Tempted by her Daddies: Chapter 43
Tempted by her Daddies (Harem of Daddies Book 6)
âTime to get out now, Kitten.â
âNooo,â she cried. âI like the bath. I think I might live in the bath. Itâs warm and itâs fun and no one will ever find me if I decide to hide. Look.â
She held her nose and slid under the water until the bubbles covered her completely. Then she sat back up.
âSee?â
âUm.â
âI was totally hidden, right? Invisible, even.â
âWell, invisible or not, you cannot live in the bath.â
Her lower lip dropped out in a pout and she stared up at him with wide eyes, fluttering her eyelashes.
Roman would totally give in to her now. No one could resist the puppy dog eyes.
It was impossible.
âCome on. Up you get.â He placed his hands under her arms and lifted her.
She gasped. âYou resisted the puppy dog eyes. That should have been impossible.â
âWell, it was hard to resist. But us Daddies know that we have to do what is best for our Littles. Even if it isnât what they think is best.â
âYouâve caught onto this Daddy stuff awfully quickly,â she grumbled.
âWere you hoping that you could wrap me around your little finger?â he asked as he dried her off.
She wasnât sure that sheâd ever dried herself off this thoroughly. He lifted each of her arms to swipe the towel underneath, then down between her breasts.
Then he crouched down and started with her feet, propping her foot up on his thigh and drying between each toe.
âWho me? Of course not, Dada. I would never presume to do that.â
âUh huh. Part your legs, please.â
She pushed her legs apart as he dried between them.
âWhat are we going to do now that you forcibly extracted me from the bath against my express wishes?â
âI thought we might play with the Lego.â
âPlay! Yay!â She clapped her hands together and bounced up and down. âI like playing.â
âLetâs get you dressed and put something on that knee then you can find something to play with.â
âOkay, letâs go!â She grabbed his hand as he stood and tried to drag him to the door. Her foot slid on some water on the floor, though, and she would have fallen over had he not held her up.
âThanks, Dada! You know you really shouldnât get water all over the bathroom floor. Someone could slip and hurt themselves.â
âIâll endeavour to be more careful in the future,â he said dryly.
âYou do that. Or youâll be in big trouble, Little one.â
âOh, I donât think so.â He turned her, grasping hold of her chin. âYouâre the only little one around here.â
She grinned. âAnd thatâs the way I like it.â
âThereâs no way we could handle more than one of you.â
âI feel like thereâs an insult in there, but I also feel itâs true. The three of you are getting on in years, after all. It seems that you just canât keep up with us younger folk anymore.â
âIâm only thirty,â he protested.
âHmm, well, maybe the other two. Although donât tell them I said that,â she added hastily.
âWhy? Are you worried theyâll spank you for your sassiness?â
Her eyes widened. âNo! They would never spank me. Tamsy is a good girl.â
âGood to know. But perhaps you should worry about what I might do to you.â
âYou?â She swallowed nervously as he led her out into the playroom. âYou wouldnât spank me.â
âNot spank you, no.â
She gasped in horror. âWould you tell on me to Daddy and Papa? Thatâs just mean.â
âI donât need to tell on you to punish you.â He led her to the changing unit.
She swallowed as she stared at it. It had just arrived a few days ago and no one had used it with her yet.
And while she wanted to use it . . . she also felt a bit nervous.
âPunish me?â
âHmm. I might not want to spank you or make you cry. But that doesnât mean I wouldnât put you in timeout or have you write lines.â
âDada! No! I hate lines and timeout.â
âThatâs why theyâre a punishment. Now, I need to go and choose your outfit but first letâs get you in these.â He picked up the bloomers heâd been holding earlier. âOh, I should have asked before. Do you need to go potty?â
âAhh, no, I went in the bath.â
He froze. âYou what?â
She started giggling. âYou should see your face!â
Roman let out a huff. âYou are so naughty.â
âNuh-uh, not me. GGT. Good Girl Tamsy. I think I should get a T-shirt made up saying that.â
âYou might need a naughty one made up too,â he said as he wrapped his hands around her waist.
âWhat are you-oh!â she cried as he lifted her onto the changing unit.
She was still finding it hard to get used to them putting her where they wanted her.
But at least she was able to keep her instincts to fight back under control.
âLie down and Iâll just do this up.â He wrapped a strap around her waist. âSafety first. We donât want you rolling off.â
He was just too cute.
âDada, where is Atlas?â she asked.
âOh, let me see. There he is!â He walked over to pick him up off the bed. He handed him to her before pulling out a pair of training pants.
âAtlas, where have you been, you naughty puppy,â she scolded her toy.
Roman slid on her training pants.
