"Where the hell did you disappear to?" Susan asks me when I arrive to work the next day. "Emergency visit to see my brother."
"Did something happen? Is he okay?" I smile at her, "Yeah he's fine, just family stuff." I hate lying to everyone.
She nods and continues her work. Today I have to tell Tyler about what happened while I was away, and to say I was nervous would be an understatement.
When the work day ended I walked with Tyler down to the cafe we usually eat it. It was better to tell him in a public place so hopefully he won't yell at me too much.
"So you said you wanted to talk to me about something?" He asks. I nod and take a deep breath, "Yes, well something happened on my unexpected trip."
"Like what? Did you get hurt?" He asks. I shake my head, "No I um.. there was this guy." His expression changes, he looks sad and disappointed already, "You found someone else?"
I shake my head quickly, "No, not at all. I hate this guy actually." He lets out a breath of relief. "That's good to hear then."
"No Tyler, he kissed me." Tyler is quiet for a moment lost in his own thoughts. "But you don't like him or anything right?" I shake my head, "I can't stand the guy, his kiss threw me off guard."
"Did you push him off?" He asks. There it was, the big question. I didn't push him off, I let him kiss me and I don't know why. "Yeah, of course I did."
Lying whore.
Tyler smiles, "Then it's okay, you obviously don't like the guy, and you're probably never going to see him again anyway." I let out a sigh of relief, "Yeah you're right, thank you Tyler."
He smiles, "No problem, now why don't you slide over here for a proper kiss?" I blush lightly before moving to his side of the booth. He leans in and kisses me and it feels nice, but it doesn't feel the same as the other times he's kissed me. And I can't help but to compare it to my kiss with Josiah, and Josiah was a great kisser as much as I hate to it admit it.
Tyler pulls away with a smile on his face, "I've really missed you." He says as he tucks a curl behind my ear. I smile, "I missed you too Tyler."
We spent the rest of dinner talking and eating. I stayed on his side of the booth so I could lay my head on his shoulder, it was really romantic and I didn't think about Josiah till after Tyler dropped me off at home.
"So how did it go?" Rosa asks when I enter the room. I smile at the girls, "It went great, he wasn't mad."
"He wasn't?" Mitchie asks in a surprised tone. I shake my head, "Nope."
"Wow you've really got a great guy."
I smile cheekily, "I know."
I hang out with the girls a little bit before heading off to bed.
The next morning is a Saturday, the girls are off from work and so am I so we decided to have a girls night out later. But I'm spending the afternoon with Tyler at his place. It'll be my first time going to his place and I'm only a little nervous.
I get ready and put on a simple but cute outfit, a halter top and some high waisted jeans. I arrive at his condo at around 1:00 pm and knock on the door.
"Hey beautiful." He smiles opening the door for me. "Hey handsome." I flirt back. He lets me inside and shuts the door behind him. His house has a very strong bachelor pad look to it, the typical pool table, flat screen tv, she comfy couches. "Nice place." I compliment.
"Thanks can I get you anything to drink? Water, juice, wine?" He asks. "Water would be fine, thanks." He nods and heads over to the kitchen, I take a seat on the couch and wait for him to return. When he does he has a tray with two cups of water and some cookies on it.
"Sugar cookies, your favorite." He smiles placing the tray in front of me. "Aww thank you, I didn't think you'd remember that."
"There's nothing about you I think I could forget." I smile at him and bite a cookie, "Did you make these?" I ask. He nods, "Grandmas recipe."
We cuddled most of the afternoon, watching movies, occasionally making out, and talking. "How can you even afford to live here alone?" I ask.
"Inheritance my darling, my grandfather put me in his will instead of my father. They weren't really on good terms for a long time, so I got everything when he died." Speaking of wills, "Is there a way to get out of someone's will if they've already passed?" I ask.
He shrugs, "Im not really sure, but it's not like I want to get out of his will. Are you trying to get out of someone's will?" I shake my head a little too quickly, "No of course not."
"Alright well I'm gonna get our food started."
"I can help you, I'm great at cooking." I say following him to the kitchen. He shushes me, "I'm sure you are, but I want to treat you and I want you to relax."
"But I want to help." I pout. "Next time, I promise. Here's the tv remote in case you get bored." He says as he tosses the remote to me. I sigh and head towards the couch.
I watch tv for a while until Tyler comes out of the kitchen and leads me back to the kitchen. "Dinner is served m'lady." He says as he pulls out a chair for me. On the table there's well cooked steak and mash potatoes with some green beans. Also on the table a full mouth watering chocolate cake, and a bottle of wine.
"Oh my God, Tyler you didn't have to go this all out." He shakes his head, "Of course I did, only for the best." He kisses my head before leading me to my seat.
