Goodbye

Saying goodbye to my friends was hard. But I promised them to come back, or buy them tickets so they could visit me. They laughed at the idea.

"How will you afford 6 tickets, princesses?"

I do know why it's hard for them to accept that I actually am apart of a royal family. I told them all about the engagement and they kept saying "dream on"

I told Zoey all about Clyde last week the day after me leaving the club. She knows about him, but not much. That day I told her the whole story. Everything, in detail. I told her how i am starting to think about him a lot, and how my heart feels. I never felt that before. She says I am falling for him, but that was hard to comprehend. But few days later, we had a long talk on the phone after he told me that the he got a ticket for me to come back home. During that long call, I payed attention to everything I felt, every little detail. How i feel charged and euphoric, how my heart flutters with every right word he uses. How i get nervous or excited. The way I blush at the little things. But most importantly, the thing that made me realise, is the feeling of belonging I felt around him, which is a feeling I had never felt before.

"Are you ready to leave?" Mason asked as he threw my luggage into his jeep's trunk

"Not really," I answered, honestly.

"Why are you leaving then?" He asked as he opened the door for me to get in and he got into the driver's seat next to his twin.

"I don't know," i said."I guess I can't stay in vacation forever."

"Right," he mocked, "Because you have to go back to your prince-fiance?"

I rolled my eyes, "it is true you know." We did not talk after, just listened to some music. Then I realized he took a wrong turn, "The airport is that way"

"I know," he said. "We are picking up the gang"

"Did you think they would let you leave without a final proper goodbye?" Michael added. I smiled wide, from air go ear.

One by one, we picked them up. The car was small, but worth the sufficotion. "I am really lucky that I got to know you guys."

"We are the lucky onse," Zoey said.

"We are getting emotional now," Mateo said. "Are we?"

He was sitting next to me on the right side. So I gave him a tight side hug. "I am going to miss your 'bossy' behaviour and all your 'I don't care' moods even though I know you care." His lips curved into a smile for a split second then went back to series. "Ugh," i huffed. "I will miss you all so much."

"I will miss you to, kiddo" Asia said from behind me as she messed up my hair. She tends to act like a mother sometimes.

When we arrived to the airport, they walked me all the way inside until they were not allowed any further. Then we had our final group hug. Well, not final, I will be seeing them again. Right?

"Until next time," I said as I walked in.

"Adios friend!" Mateo shouted.

"call me!" Zoey said.

"We are going to miss you!"

I turned to look at them one last time then disappeared inside. I quickly brushed away the tear that escaped and reminded myself no need for that since I sure will see them again.
