At the office
Ema: What should we do?
Joker: We have to protect them of course and pump some more information about them.
Smith: We have told you everything we know about this incident.
Veronica: Smith has right you know.
Ema: Maybe we should let them rest they have been through a lot.
Jason: What do you want from us?
Joker: You forgot to mention, how did the culprit manage to come towards you without you seeing him?
Veronica: We told you that he disguised himself as a police officer.
Smith: Veronica is right.
Ema: He has a point.
Jason: Is thinking.........
Joker: One of you is a lot smarter then I taught.
Jason: It is great that somebody shares my nervousness.
Veronica: What do you mean, Jason?
Smith: Just tell us.
Joker: If we say that the cop-killer took your clothes. Could he approach the crime scene as a rookie?
Jason: That worried me as well but I taught it was too much overthinking.
Ema: That could be a very good key information we got a hold into if that was true.
Smith: Well it is true that I do not have the authority to participate but if something were to happen I may enter the crime scene and aid my fellow comrades.
Ema: Then why did he took cadet, Smith's cloths?
Jason: He worked with someone?
Ema: That does not sound like our culprit at all?
Jason: True!
Joker: I think he is smarter than that.
Veronica: What do you mean?
Joker: What if he had already clothes on him, he did that so he could have your attention, Veronica?
Veronica: What do you mean?
Smith: What kind of attention?
Jason: It makes sense and it describes his profile, on how he is rotten to the core.
Jason: Joker, thinks that if you had not to find out that their lives were at stake he planes would have failed.
Smith. You mean that he did that so he could kill more people.
Joker: That is the logical conclusion.
Veronica: That means he wanted to kill me and Smith.
Ema: What a psychopath.
Smith: How can we ever arrest his devilishness persona?
Joker: That is the hard part. He will always be one step ahead of us.
Smith: How can you say that?
Jason: People that think differently are the hardest to catch because we cannot read their minds.
Jason: Did you know guys, than 90percent of the population has the same mindset level than the others and 10% are so-called outcasts who are different. People hate them because they do not follow the rules or they are smarter enough to know when they are being used.
Ema: That means we have about a 5% chance of catching him since we do not know anything about him at all. So for the mathematical reason, I have subtracted a half percent of 10. If your memory serves your right.
Veronica: 5% to 100% we have no chance at all. Our chance are to low.
Joker: That is why I did not want to start a battle with him. He scares me as well.
Ema: He lies like an monkey we both know he is enjoying this but he doesn't want to accept this mission because he likes to watch his favorite detective TV show all night long.
Veronica: Have someone told you that you are a jerk, Angel?
Joker: Heard of that before.
Jason: Smiles......
Joker: Why are you smiling?
Jason: You are so alike, Will that it is scary for me to say that.
Joker: How so?
Jason: You have both kind hearts but people misunderstand you for being heartless.
Joker: So?
Jason: You do not like to show weaknesses at all because you have been through plenty enough. You say these harsh words because you do not want your partner to get caught in this mess.
Joker: Perfect, so know we have a psychology teacher in our team. Who read my files if I'm not right.
Jason: Sorry! But I had to know what we are dealing with.
Smith: Do you know perhaps how he caused that blast?
Veronica: C4?
Ema: Shows them a picture from her crimepad?
Veronica: Damn that technology tho.
Smith: So that is how he engulf his victims in flames.
Veronica: Do you have any countermeasures?
Ema: Our best team is working on that matter as we speak.
Assistant Chief: Opens the door...
Joker: Not her again. (thinking)
Jason: Is she in charge?
Ema: No! You have already talked to her, you are so stupid.
Jason: Give us a break we had a rough day.
Assistant Chief: I got called from the chief that you guys are in a mess yet again.
Ema: Sorry?
Joker: Not my fault!
Smith: Who are you?
Assistant Chief: Hi! My name is, Desire and I will be in charge of this mission. Just so you know I'm treating you as a like-minded individual and not children even tho you seem like that.
Ema: That is so rude!
Desire: Stop commenting when your superior starts to talk.