After eating all I wanted to do was sleep, the food was delicious, and the wine was exquisite as well. We were sitting on the couch just talking to each other, I didn't even feel like going home.
As I'm talking he looks down at my lips and back up to my eyes as if he wants to kiss me again. He leans in and shuts me up mid sentence with a kiss. He kisses me with full passion and his hands are on the sides of my face. They move down my body and all of a sudden I'm lifted on top of him.
A little more into the kiss he breaks away and kisses down my neck and lays me down onto the couch. I quickly pull away when he starts trying to get off my shirt. "Hey stop." I tell him. He stops immediately and sits up. "What's wrong?"
"I'm not ready for that, it's still really early in the relationship." He nods seeming to understand, but the disappointment written all over his face. "Oh yeah I get it, sorry I didn't mean to rush you. Whenever you're ready."
I nod, "I think I should go now."
"Oh um, okay I'll drop you off." I stand up and pick up my purse and he goes to grab his keys.
The drive home was quiet and kind of awkward. Tyler was a great guy, I just wasn't ready to do that with him, with anyone as a matter of fact. He drops me off and I give him a kiss on the cheek before heading inside.
"Where have you been? You were supposed to be back two hours ago so we could have a girls night out." Mitchie asks. "Tyler wanted to have sex." I blurt out. Both of the girls look at me, "And did you?" Rosa asks.
I shake my head, "No, of course not, I told him I wasn't ready and he took me home."
"Well good for you then. Wait till you're ready."
I nod, "Yeah, well I think I might need a girls night, you guys still up for it?"
The girls jump up out of their seats, "Of course we are, we're taking you clubbing missy." Rosa smirks. "Clubbing? Last time I went clubbing I pissed off a mafia boss."
"He's not in the mafia Cam, and just be careful about who you talk to. Just stick with us, you have a boyfriend now anyway so you shouldn't be talking to anyone." Mitchie reminds me.
"You're right, I'm gonna get dressed."
"Right behind you!" Rosa calls out and Mitchie follows behind. By the time we're all dressed it's around 10 pm. Rosa is wearing a black mesh see through top with a nude pink skin tight skirt, Mitchie is wearing a black halter top dress, and I'm wearing a red off the shoulder dress.
"If I were a group of dudes I'd get a boner just looking at us." Rosa says flipping her hair. Mitchie and I burst out laughing but nod in agreement, "We do look great." I compliment.
"Great? We're fucking stunning, now let's go fuck shit up." Mitchie says as she opens the door for us. I laugh at my two best friends and we head down to the car. I'm the designated driver because now I'm the only one who has a boyfriend, but I've always been the designated driver because I don't enjoy drinking.
When we arrive to the club we get in our usual way and begin partying. The girls force me down from the table to dance and I find myself having a good time. Eventually the girls start drinking and try to encourage me to as well. "Come on Cam you never drink! Just a little." Mitchie encourages.
"I'm driving us home remember? Do you want to die tonight?" I remind her. "That's what Uber's for babe, we can get the car in the morning." Rosa pipes in.
I shake my head, "Maybe another night." They shrug, "Alrighty." I continue dancing with the girls until Rosa starts getting cozy with this guy and they leave the dance floor leaving me and Mitchie. A little bit after the same thing happens to Mitchie and she winks at me before leaving the dance floor.
I didn't feel comfortable dancing without the girls so I head over to the bar for a drink. "Can I get a Pepsi?" I ask the bartender. "Ice or no ice?"
"Ice please." He nods and gets me a drink.
Suddenly a drink is slid in front of me and it's not a Pepsi. I look up to see Lancing, the man from the party in front of me, offering me a drink. "Funny seeing you here."
I laugh awkwardly, "Um yeah hi."
"Where's your employer?" He asks. Employer? "Who?"
He chuckles, "Big jo of course, you are one of his escorts right?" I nod, "Oh yes right. I'm just off for the night."
"Just my luck then. Do you have a business card? I'd love to hire you one day." I shake my head, "No not on me, sorry."
He nods, "I see. I bought you a drink." He pushes the drink in front of me.
"Oh no thank you I don't drink alcohol." He laughs, "And why not?"
I shrug, "I'm just not into it."
The bartender finally hands me my soda after a million years and I thank him. "What a shame." I nod and awkwardly take a sip of my drink.
Lancing continues to try to make conversation with me throughout the whole night, and I try to dismiss him in a polite way. As the night goes on my head starts to hurt and my vision slowly deteriorates. "Um excuse me I need to use the restroom." I get up from the bar stool and head to the restroom but I feel myself being followed.
Before I can even make it to the bathroom my vision is completely out of loop and everything goes black.
