CHAPTER 59
Forced QUEEN
The tension in the air was so thick it felt like it could snap at any moment. Vidyuth's eyes were locked onto Vedansh, who had a glint of determination in his gaze, as if he was planning something. The moment hung heavy, the weight of George's actions and words pressing on everyone in the room.
Suddenly, a gunshot rang out, sharp and jarring, cutting through the silence. The sound of Dominic's agonizing cry echoed in the vast hall as George's bullet struck him in the knee, sending him crashing to the ground. The pain was evident in Dominic's eyes, but the worst part was the look of betrayal and fury in his expression as he fought to stay conscious.
"Don't you dare, Vidyuth!"
George's voice was cold, filled with venom.
"Two years ago, you supported Dominic. Now, you'll see what happens when you side with him."
Meera, already overcome with anguish, couldn't hold it back anymore. Her heart shattered as she cried out, her voice raw,
"George, he is my brother!"
Her tears fell freely, the pain of seeing her once-beloved friend turn into a monster overwhelming her.
But George wasn't swayed. His words were like daggers as he spat,
"Same brother who killed my family, Miri! Don't you get it? He's the reason my life was destroyed!"
The room seemed to spin as Meera's heart squeezed in her chest. She had never expected George to harbor such hatred, to see Dominic as the cause of all his suffering. The truth, as twisted as it was, felt like it was consuming them all.
As the tension reached its peak, a glimmer of hope flickered. Vedansh's eyes narrowed, his mind working quickly. He saw the opportunity to act, and in that moment, he made his move. With a swift motion, he managed to outsmart George, taking control of the situation just enough to disarm him.
Aroohi, ever the quick thinker, quietly moved behind George and gave him a soft but firm push, knocking him off balance. The chaos in the room seemed to pause for a brief second as Vedansh grabbed the gun from George's hand, holding it steady. There was a collective sigh of relief from their group. It seemed like they had regained control.
But just as they thought they were in the clear, the doors to the hall crashed open, and another figure appearedâone that no one had expected.
The momentary relief vanished, replaced by a new, more intense anxiety. The figure that entered was shrouded in darkness, their features hidden beneath a mask. The presence was heavy, commanding, and the way the person moved, with purpose and quiet authority, was enough to send a chill down everyone's spine.
Before anyone could react, the figure stepped into the center of the room, their voice cutting through the tension.
"Well, well. What do we have here?"
The voice was low, smooth, with an unmistakable hint of danger and familiarity.
Everyone froze. Even George, who had been the source of so much chaos, seemed momentarily taken aback. Vidyuth's hand tightened around the gun, his eyes scanning the newcomer for any sign of recognition.
Meera's breath caught in her throat. She couldn't quite place it, but something about this figure seemed eerily familiar. A part of her wondered if this was another player in the twisted game that had already cost them so much.
The figure slowly lowered their mask, revealing sharp, calculating eyes.
"I see we're all gathered for a family reunion of sorts,"
the person remarked, their gaze sweeping across the room.
The room was silent except for the pounding of hearts, the weight of the new threat settling over them like a dark cloud. George looked at the figure, his surprise turning into confusion.
"What the hell you are doing?"
he growled, his anger still simmering beneath the surface.
The figure smiled, a cold, knowing smile, before responding.
"You don't know? Well, that's hardly surprising. It's been a long time, hasn't it, Boss -Â sorry sorry George?"
In that moment, the air grew thick with the unsaid, and every person in the room could feel that this was a twist none of them had seen coming.
The moment the mask was removed, the room seemed to freeze in time. Everyone's eyes were locked on the man who had just revealed himself. Meera's breath caught in her throat as her mind raced to process the truth.
Standing there, his cold eyes gleaming with malice, was none other than Rohit Roy. The man she had never expected to see again, the man who had been reason why she lost her parents perhaps killed them, was now standing before her as a disaster.
"Rohit..."
Meera whispered, her voice barely audible as her mind struggled to grasp the reality of the situation.
"Surprised to see me?"
Rohit smirked, his voice dripping with arrogance.
"You thought you were done with me, didn't you? Your fucking dad built the business empire to hand over it to that outer shit"
Rohit pointed through his gun at Dominic, George, standing beside him, The man who had always been his puppet had just stepped out from the shadows. now trying to dominate him.
"You piece of shit"
George groaned, but before he could say anything further, Rohit silenced him with a wave of his hand.
"Don't waste your breath, George,"
Rohit said coolly, his eyes narrowing as he focused on the others.
"It's too late for you. You're nothing but a tool in my game. Just like Mannara was right Vidyuth"
Rohit's men, all armed and ready, moved to surround the group. The atmosphere in the room became suffocating, the tension thick enough to cut through with a knife. Vidyuth, Vedansh, Dominic, Rohan and Aroohi stood their ground, their eyes wary, calculating every move. The situation had shifted once againâwhat they had hoped would be a final victory was now spiraling into chaos.
"Back off, Rohit,"
George warned, his voice tense.
"You've lost. This is between me and them now. You're out of this."
He was trying to regain control, trying to assert some authority.
Rohit's lips curled into a sardonic grin.
"Oh, George, you are the steps to reach them"
George's face twisted in a mixture of anger and disbelief, but Rohit wasn't finished. His eyes flickered to the others, his voice rising with a Over confidence.
"And as for all of you, well, I have plans for each of you. You think you can just come in and disrupt my plans? That's cute, I will kill every one if you don't hand over me the company"
Vidyuth, who had been silent throughout the exchange, finally spoke, his voice low but laced with a chilling promise.