Ema: Sorry!
Joker: My mother must have to make her life a misery for her to be bitching around. (thinking)
Veronica: She is so bitchy.(Thinking)
Smith: I have to be polite since I'm a cadet. (Thinking)
Jason: She seems serious but I cannot blame her our life is at stake.(thinking)
Desire: You know that you have tainted the cop killers, killing strikes which means he is even more dangerous than before. He might even toss his beliefs just to kill you guys. Psychopaths are most dangerous when they want something.
Jason, Veronica, Ema, Smith, and Joker: We have been through that as matter of fact.
Desire: By my expertise, he will most likely hire bounty hunters on your lives but he must be the one that must pull the trigger otherwise he will lose his meaning to life. We are searching around databases as we speak for information about the bounty hunters and the cop killers whereabouts.
Jason: That will be hard but we will pray for your success.
Desire: I thank you! What are your names?
Jason: My name is Jason.
Veronica: My name is Veronica.
Smith: Mam, my name is cadet, Smith.
Desire: Nice to meet you guys and tell me what happened?
Jason: Tells her everything they know.
Desire: Wow! I'm happy that you are alive but you should take some rest.I will appoint some guards for some protections.
Desire: Take some rest you guys deserve it after everything you have been through and do not worry we will avenge everyone's fallen, comrades.
Jason: Thank you for your hospitality.
Desire: My wish is to help you get a normal life.
Smith: Me too.
Veronica: Me too.
Jason: I guess so.
At the kitchen
Abi and Rin: Drinking green tea and talking.
Abi: Who should start talking about their lives?
Rin: I can start if you want.
Rin: This is my story so please listen and I warn you this story is really difficult.
Abi: Drinking her tea and listening.
Rin: I come from, Japan a city called Nagoya but even tho the city is big with millions of people some people are not quite lucky to enjoy their lives to the fullest.
Abi: Go on!
Rin: My city is divided into poor and rich parts like most of us are. Our city is very special.
Abi: Why is that?
Rin: Turn your ears on because this will get confusing. Have you heard of a story called Robin Hood?
Abi: Of course! He stole from the rich and let the poor have it.
Rin: Well guess what, we have the Japanese version of Robin hood.
Abi: That is so cool.
Rin: He was a ninja who stole money from rich temples and gave it to the poor temples. His name is Ishikawa Goemon.
Abi: Well that did not actually surprise me at all.
Rin: Here is the plot twist he had an counterpart who did the opposite and he is called, Oda Nobunaga. He poisoned the thief, Goemon so that his mind got clouded by his judgment.
Abi: What happens next?
Rin: Goemon was forced to become a robber when the ninja world broke down.
Abi: What does this have to do with you?
Rin: Be patient my friend.
Rin: When the ninja world collapsed the world turned into chaos.5o% of the villages were on Oda Nobunaga's side and others were on, Goeamon's side even tho people knew that he betrayed them but people in that village had some sort of reasoning.Until this day the war of the dead continuous to roam above us.
Abi: The story is sad but pretty at the same time.
Rin: My side of the family is with Goeamon side. If you are in his side then the villages are frankly thinking that you are some sort of a demon. They think that you are stupid for believing in his ideology even tho he betrayed your home.
Abi: But this is a fairy tale story?
Rin: Japan is different than your country they believe strongly in folklore because it is apart of us.
Abi: Why did you become an assassin then?
Rin: When I came to this world. I was bound to be a failure even tho I was so young. Since I was their first child they had no choice but to adopt me. They wanted me to give me a better life. One day the assassins came to our place where we lived. They threaten us with their lives.
Abi: What did they want?
Rin: Money or death?
Abi: That is horrible.
Rin: What happened next?
Rin: Since we all were poor my father and mother begged them to spare us. The assassins just laughed at us.I was stupid and young so I taught I could defend my family. I took a frying pan and threaten them.
Abi: I can see where your bravery comes from?
Rin: Thanks!
