Hangover, swimming.
I woke up the next day, or is it a week later? I am not sure. My head hurts, my feet does too. I tried to remember last night, all I remember is that I rejected drinks, but ended up drinking one because they kept insisting. But by this headache of mine, I bet it was more than one.
I opened my phone, and it took me straight to Instagram. Zoey must have forgotten to close the app. Or- I did...
I stared at the photos with opened mouth, I ignored the first innocent photos Zoey took of me and posted on my account and skipped to the picture she took at the dressing room. After that, it was all selfies and videos taken by me at the nightclub last night. Looks like I was having fun, way too much fun.
How can I delete them? I got to ask Zoey for instructions. So I texted her, she did not want to tell me though. She said they are too cool and "have you seen how many likes you have got?" No, not really. I have not.
I went back into my page, and took a focused look around, not just scrolling quickly. I used to have one follower, which is Zoey. Then I got five more last night from her friends. But now, it says- 3,478?? 3K? THREE THOUSAND? How come?
Well, at least not as much as Zoey's followers. I bet she can't sleep with all the notifications.
Each post of mine had so many likes and comments, how many friends does she have?
Where were you all this time
/_I know right! She is so cool
Glad she came to the city, otherwise wouldn't have met such a cool person.
You go girl!
Gorgeous
We gotta party again soon
Look at her go!
Is she single?
/_ No I heard she is a princess, engaged to a prince.
/_ haha! Funny.
Beautiful Ell!
What's going on? Oh my god.
"Nevermind, I am going to delete the whole app instead." I texted her.
"Don't. You. Dare."
And yes I did not, you do not want to disobey Zoey. She would flip out.
I tapped on my story, no. Way.
Red? Seriously!
I jumped out of bed and found the closest mirror, I had a couple red streaks on the sides.
"badass, right?" I heard a familiar voice so I turned around and found her grinning at me.
"Oh god," I huffed.
After a while, we went to the last floor of the hotel for the swimming pool since we both need it due to our hangover. But I got to say, she took the hangover better than I did. Since she clearly goes to her friend's club all the time.
The guards did not let her of course so I have to go downstairs and show them my room card. And not long after the five others came too so we went downstairs again wearing our robes it was cold since our swimming suits were wet. Then went back up with them all.
Mason and Michael made an entrance by jumping into the pool after he ran towards it while Mateo looked like the boss he is and stayed out on the chairs looking at us like a parent. Delilah walked her way to the pool like she was walking on a red carpet and slowly walked down the small stairs into the pool while Asia jumped around excitedly and splashed us with water while jumping in. She looks intimidating, but when you get to know her you know she is actually so much fun and fairy-like.
The pool was empty, with no one but us in it.
I took a look around, looking at each of their faces. Thankful for to have them as friends, especially Zoey. I remember after the first few days for me here, I started missing home and thinking none sense about Clyde. But now, I feel just fine. Hell it feels great to be here. I would not mind to spend the rest of my life at the side of the country.
"What about an Instagram boomerang?" I asked, loudly for them all to hear.
"Hell yes!"
"Okay what if we jump in at the same time?" I suggested, they all nodded and got out of the pool excitedly. I opened Instagram and picked the boomerang effect Zoey had taught me and handed it to a guy behind the small bar. He took it gladly.
I pulled Mateo out of his chair, he looked at me clueless then said, "I am not jumping."
"I am not asking you to," I said. "Just stand next to us to show your existence"
He opened his mouth to argue, but one better than doing so. "Fine," he rolled his eyes.
We stood next to each other, and the gang knew what to do. The bartender counted from three to one and we jumped in pulling Mateo with us. He cursed and grimaced but ended up laughing with us.
The video turned just great, it was awesome. I only knew them for a day, hell even just for a night. Yet I feel like I have known then forever.
