The end

Three years later;

Life was crazy, everything we went through is crazy. It took us so long to adjust, it took so long to stop the war. But here we are, standing as brave as ever. With memories buried deep trying so hard to come rushing back in our brains, but we keep pushing it away. For how long though? We will have to experience all these bad memories someday.

"war has made us took a pause in our lives, but I think it is time to start where we left off." The king spoke, with a smile on his face as he talked to his son and I. "It was meant to take place a year ago, but unfortunately it did not." He paused,"your wedding will be at the end of this month." Then he was no where to be seen, he walked out before hearing either of our answers.

Clyde took my hand, then lifted up my chin to look at. "Just like I once told you, you do have a choice."

I took a deep breath, "I do want that, that it why I still hold onto this ring," I said, showing him the ring he gave me while he bled out. "But it sure won't be like how I have pictured our wedding to be like."

"How did you picture it?" He asked.

"I want our wedding to be simple, where we wear whatever we want. For me, I am thinking a white dress, but you know, not like what they want me to wear, large, flowy, long. and as for you, you choose if course." I started, "then we go up that perfect Hill of yours-"

"ours," he corrected. I stared up at him, and smiled wide.

"we go up that perfect Hill of ours," I grinned. "Were we get to see the town from up above, with all the light pouring from the houses in the dark night. I want to slow dance barefoot, just like the song perfect. I want to lean my head on your chest as we sway to the music. I want to look up into your beautiful eyes that's lit by the moonlight and smile at the fact that I found my one. I want to look at the stars, with you by my side." I paused, "that's my idea of a wedding, just you and me."

"That sounds perfect," he said as he wrapped his arms around my waist. "We will do just that."

I furrowed my brows at him, "what about your father?"

"Hm," he thought. "We could do it his way afterwards if you want, or... We could just run away!"

I chuckled as I buried my head into his neck. "We will do it his way afterwards, what's better than two weddings? All I care about is having you in both." I said, he laughed.

And that's what we did, we had our perfect wedding under the moon light one night and the next at the castle. We stood in front of each other, eyes locked as we spoke our vows.

"I love you with my whole heart with a passion that can't be expressed in words, only in kisses, glances, and years by your side." He said, "I promise you to be honest, faithful and loving. I promise to be there for you for as long as I could breathe."

"I choose you and promise to choose you as my husband every day for the rest of my life," I said. "Not only do I promise that my love for you will grow with each day, but I promise to be your friend and partner every step of the way."

I invited my friends to come, they were looking at us amongst the crowd. I bought their tickets just like I once promised them. They did not believe it taht everything I told them was the truth after all. I gave each one of them the biggest hugs, they teared a bit on the wedding which Mateo denied. The twins are just as crazy as I remember them, Mason and Asia ended up together just like I predicted. Delilah is still alone praising herself as she should and Michael have found a lovely girl, I approve of her, she deserves him and I am glad. Because not everyone deserves a good person like Michael is. Zoey is as supportive as she was when we first met, she is still living her best life and doing whatever the hell she wants.

Family isn't always by blood.

I have found mine, and they are the best I could ask for.