Abi: Back to the story! So my father yelled at me in Japanese,'' Yamete'' It means in English,'' Stop It''. I can remember that clear as a day.
Abi: Is drinking her tea in silence.
Rin: Stops and drinks some tea.
Rin: A woman said don't laugh in Japanese. The assassins did not listen.
Rin: That lady told me to close my eyes, so I did.
Person: Used her blade to kill them. I can still remember those screams in the night.
Abi: Who was that? How can a girl be involved in missions?
Rin: I taught so too but apparently she is from the royal clans of assassins.
Abi: What does that mean?
Rin: They work for their master. Every assassin clan has a master and the master picks a special family to protect him or her at all costs.
Abi: My guess is she killed them because they disobeyed a direct order.
Rin: Probably.
Rin: Her name was, Kiren at it means in kanji, Ray of light. She told me that my courage changed her darkened heart. She told me that she will forever protect me.
Abi: That woman is taking a huge risk by saving your life.
Rin: I know! My life and my destiny belong to her and my real family.
Rin: I later learned that she wanted a child on her own but she could not have it. My adopted mother told me to never lose my courage and bravery and also to remember my real family.
Abi: She was a good person but with twisted feelings.
Rin: You could say so.
Abi: How did you stay alive from the enemies that dwell on the assassin village.
Rin: Luckily my adopted mother was with the higher-ups so nobody could do shit to us.
Rin: My adopted mother wanted to find me a team of protectors for my mission.
Abi: Did you have to go through some sort of a ritual deathmatch?
Rin: No! Since I was practically from a strong family. Only people that are from weak families must do this to regain their respect.
Abi: That must be tough.
Rin: Since I was a secret, my mother and my father said to me that, I cannot trust anyone to tell them the whole truth.
Abi: Who was your father?
Rin: My father was the masters' sons.
Abi: Wow what a plot twist.
Rin: What does that mean:
Abi: How should I put it so that you could understand.
Abi: It means that something unexpected has happened.
Rin: Like a surprise.
Abi: That was the word I was looking for.
Rin: I had to watch many people die just so I could find myself some protectors.
Rin: All tho I was not convinced that they would protect me because they wanted to regain their glory.
Abi: So how did you find your assassin team?
Rin: By asking my grandfather to show each and everyone some mercy because I want to hear the truth and not actions.
Abi: Wow!
Abi: My grandfather or my master was furious when he heard that. A mere child destroying his traditions for ages.
Abi: How did he approve?
Rin: My father told my master that I should fight instead.
Rin: My mother actually punched him at the shoulder at the master's presence.
Abi: She must be furious.
Abi: Gives Rin, some water....
Rin: Thanks!
Rin: Drinks the water from the glass...
Rin: My father whispered to my mother to trust him.
Rin: So I entered the ring with no battle advantages just a sword.
Rin: I was a nob against pros and amateurs.
Rin: I was shaking in my mind. I told myself multiple times that I wanted to go home.
Rin: Then I stupidly screamed that ''Who killed me could have my royal assassin title''
Rin: I was scared and I was up against 200 people.
Rin: My master had the time of his life.
Abi: Did some of them come over to your side.
Rin: My logic failed me because everyone was taken by greed and not using their hearts.
Abi: What did you expect they are so-called, Assassins prodigies.
Rin: I was naive I taught I could find somebody like my adopted mother who shares both dark and light aspects of life.
Rin: Then suddenly 10 people started to jump from the stadium towards the arena to protect me but they were weak so they died.
Abi: Who protected you then?
Rin: A ninja,Samurai & Assassin teenagers.
Abi: But they are your arch-rivals since ages.
Rin: Ironically our assassins had bigger and kinder hearts than my adopted family.
Abi: I bet your master wanted them dead then.
Rin: Of course! He said, ''Assassins you made your biggest mistake today to trespass my kingdom without getting noticed.''
Rin: My master wanted them dead.
Rin: My adopted mother saved them by protecting them so did my father.
Rin: My father told his father that my daughters' friends are mine as well.
Rin: Later my master had no choice but to stop his assault.
