I told kyle and Ryan what happened in the morning. I couldnât sleep at all because Jaxon left me. He totally ignored me. And itâs never been like that. He chases me. Itâs not the other way around. Iâm not going to chase him!
âMommyâ Emily mumbled waking up
I put Emily on the sofa because I didnât know if all the rooms were taken or not.
âShush. Itâs still early. Go back to sleepâ I said running a hand threw her long black hair.
âI canât sleep. Mommy why did daddy leave yesterday?â She asked climbing into my lap
Emily doesnât have a dad, so I told her that Jaxon is her dad, how Iâm her mom.
âHe was just tired sweetie. Donât worry. You can see him today. Are you excited to see you brother?â I asked picking her up and walking to the kitchen. It was 6.00 in the morning.
âYes. But what if he doesnât like me?â She whispered and I shook my head putting her on the counter
âOf course heâs going to like you Emily. Youâre going to be his little sisterâ I said and she shook her head
âNo mommy! What if he doesnât like me because I am a vampireâ she whispered in my ear
âItâs okay Emily. He wonât mindâ I replied as Jaxon walked into the kitchen.
âMorningâ I said and he nodded and walked to the fridge.
Why is he ignoring me lexi? I asked
I donât know Axel and William are ignoring me as well. She replied and I blocked her out.
âIâm making some waffles for Emily. Do you want some?â I asked and he shook his head and sat on the stool
âJaxon! Why are you ignoring me?â I groaned
âIâm not bethanyâ he replied looking at Emily, who was smiling at him.
âBethany? Itâs cherry for you. Cherry? Remember that?â I asked
âHi-â he ignored me and smiled at Emily
âHi daddyâ Emily said and hugged Jaxon
âDaddy?â He looked at me confused
âSheâs my adopted daughter. So your her dadâ I mumbled putting a frying pan on the gas.
âOh. Whatâs your name?â He asked her as she let him go
âEmily Rose Perryâ she said holding her hand out and he shook it
âNow youâre Emily Rose Perry Grayâ he said and she nodded
âMommy I have a longer name nowâ she said excitedly and I nodded
âYeah! Why donât you go in the living room and watch TV?â I said and she nodded. I picked her up and put her on the floor, and she ran out the room.
âJaxo-â he walked out of the room.
âJaxon I was talking to youâ I shouted but got no reply
âUgh. Assholeâ I yelled as the door opened and Rachel walked in.
âBethany?â She muttered
âSo kyle wasnât lying!â She exclaimed and hugged me
âRachel slow down. Your pregnant. Be carefulâ I mumbled hugging her back.
âI donât care!â She said hugging me tightly and then letting me go
âHow the hell did this happen?â She asked confused
âItâs a weird story. But Rachel? Do you know why Jaxon is ignoring me?â I asked, putting the waffles on the plate.
âHeâs ignoring you? I have no ideaâ she muttered as Ryan, Eric and Kyle walked in. Kyle kissed Rachel and sat down on the stool next to her as Eric stared at me.
âAm I dreaming?â He asked and Ryan pinched him.
âAhâ he squeaked holding his arm.
âWhat was that for?â He asked Ryan and Ryan smirked
âBecause youâre cuteâ Ryan said and kissed him.
âHey Eric. Iâll talk to all of you later! I have to give Emily her breakfast.â I muttered and picked up a plate and walked out, ignoring their confused faces.
I walked inside the living room to see Oliver sat on the sofa with Jaxon and Emily.
âHeyâ I mumbled and Oliver looked at me.
âMommy? Mommy!â He exclaimed and jumped off Jaxon and hugged my legs. I put the plates on the floor and got down on my knees and hugged Oli tightly
âI missed you so much mommy. Please donât leave me again!â He cried
âIâm sorry Oli. And I promise to not leaveâ I whispered and he shook his head
âDaddy said not to make promises if you canât keep themâ he said letting me
âIâm going to keep this one. I promiseâ I replied wiping his eyes
âI love you mommyâ he exclaimed and hugged me again.
âI love you too Oliâ I mumbled looking at Jaxon who was staring at me but looked back at the TV.
âHave you seen your sister? Emily?â I asked as he let me go
âYes mommy. Thank you so much. You bought me a sister!â He shouted as Emily sat on Jaxonâs lap and hugged him.
âI love daddyâ she shouted and Jaxon chuckled.
âI love you too Emilyâ he replied tickling her as she laughed and Oli ran to Jaxon and jumped on him.
âI love daddy tooâ he shouted and Jaxon started tickling him too.
âJaxon stop! They need to eatâ I said and he ignored me.
âJaxon?â I tried again but he was still tickling the kids.
I scoffed and walked out the room, up the stairs and to Jaxonâs and I, old room. It was still the same and nothing changed.
Lexi? Why isnât he talking to me? I asked softly leaning on the door.
Iâm not sure beth. But donât give up. Remember the reason youâre here. Just be careful. She replied and I nodded and blocked her out.
Jaxon? I tried our mind link but got no reply. Blocked
Why are you not talking to me jaxon? Did I do something wrong? I couldnât stop myself from dying Jaxon. I had to protect everyone. And it was the only way. Iâm sorry I pleaded into the mindlink but got no reply