âIâm going to go choose an outfit for you. I want you to stay right there, understand?â
âI understand, Dada.â
She hummed to herself as he disappeared into the closet. Then she started throwing Atlas up into the air and catching him. He loved when she did that. She giggled as he spun, but instead of falling back into her arms, he fell onto the floor.
âOh no!â she cried, trying to twist around to look over the edge. âAtlas!â
âWhat happened?â Roman rushed back over to her.
âAtlas fell.â She pointed at her toy on the floor, sniffling for extra measure.
âOh. Let me get him for you. Here you are.â
âThanks, Dada!â she cried, hugging Atlas tight as Roman disappeared into the closet again.
Hmm. She was getting a bit bored here on her own. Surely, if she threw Atlas up again he wouldnât fall on the floor.
âWhee! Whee!â she cried before Atlas fell on the floor again. âOh no! Dada! Dada!â
âWhat is it? What happened?â Roman rushed back, carrying some clothes in his hands.
Ooh, was that her light green dress? She wanted to wear that one.
âAtlas fell again.â
Roman frowned. âAtlas should be more careful. He seems to be very clumsy.â
âI know. Doesnât he?â She nodded solemnly. âI shall tell him that. Gimme.â She made grabby hands at Roman.
Who just raised his eyebrows and gave her a stern look. âExcuse me? Is that the way you ask for what you want?â
âUmm. I mean, please can I have Atlas.â
âThatâs much better and no.â
âN-no?â Heâd said no? But Roman rarely told her no. Although Dada seemed to do it quite a bit.
Which was really no fair.
Because she didnât like that word.
âI donât like that word,â she huffed as he shook out the green dress and put it on her.
âIâm sure you donât. Although you probably hear it a lot.â
âFar more than I should, thatâs for sure.â
He managed to get the dress on and then the ruffly bloomers. Then he undid the belt tying her to the changing unit so he could sit her up and put her arms through.
âDada, Atlas is lonely on the floor.â
âWell, Atlas should have thought of that before he started to play the âthrow me in the airâ game.â
Oh.
âYou saw that?â she asked.
âI did. Now, there you are. All snug as a bug in a rug.â
âWhy would I want to be a bug in a rug?â she asked.
âHuh. You know, I donât know. Thatâs just the saying.â He lifted her down onto the floor and she rushed over to snatch up Atlas.
âItâs okay, puppy. Youâre with me now. Dada wouldnât have left you on the floor forever,â she reassured him. Then she pretended to listen as he spoke. âAtlas, Dada does like you.â She thrust her puppy up into Romanâs face. âTell Atlas you love him.â
âAhh.â
âDada!â she exclaimed, stomping her foot. âAtlas thinks that you donât like him because you were going to leave him on the floor. Kiss him and make up.â
âAhh, how about I just call him a good boy and pat his head?â
âHmm. Let me see.â She listened to Atlas. âHe said thatâs acceptable if you donât leave him on the floor again.â
âPerhaps Atlas should talk to you since youâre the one that threw him up in the air and failed to catch him.â
She hugged her toy tight. âI tried to catch him, but heâs really bad at that game.â
âAhh, I see.â He nodded. âNow, what do you think of your outfit?â He led her to the large antique mirror with a gilded gold frame. It was meant to be free-standing, but Alexei had said that it would be safer if it was mounted to the wall. Something about not wanting it to fall on her.
He was such a worrywart.
All that worrying was definitely giving him frown lines.
She peered into the mirror, then smiled and clapped her hands. âItâs so pretty, Dada!â
âGood.â
âI havenât seen this one before.â The material was a soft, pale green and there were daffodil buttons up the front and at the cuffs. âI love it!â
âGood. I bought it for you.â
âYou did, Dada? You never told me that! Thank you!â She threw her arms around him. When she pulled back to look up at him, he was blushing slightly.
Aww. He was the cutest.
âLetâs play!â
âThis is the greatest Lego Christmas village ever!â she cried.
âItâs definitely looking good, Kitten,â he agreed. âAlthough itâs a bit early for Christmas.â
âDada! Itâs never too early for Christmas.â She sat back and looked at everything they had built.
When sheâd asked Papa to build it, heâd claimed that his fingers were too big for Lego. And Salem had told her that it was too early to create it.
But maybe theyâd known that Roman would want to build it for her.
âAgreed,â he said with a smile. âWhat Lego shall I get us next?â
âYou bought this for me?â
âI did.â
âThank you, Dada!â She went to throw herself into his arms, then hesitated âCan I hug you?â
âYou may.â
She threw her arms around him and he held her tight for a few moments.
âCan we play something different, Dada?â
âWhat would you like to play, darling girl?â
âHide and seek!â