Abi: What a brave story.
Rin: They are called, Void and Crimson.(Crying in tears)
Abi: Their bravery will never be forgotten.
Rin: Generation X must fall before they can find any piece.
Abi: I promise they will...
Rin: Now it is your turn to talk about your life.
Abi: It seems so.
Rin & Abi: Drinking some tea.
Rin: Why did you become a police officer?
Abi: I got inspired by my mother and she was my role model. As a kid growing up I taught being a cop was super cool. I wanted to protect people and my community from all the violence.
Rin: You said your life was hard so I can guess that you had some rough cases. Can you tell me about that?
Abi: Well I could tell you about it but I must keep it short because I have to keep my mouth shut.
Rin: Why is that? The case happened along time ago?
Abi: Because it is a top-secret mission that went horribly wrong and it changed my life.
Rin: Now I'm interested.
Abi: It was my second mission working with the swat and I had my team.
Abi: On that day I was in a complete mess.
Rin: Why is that?
Abi: Our bosses told us that they had intel about a crime that was going to happen by another department. Our mission was to aid the swat team and capture the culprits.
Rin: That mission looked lame.
Abi: I know! Our rank was too high for this mission. Our bosses wanted some extra professional back up team to aid the swat team because they know that this mission must be a trap.
Rin: Why?
Abi: It is just weird that they got an intel that was accurate.
Rin: True?
Abi: So, our bosses divided us into one team and they gave us the name, Red Sparrow.
Abi: They had names, captain Phillip, the technician Rose,Assault Weapons Emily & Jack and me, Long distant shooters, Issy, Desaire, Rico & the bomb squads, Chaos, Blue, Violet, and Emma.
Rin: You had plenty of back up and I cannot still understand, how did you lose?
Abi: Let me explain the mission briefly.
Abi: Our Intel told us that we should be ready at that time and the location was at the Capital Bank.
Rin: Capital Bank is it popular?
Abi: Capital Bank is ranked,11 which means they are one of Americas largest banks.
Rin: Did they take the money?
Abi: Our plan was to ambush them at the back door and wait for them in the alley. We calculated the best location to capture them.
Abi: Our plan was simply to make the swat team block the roads so that the thief could come to us.
Rin: That plan of yours could be great or bad.
Abi: What do you mean?
Rin: They could have some good weapons to counter yours or they could simply use smoke or a stun grenade.
Abi: Why do that we had numbers.
Rin: Well let say they used a smoke grenade. Would you shoot or they?
Abi: Neither.
Rin: Are you sure?
Abi: Yes?
Rin: Well think like this, the room is filled up with smoke and the thief has fewer people then your team. The thief would start shoot first because they have many targets and they don't care if they die but your team is the opposite.
Abi: I never taught about it.
Rin: Because I think like a criminal.
Abi: It happened like this.
Abi: We managed to block the road and we chased after 3 criminals. We forced them to run into a dark corner. Snipers were at the rooftops if they picked up a gun they would shoot them at sight. The offensive team would engage and talk to the criminals while the defensive team is at the back waiting to support us.
Rin: It was a good plan but what went wrong?
Abi: The plan was good but we did not count that these people who took the money are innocent bystanders.
Rin.: Did you shoot them?
Abi: We saw at them that they were scared. We did not panicked because these things are common to us.
Rin: What do you mean?
Abi: They are some rare opportunities on duty that criminal use hostages to do their bidding but we did not count that they would have a bomb that was activated.I remember we all fell to the ground. I was going to get up then I saw my captain protecting me from the gunshot at his last breath he told me to play dead, so I did.
Rin: That was horrible. Your mission must have been compromised and that really sucks.
Abi: Yeah!
Rin: How many died?
Abi: I know the defense team and the offensive team got taken out except me and that the snipers got also taken out except for desire. If my memory serves me right.
Rin: So basically almost everyone died.
Abi: I felt so shit that I was often seen at the bar drinking.
Rin & Abi: Are drinking tea....
Thank you for reading my bonus story and more chapter will come.
