exhausted. Which is why I talked to that idiot alpha

Spencer to see if I could use the cabin that was about an hour away

seeing as they don't really ever use it. He agreed reluctantly and so now

all I have to do is pack up things for Skylar and I and make sure that the

twins did everything I asked them to do and make sure they were

packed and ready to go as well. Now all that's really left is to tell Skylar

and then get loaded up and head out for 2 weeks of fun, relaxation and

learning to control our powers.

"Jasper, Alex did you guys go and get the cabin ready?” I mind link

them

"Yes Alpha" they say in unison

"We are also packed and already at the cabin. We put our stuff away

plus everything you asked us to do and we are just waiting for you and

Skylar to get here" Jasper says back through the link

"Kay we will be there in about 2 hours. I will mind link you guys when

Sky and I are about 20 minutes away from the cabin.” I say to them

through the mind link before blocking them off. As I go to our room I

see Skylar laying on the bed reading a book with headphones in her

ears which means she can't hear me or see me which makes me smile. I

walk up to her and start to tickle her sides.

"AHHH JACE STOP IT!" Sky yell at me through her bouts of laughter.

"Jeez you scared the shit out of me you asshat” she says to me after she

catches her breath putting her book and headphones away.

"I'm sorry love I saw you couldn't see or hear me so I couldn't resist

myself" I say

kissing her cheek.

"Now everything is all set up and ready, the twins got the cabin ready

for us and they are also settled in there as well as some added

protection. They are already there and waiting for us to pack up our

things for the next two weeks and head over." I inform her as I head to

the closet to grab our suitcases and place them out on the bed. Half an

hour later and we had finally finished packing our things as we bring

our stuff downstairs and put them into the trunk of Sky's red range

rover, then we climb in and head out towards the cabin.

"Skylar and I are about 20 minutes away from the cabin guys" I mind

link Jasper and Alex

"Okay boss the doors are open we got a little bored waiting around for

the two of you and decided to go for a run, we should be back shortly

after you guys arrive.” I heard Alex say through the mind link. I smile

and shake my head at them as I glance at Skylar who is currently

napping in the passenger seat. Once we arrive at the cabin I get out

and grab our belongings and bring them into the cabin and place them

in the room me and Skylar will be staying in when I hear the twins walk

in the front door.

"Hey man you know your mate's still passed out in the car” Jasper

smirks at me.

"Yeah I know I just finished bringing our stuff in and I was just about to

go and get her." I tell them when they look at each other and grin at

each other before running out the door to go and scare the hell out of

my mate, which they are going to regret but I don't stop them instead I

stand in the doorway and watch everything unfold. I watch them slowly

and quietly walk up to the car and then open her door as quietly as

they can before they yell and scare the shit out of Skylar.

"WAKEY WAKEY LUNA!" the twins scream at Skylar

"AHHHHHHHH WHAT THE FUCK GUYS" Skylar wakes up screaming at

the twins who are now rolling around on the ground laughing their

asses off and I was laughing too I had to admit it was pretty funny. Sky

on the other hand didn't feel it was all that funny and got out of the car

glaring at them.

"You guys nearly gave me a heart attack and mark my words I will get

you both back for this when you least expect it" She says to them with

an evil smile which made them stop laughing immediately. I felt a little

bit bad for them "cause they actually looked a little scared which made

me laugh at them even more, I knew not to mess with her but the twins

on the other hand love to play pranks on her and she loves doing it

back to them even though they sometimes don't like the way she gets

them back but it really is funny when she does she has a very creative

mind that I love.