I laid my head on the door and slided down the door, just sitting down. Itâs Sunday today and I am going to get Jaxon to talk to me.
I stood up and went to my closet to see none of my clothes were moved out of place. I found a blue dress(outfit on side.) It was a dress layla bought me for my mate. And I think itâs a great time for me to wear it.
I had a shower, and got dressed. I straightened my hair and wore a little mascara and lipgloss.
I walked out of the bathroom and to my closet. I wore my black wedges and grabbed a small purse, stuffed some money inside and walked out the room.
I went downstairs to the living room to see the kids eating their breakfast.
âHey. Who wants ice cream?â I smirked as Jaxon looked at me and his eyes darkening
âCh-bethan-â he walked out of the room. Asshole.
âI doâEmily and Oli shouted standing up
âOkay. Letâs get you both changed. Emily you can wear something of Oliverâs. And after ice cream, weâll go shoppingâ I said and they both nodded.
I walked upstairs with them and we went to Oliverâs room. I made sure they both had showers, got dressed and had brushed their teeth.
âLetâs goâ I said as we walked downstairs.
We walked out the door to see Jaxon leaning on a car. He looks hot
âI was think I come with you? Do you want that?â He asked looking at the kids and they both nodded
âGood. I got you a seat as well Emily. Letâs help you sit in the carâ he said picking Emily and Oliver up together.
I sat in the passangers seat as he helped them in their seats.
He sat in his seat and started the car.
âWeâre going for ice creamâ I said and he nodded and drove.
When we got their, everyone was shocked to see me. Jaxon sat down in a booth with Oliver and I went to the counter with Emily.
âHi. Can I have one scoop of vanilla, one of chocolate, one of strawberry. And with chocolate sauce and lots of sprinkles. Emily what do you want?â I asked
âThe same mommyâ she exclaimed and I nodded
âGo ask Oli what he wantsâ I said and she nodded
âCan I have two of those and two vanilla scoops. With nothing on it.â I said and the woman nodded
âOf course lunaâ she said and I nodded
âMommy Oliver wants vanilla ice creamâ Emily said running back to me and I nodded
âand another vanilla ice cream pleaseâ I said and the woman nodded and turned around.
After a couple of minutes she handed me two cones and two bowls of ice cream.
I walked back to the the booth and sat inside next to Jaxon.
âHere you goâ I said handing Oliver his ice cream and too Emily.
âJaxon? I got you one as wellâ I said handing his bowl
âI donât like this ice cream anymoreâ he muttered pushing his bowl in the middle
âReally?â I asked confused
âNo daddy you like that! We bought ice cream when we came back from meganâs house. Remember?â Oliver said licking his ice cream
âErm no I donât like this Oliver. Not anymoreâ he said and I rolled my eyes
âFine. Be like this Jaxon. Iâm trying to be good here. Iâm tryingâ I muttered and walked out the shop.
I walked to the forest and sat down on a log. The weather was sunny but now it was just cloudy.
âWhat the fuck! Your alive?â I heard someone say behind me and I smelt that it was chloe.
âFinally youâre here. How long did it take you to find me?â I asked turning around to see her leaning on a tree
âI wasnât even looking for you. I was here for Jaxon. After you killed James, I had to do everything alone. I was hiding for a while and then thought I can come back and kidnap Oliver. Just to make sure Jaxon stays with me!â She explained her stupid plan to me.
âReally? Hiding? Were you scared? And kidnap Oli? I hardly think Jaxon would have stayed with you if you kidnapped his son? Kind of stupid plan donât you think?â I said and she rolled her eyes
âWell... Now all I have to do is get rid of you. And itâs easy.â She said charging at me and changing into a blonde colour wolf.
She bit my shoulder and I threw her away and she fell to the floor, growling at me.
âNobody and I mean nobody takes Jaxon away from meâ I shouted making a big shield around her.
âIâm sick of tired of your stupid games chloe. Sick and tired. I didnât do anything to you because I know you were under James spell. I saw all. Remember when I used my powers on you? Well I saw it. And I thought if James is dead, then the spell would be broken and you would be okay again. But no! Youâre still after MY MATE! And itâs ridiculous. Bitchâ I shouted putting my hand forward.
âI did warn you chloe. I did. But no! You didnât listenâ I shouted twisting my hand around a little and she shifted back into her human self.
âAhh. Stop!â She screamed and I shook my head.
I was draining all the air and water out of her.
âNo! I told youâ I shouted and pulled my hand back as she fell to the floor, dead.
âI fucking told you! Nobody takes Jaxon away from meâ I yelled removing the shield from her.
âNo one!â I screamed falling to the floor as my wound healed on its on.

