Chapter 9

Skylar's POV

Ugh it's too damn early for this shit, Jace woke us all up at 5am so we

can hit the road as soon as possible because it's an 8 hour drive to my

old pack from here. As we all pack into 4 cars we set off towards my

worst nightmare so I decide to take a nap. I awoke to Jace's warm hand

on my knee which I grabbed with my hand and kissed it which makes

him smile at me and then he tells me that we are only 3 hours away

from my old pack. As I sit there holding Jace's hand looking out my

window with Jasper and Alex jamming out in the back I start to

internally freak out about going back to the one place on this earth I

promised myself that I would never, ever, ever go back to ever again

but here I am 3 hours away from hell.

I can't help but wonder if anyone there will even recognize me I know

part of me is going to be glad to see my brother again, even though he

made my life a living hell but he's the only actual family I have left. The

only thing I am looking forward to is making them all pay I will get my

revenge on them and I will enjoy every single minute of it. I don't even

care about seeing Spencer my ex-mate who I doubt will even

remember me considering before me and Jace knew we were mates I

could feel him sleeping around with other girls, and that feeling went

away the day me and Jace accepted each other as mates.

I am so glad to be over and done with him even my wolf hates him for

what he did to us, once we found Jace who picked up the broken

pieces of my heart and put them back together and he treats us like we

deserve to be treated. I couldn't help but wonder if Melody the skank

and her group of bitches were going to try and bully me like they used

to, well even if they try to I will beat their asses and put them in their

place because they don't call me the strongest warrior wolf alive for no

reason and they will regret ever fucking with me "cause now I'm fucking

back and badder then ever now bitches.

As we finally pull up to the pack house Jace and the twins exit the car

and Jace comes over to my door and opens it for me and helps me out.

When I'm out of the car he pulls me to him in a tight embrace.

“Okaii now love we're here so be strong and don't worry I will always be

here right by your side, and remember we all love you unconditionally

so try to not let them get you down baby girl” my mate says to me

before kissing me passionately.

As we pulled away from each other I look up at him smiling “I know you

all love me and will look after me and I'll try to not let them get to me, I

will keep moving on until I have nothing left to move on from.” I tell

him

“Always remember we are here and we will always love you and have

your back baby girl.” Jace said to me which made me feel a bit better.

When we were done talking he laced his fingers through mine and we

started to walk towards the front door of the pack house, where there

was one hell of a welcoming committee assembled. Jace and I made

our way to the door with the twins, Lucy, Amber and all of the other

warriors surrounding us, as we are looking at them and they look us

over a lot of them look straight at me and none of them recognize me

not even my brother and I'm his family for fucks sake. This is going to

be even more fun then I had originally thought as I grin wickedly to

myself.

As we stood there waiting their alpha finally came out to greet us and

to my surprise it was Spencer and Melody the skank and not Blake my

fathers ex-beta, I guess they officially made Spencer their alpha.

“Hello Night Shade Pack I am Alpha Spencer of the Silver Moon Pack

and we are very grateful that you have accepted our request for help.”

Spencer said looking at every member of our pack, looking at Jace and

then finally resting his gaze on me and smile a very seductive grin at

me.

“Nice to finally meet you Alpha Spencer, I am Alpha Jace of the Night

Shade Pack and this gorgeous woman beside me is my mate Sky.” Jace

said with a wicked grin towards Spencer who suddenly became very

confused

“Now Sky baby why don't you introduce yourself” my mate said to me

with a smirk. I smirked back at him and nodded my head.

“Hello everyone I would love to say that it's nice to be back but it's not”

I say

Everyone starts whispering to each other looking very confused by

what I had just said and finally it's Melody who finally talks.

“And who the hell do you think you are I don't recognize you so you

couldn't have been a member of this pack.” She screeches at me

I smile and calmly look at every one and take a deep breath before I

finally tell them who I am. “ Well since no one has clued in yet I'll give

you all a few more minutes to try and figure it out” I say

“Okaii since no one if going to figure it out since I don't look like I did

when I was here” I look right at Spencer before I finish what I was

saying

“Hello Spencer don't you remember the mate you rejected what 2 and

a half years ago now, I guess not wow shame on you and shame on you

Tyler who didn't even re3cognize his own sister.” I say laughing at all of

their shocked faces at the realization that it's me.

“No it can't be, S-sssky-skylar is that really you?” Spencer asks me with

shock, anger, regret, and what looks like happiness swirling around in

his eyes.

"Yupp you better fucking believe it's me bitch so stay out of my way

and I'll stay out of yours so you can sleep with all the little sluts you

want, I have my true mate with me now so I don't need you not that I

ever wanted you since you rejected me. Oh and to all the little sluts and

bitches who think that they can bully me anymore you fuck with me

and I will beat your asses to a fucking pulp.” I say smiling at everyone

whose just looking at me with shock, wonder, fear, amazement.

As everyone stood there staring at me I put my arm around Jace's waist

and he put his arm around my shoulders, which pissed off Spencer

immensely and it made me laugh out loud at how red his face turned in

anger.

“She's my mate mutt” Spencer growled out at Jace but before Jace

could retaliate I growled loudly and possessively at him that he flinched

back in fear and submission. My eyes flashed bright red “ You rejected

me so you have no claim on me but Jace does he is my second chance

mate and if it wasn't for him I would probably be dead and you didn't

even care about me so you can fuck off and have fun with Melody the

skank until she leaves your ass for her true mate who frankly I feel sorry

for.” I said to them in a very pissed off voice. Jace came up behind me

and hugged me from behind calming me down instantly.

“Alpha Spencer could you so kindly show everyone where we will be

staying we would like to put our bags away and get acclimated thank

you.” Jace said as nicely as he could with a smirk on his face

"Yes of course I will have my omegas show you all to your rooms and

again thank you for coming.” Spencer spat through gritted teeth as he

grabbed Melody's hand roughly and dragged her upstairs probably to

his room to fuck her seeing as he couldn't have me anymore. We all got

shown to our rooms and of course I stayed with Jace in his room, which

was massive because it was the room that visiting alphas got to use.

Once we got our bags unpacked we went to the forest stripped, shifted

and went for a run. When we got back we went to our room took turns

showering and got ready for dinner, then after dinner we went back to

bed seeing as tomorrow was their first day of training and training

starts early for everyone.
