THE TRANSGENDER FLAG

The flag has two blue stripes, the traditional colour for baby boys.

Two pink stripes, the traditional colour for baby girls.

A white stripe, representing non-binary, transitioning, and intersex individuals.

DEFINITION

Transgender (often shortened to trans) is a term referring to people who do not identify as the gender assigned to them at birth.

You do not need dysphoria to be trans. Dysphoria can range in intensity, ranging from severe, to mild, to none at all.

The opposite of transgender is cisgender.

The trans day of visibility is on the 31st of March.