âMommy? Daddy I found mommyâ I heard Emily shout before she ran towards me and hugged me.
âIâm sorry mommy. Daddy was only joking. He did eat the ice cream. He ate it allâ Emily said wiping my eyes
âItâs okay Emily. Letâs go shoppingâ I mumbled standing up and wiping my eyes as Jaxon and Oliver ran to me.

âMe and mommy are going shopping. Daddy? You canât come with us! Oli do you want to come with us?â Emily asked and Oliver nodded and ran towards me holding my other hand as kyle and Ryan ran towards us and looked confused.
âBethany?â Kyle asked and I sighed.
âGet rid of it. Iâm going shoppingâ I said and pulled Oliver and Emily out of the forest. I found the car and thankfully Emily had the keys. Not sure how she got them though.
I put them both in their seats and sat in the driverâs seat.
âErm mommy? You clothes is rippedâ Oliver said and I looked at my shoulder to see a piece missing.
âItâs okay. Itâs only a small piece. Iâll buy more things. Shall we go?â I said and they both nodded.
I wanted to try the new human mall because I heard Rachel say itâs amazing. I drove to the mall and parked outside.
âCome onâ I said helping them out the car and we walked inside.

âMegan!â Oliver shouted as we entered pizza hut.

I walked towards him and smiled at the woman.
âOli donât run away from me. Okay?â I said and he nodded
âYes mommy. Mommy this is my best friend, Meganâ he said pointing at her
âOli I thought you mom was dead?â The little girl asked and her mom pulled her hand
âMegan. You donât talk like that. Sorry about her. My name is Erica. Oh hey Jaxonâ she waved to someone behind me
I turned around to see Jaxon and he was smiling at her.

âHi Ericaâ he said walking closer to her and smiling at her.
âHey Jaxon. I was thinking maybe megan and Oliver can have another play date?â She said and Jaxon nodded
âSure!â He said and I rolled my eyes
âWe have to go.â I said and Erica nodded
âOkay. How about we do the play date today Jaxon? You can come as well?â She said looking at Jaxon and he nodded
âSure. Oliver do you want to go?â He asked and I groaned.
âJaxon we have to go. And no! Oliver doesnât want to go. Come on Oliverâ I said grabbing Oliverâs hand and pulled him and Emily out of the shop.

âNo! Weâre going to McDonaldâs. Who wants to go there?â I asked and they both nodded
âYes mommy!â They both exclaimed and I nodded
âJaxon ho-â I turned around to see Jaxon not behind me. He was in pizza hut talking to Erica.
âIâll be back. You guys stay here. Donât move at allâ I mumbled and they nodded and held each others hand and I walked inside the shop.
I walked towards Jaxon and grabbed his hands. I could feel the sparks and my heating up my hand. It felt good
âHe is MINE!â I growled and pulled Jaxon out of the shop.
âBet-â I turned around and kissed him.
He wrapped his hands around me and kissed me back.
âI hate you Jaxonâ I mumbled against his lips and he smirked

âNo! You hate me right? So many stupid woman are after you! I hate itâ I groaned

âUghhhhâ I heard Oliver and Emily shout and I let Jaxon go.
âWe have enough clothes. And letâs eat because we need to get homeâ I mumbled as Jaxon intertwined our hands together.

It was 9.00 and I had just put Oliver and Emily in their rooms. Jaxon had bought another bed and put it in Oliverâs room for Emily.
I walked to my room to see Jaxon walking out the bathroom, only in his boxers.

âCherry..â he smirked and I rolled my eyes
âWhy werenât you talking to me Jaxon?â I asked changing into bed shorts and a tank top.
I laid in bed next to him and he held my hand.
âBecause cherry I wanted you to understand what I go through everyday. I make promises and I canât even keep them because you leave. I havenât even had 1 years without you leaving or dying. Itâs fucked up.â He said hoovering over me
âJaxon I couldnât do anything about it. I had to protect everyone from James and we know it was meant to happen. I didnât want to go Jaxon but I had to. And then the moon goddess said I had to come back and protect everyone from chloe. So I did! And Iâm allowed to stay. Emily as wellâ I replied and he nodded
