Chapter 13

Skylar's POV

I awoke this morning in the arms of my loving and very sexy mate, but I

also felt great and a little different from yesterday. Not feeling like

dwelling on it I decide to snuggle up to Jace as much as I could have

thinking about the great and wonderfully mind blowing night we had

last night and fell back asleep listening to the steady beating of his

heart.

Jace's POV

I awoke this afternoon to a sleeping Skylar. She had her head resting on

my chest and her left arm was wrapped securely around my waist, as I

was admiring my gorgeous mate I remembered the conversation I had

with the moos goddess in my dreams last night which got me to

thinking about what kind of changed were going to happen to Skylar

and I.

As I lay there absent mindedly stroking Skylar's beautiful red hair she

started to stir in her sleep. She eventually turned her head and looked

at me with the biggest smile on her face.

“Good morning beautiful” I say to her kissing her forehead.

“Good morning lover” she says to me smiling while she stretched out

her stiff limbs.

"What do you want to do with out day off my love?” I asked her

lustfully as I lightly brushed my fingers up and down her arm.

“Well since it's our day off from training this stupidly useless pack the

girls and I decided to go to the mall and go shopping. If you aren't

doing anything you can come with us that is if you want to.” Skylar says

rubbing circles along my abs and chest

“I would love to baby but unfortunately I have some alpha duties to

attend to and I also promised I would go for a run with the twins who

have been pestering me non stop” I say to her sadly with just a hint of

annoyance towards the twins.

“Alrighty well I'm gonna go and shower and get dressed before Lucy

and Amber come in here and drag me out shopping naked” She laughs

at the though and kisses me before getting up and going to the

bathroom to shower.

Skylar's POV

After taking a shower I got dressed in some jean shorts, a blue crop top

with a black mesh shirt over it and my black combat boots, then I

brushed my teeth and brushed out my hair and put it up into a messy

bun and just as I finished putting my hair up Lucy and Amber came

bursting through the door.

"Oh Skylar it's shopping time!” they yell/sing at me in unison.

I can hear Jace laughing at them from the bed where he was sitting in

some black shorts and a grey t-shirt and running shoes clearly ready to

go and entertain the twins. I walk over to him and kiss him on the lips

passionately like it was the last time I was ever going to kiss him, we

only broke away because Lucy and Amber were starting to whine like

toddlers. So I gave him one last quick kiss before I turned to the girls.

"Okaii okaii I'm coming girls let's get going before you annoy me into

an early grave.” I say to them which makes them laugh and nod their

heads before running down the stairs and out the front door. I turned

to Jace one last time to blow him a kiss that he catches and puts in his

pocket for later.

“I love you baby girl” I h ear him say to me before I walk out the

bedroom door to follow after the girls

“I love you too love, I will see you in time for dinner.” I say back to him

as I race out the door to find the girls sitting and blaring the radio in

my bright red 2017 range rover, I climb into the passenger seat seeing

as Amber was in the drivers seat which is fine with me and as soon as

I'm in the car we speed off towards the mall. After about 20 minutes we

finally arrive at the mall and I groan as I'm not a very big fan of

shopping like Lucy and Amber are.

Just like I knew this shopping trip was going to be long and tedious

and just all around exhausting, We have only been here for about an

hour and I already have 15 bags from just 5 stores, I basically just let

Amber and Lucy pick out things for me since they know my style and

that I don't really like shopping, and they have about the same amount

of bags as I did so we went out and put everything in the car before we

went back into the mall to hit a few more stores. First we went to

Forever 21, them American Eagle, Abercrombie and Finch. Hot Topic,

and finally the girls dragged me into Victoria's Secret the one store I

always dread going into but they always drag me to thank god it's the

last store. After trying on a bunch of various items I finally bought a

black and blue lace bra with matching lace boy short underwear, a

white bra with gold designs on it with a black thong, a black and red

baby doll with a matching thong, a bright red lingerie set, and finally I

bought a blue and black corset top with a matching booty short

underwear and the thing I love about everything is that they all made

my boobs look enormous which I knew Jace was going to both love

and hate.

“Can we go home now?” I whine at them after we paid for all of our

things at Victoria's Secret

“Yes Skylar we can go home now” Lucy says to me looking just as tired

as I was. We got in the car and headed back to the pack house and

once we got there and put all of our bags in our rooms I mind linked

them telling them I was gonna take a nap before dinner and they

agreed. Once I put all of my stuff away I noticed a note on the bed that

said

To the love of my life Skylar,

If you are reading this then that means I haven't come back to the

house yet and I am still out with Jasper and Alex. I hope you had fun

shopping at the mall with the girls and I know you will probably take a

nap and when I get back from my run we will have some time for just

the two of us. I love you so much darling and I can't wait to hold you in

my arms.

As I layed in bed reading his note it just made my heart swell with love

for him before I drifted off into a peaceful dream about my loving mate.

Jace's POV

After Skylar left to go shopping with the girls I called Lucas my beta to

see how things were going back home at our pack and I inform him

that we should be back in about 3 weeks and I helped him with a

couple other things he needed my permission for. As soon as I hung up

the phone the twins came bursting into my room arguing about

something and then all of a sudden Alex looks at me and gets really

excited.

“Alpha can we go for a run now like you promised us last week?" He

asks me giving me puppy dog eyes waiting for me to answer.

“Yes guys we can go for a run around the border of the pack lands and

help the patrol wolves with anything they need and give them tips

about what they can improve on and then we will have a race back to

the pack house and whoever loses has to buy dinner for the 6 of us.” I

say to them which brings giant smile to their faces

“Deal” they say in unison. We all laugh and head outside and run the

border in our human forms so that we didn't have to change in and out

of clothes just to give the patrol wolves some advice. So once we finish

the border run and help better the patrol wolves we go to the farthest

point in the border from the pack house and shift into our wolves with

our clothes tied to our ankles so we had something to wear after. We

got into a line and all at once we mind linked each other saying

“Ready, Set, Go!" we all yell into the mind link and we take off running

towards the pack house. I let the twins believe that they are winning

and then I get whiff of Skylar and I kick it into high gear and make it

back to the pack house in record time. After I shift back and get dresses

I wait there for about 10 minutes before I see the twins emerge from

the woods fully clothes and complaining about losing.

“How the fuck did you beat us back?” Jasper asks me

“Yeah you never used to be that fast where the fuck did that come

from?” Alex asks right after his brother.

“I don't know I just got a whiff of Skylar and I just ran thinking about

her.” I say to them. As they stare at me they eventually shrug it off and

let it go.

“Oh yeah" I turn to them before heading inside to find Sky. “Dinner is

on you guys tonight since you both lost, so where are the 6 of us going

for dinner?” I ask them smirking

“Wait the 6 of us?” Jasper asks

“Yeah the two of you, Skylar, Lucy, Amber, and me. You guys are taking

all of us out for dinner since you lost the race.” I tell them making their

eyes turn into saucers before the groaned out profanities and went to

take a shower and get ready. As we all waked into the house to go

shower and get ready I tell them to go and tell Lucy and Amber the

good news and I'm gonna tell Skylar since they are both too chicken

shit to wake up Sky when she's sleeping, which I don't blame them for

sometimes she can get a little violent.