"You think you will take the company so easily, it belongs to Aditya uncle now belongs to Dominic and Meera"
But Rohit just laughed, the sound echoing around the room as he took a step forward, closer to Meera.
"You still don't get it, do you? It's already too late. You're already too late. I've been waiting for this moment. You have no idea what I've planned for you."
His men tightened their grip on the group, and for a brief moment, it seemed like all hope was lost. The realization settled in: Rohit was far more dangerous than they had anticipated.
Rohit's overconfidence was palpable, and it only made the situation more perilous. His smirk grew wider as he noticed the panic that began to flicker in their eyes.
"You think you can beat me?"
Rohit taunted, his gun aimed at the group.
"Let's see how you do with this."
At that moment, Aroohi, who had been quietly observing, narrowed her eyes. With quick reflexes, she slid her hand inside her jacket, reaching for the concealed weapon. She wasn't about to let Rohit take them down so easily.
The tension in the room was suffocating, every second dragging on as if it might be their last. Rohit's cold, calculated gaze never wavered from George, the gun in his hand steady as he pointed it directly at him. The air was thick with the threat of violence, and everyone seemed to hold their breath.
"First, I'll kill you, All you did treated me like a puppet"
Rohit snarled at George, his finger tightening on the trigger.
"Then that girl... my brother's daughter. You love her, don't you? that why you ordered me to not kill her, How will you live with the thought of taking her life?"
Meera's heart dropped at his words, and she felt the weight of the situation crash down on her. She couldn't let George die. She couldn't let this nightmare spiral out of control any further.
"Uncle, no!"
Meera cried out, her voice cracking with desperation as she lunged toward George, her eyes wide with horror.
"Please, he's my best friend! Don't do this!"
George, stunned and overwhelmed by the revelation, was momentarily frozen. His mind raced, trying to process the emotional storm Meera's words unleashed. He had always known Meera as someone special to him, it seemed like the world had stopped spinning.
Rohit, seeing the hesitation in George's eyes, scoffed.
"You really think you can save her, George? and live with her, and happy ever after?"
His hand tightened around the gun, and Meera's blood ran cold. She could feel the weight of the impending threat on her own life. But just as it seemed that Rohit was about to carry out his threat, the sharp sound of a gunshot rang through the room.
The bullet whizzed through the air with deadly precision, striking Rohit's hand, making him drop the gun in pain. The room went deathly silent as everyone's eyes snapped to the source of the shot.
Rohit recoiled, clutching his palm as the gun clattered to the ground. His face twisted in a snarl of agony and surprise. But before he could react, a voice filled the silence.
"Don't make the mistake, Rohit."
Vidyuth, standing at the far side of the room, had fired the shot. His eyes burned with fury, his hands steady as he lowered the gun. The shot had been perfect, a clear warning. His voice was low but filled with an unshakable resolve as he stepped forward, his gun still trained on Rohit.
"You think you can control everything, huh?"
Vedansh stepped in, his gaze unwavering from the wounded man before him.
"You think you can just take Meera's life like it's nothing?"
His words were sharp, cutting through the tension like a blade.
"Not while we're here."
Meera, still reeling from the chaos, looked at Vedansh in shock. Her emotions were all over the place, but in that moment, a sense of relief washed over her. Vedansh had just saved George. He had saved her.
Rohit stumbled backward, rage flashing in his eyes as he looked at his bleeding palm. His men shifted uneasily, unsure of what to do. The balance of power had shifted in the room, and Rohit's arrogance was beginning to crack.
"You're too late,"
Rohit spat through gritted teeth, struggling to maintain control.
"You don't understand. All of thisâeverythingâis because of your fathers, your families. It's too deep, too far gone."
"But it's not too late to end it, Rohit,"
Vidyuth said, his voice cold, full of quiet authority.
"Your game ends here. You won't control anyone anymore."
Rohit sneered, his breath ragged with frustration. His men were unsure of what to do next, but Rohit, driven by fury and desperation, gestured for them to stand their ground. But the doubt in his eyes betrayed his uncertainty, in matter of seconds Vidyuths mens enetered they were many in minutes they knocked out of each Rohits man.
Rohit's expression flickered for a moment, and for a brief second, there was a trace of something human in his eyes. But it was gone as quickly as it had appeared, replaced by the hard, cold mask of a man consumed by revenge.
"You think I'll stop now? After everything?"
At that moment, Dominic, still on his knees, looked up with fire in his eyes.
"You're done, Rohit, you killed your own brother to property and you even forced yourself on My sister who was like daughter to you"
He said, his voice filled with a rage and a quiet strength.
"You've already lost."
The room was a tense standoff, each moment hanging in the balance. Rohit's men were still are on the ground, unsure of how to react to the shifting dynamics.
"I don't leave you Ill kill you I'LL KILL YOU"
Rohit had gun in his both hands, The gunfire had changed everything. And for a moment, it seemed like victory was within reach. The bullet hit side wall of Dominic since he was in left side of Rohit, but on the other hand the bullet pieced through Georges collarbone, making Meera run to him.
The chaos inside the mansion reached its breaking point. Vedansh, struggling to stay conscious, pulled Meera closer, he took the bullet which meant for meera, his blood staining her hands as she tried to stop the bleeding. His voice, weak but determined, broke through the tension.
"Meera,"
He said, his breath labored,
"you're my... step.....sister. I'm Adi-tya Roy's...... son."
