CHAPTER 57

Forced QUEEN

The air in the private jet like a room was thick with tension, the looming fear of Meera's abduction pressing heavily on everyone's minds. The clock was ticking, and every second felt like a lifetime to Vidyuth, Dominic, Rohan, Vedansh, and Aroohi. The mission to save Meera had become a matter of life and death, and they were prepared to move heaven and earth to get her back.

Vidyuth, more determined than ever, had become a different man. His usual composure had been replaced with a raw, dangerous energy. His words, dripping with cold fury, were laced with the promise of destruction.

"If anyone lays a finger on Meera, I will burn them alive"

Vidyuth declared, his voice low and dangerous, every word filled with conviction. His jaw clenched, and the fury in his eyes could have set the world ablaze.

"I will burn the world down to the ground to save her. No one will stop me."

Dominic, next to him, nodded, understanding the depth of Vidyuth's emotions. He too was not just fighting to save Meera; he was fighting for family. For years, Meera had been a part of his life in some way or another, but this was different. The thought of losing her, of seeing her in the hands of the Graysons, drove him to act. The last time they had dealt with the Graysons, it had cost them dearly, but this time, they would be prepared.

Dominic's plan was ruthless, but it had to be. With the best fighters in their arsenal, they had no room for failure. They would not stop until they had Meera safe and sound. He had already prepared the private jets, and all they had to do was get to Russia, follow the trail, and take down anyone who stood in their way.

"Rohan, get everything ready."

Dominic ordered. His tone was firm, not a trace of doubt in his voice.

"We have our men and add Russian army and cops too. We'll need the best."

Rohan, normally the easy-going one, was just as serious now. His protective instincts for Meera ran deep, and the thought of her being in danger left a bitter taste in his mouth. He knew the stakes were high, but there was no turning back now and on the top of that he kow if something happens to Meera Vidyuth will burn them alive.

"Don't worry, I'm already on it We are getting Russian Army's help"

Rohan said, his voice filled with resolve. He had never seen Vidyuth like this before—so vulnerable, yet so fierce. But he also knew that this was who Vidyuth was now, and he would do whatever it took to bring Meera home.

Vedansh, standing off to the side, still hadn't shared the truth. The truth that Meera wasn't just his business partner or colleague. She was his sister. His step-sister, but a sister nonetheless. The weight of the secret was almost unbearable, especially now that they were about to face the danger of the Graysons.

How could he tell them? How could he explain that Meera was the daughter of his estranged biological father, Aditya Roy? That for all these years, he had been searching for her, without knowing she was so near to him recently?

But now was not the time for confession. He had to focus on Meera.

Aroohi, noticing Vedansh's silence, stepped closer to him, offering a comforting presence. She could feel the emotional weight he was carrying, the unresolved turmoil inside him. She knew that he hadn't told them the full truth, but she also knew that the time for that would come later. For now, they had to work together.

"Roohi..."

Vedansh whispered, his voice breaking slightly.

"I... I never told them"

Aroohi placed a hand on his shoulder, her voice steady, despite the fear bubbling inside her.

"You don't need to explain yourself right now, Vedansh. We'll get through this together. Don't carry this alone."

And so each of them mentally preparing for the battle that awaited them. The Graysons had made a mistake by abducting Meera. This would not end well for them.

The jet soared through the skies, cutting through the clouds on its way to Russia. The uncertainty of the situation loomed in the air like a storm waiting to break. No one spoke much on the journey. Each person had their own thoughts, their own fears.

Vidyuth, sitting at the front, was lost in his mind. The note—the Russian address, the same address where they kept Adhiraj Rathore and Aditya Roy as hostage—kept replaying in his head. 'Let's see how you will save your wife's life.' His grip tightened on the armrest, a surge of anger coursing through him. Whoever is behind this will pay. He would make them pay.

Dominic was equally focused, his mind racing with plans and contingencies. He had been in situations like this before, but the fact that it was Meera in danger—someone he had known for years, someone who was more than just a business associate—made it more personal. He couldn't afford to fail.

Rohan, ever the strategist, was already making calls, getting the best team in position for when they landed. This wasn't just about saving Meera. This was about sending a message: if you messed with their family, you wouldn't get away with it.

The jet touched down in Russia with a quiet thud, and the team quickly disembarked, moving with precision.

As they closed in on their target, Vedansh's thoughts turned inward. He was doing this for Meera—for his sister, even though the truth had yet to be revealed. He had no idea how they would pull this off, but one thing was clear: they would stop at nothing to bring her home.

The Graysons had started this war, but now, it was their turn to face the wrath of those they had wronged.

The mansion loomed before them like a dark, foreboding fortress—a reminder of past horrors. The Graysons had used this place to imprison and torture Adhiraj and Aditya Roy years ago, and now, they had dared to kidnap Meera. The very thought of it sent a surge of anger through Dominic, Vidyuth, Vedansh, and the others. This was no longer just a rescue mission; it was personal.

Dominic's sharp eyes scanned the mansion's exterior as he led the charge, his hand instinctively gripping the gun in his holster. He was no stranger to dangerous situations, but the weight of this one was different. It was Meera, someone who had been part of his life for so long, and he couldn't—wouldn't—let anything happen to her.

"This ends tonight,"

Dominic muttered under his breath, turning toward Vidyuth and Vedansh.

"We'll breach from different angles. Keep your heads low and stay sharp."

Vidyuth, his jaw set in determination, nodded without a word. The fury in his eyes was the only answer Dominic needed. The last time they faced the Graysons, it had cost them dearly. But this time, they would be ready.

Vedansh, who had remained silent throughout the entire journey, checked his weapon one last time. His thoughts were still clouded by the emotional storm he had been carrying since learning of Meera's true identity. His biological father, Aditya Roy, had been a shadow in his life—distant, elusive—and now Meera, his sister, was the one in danger. The realization of his family ties and the urgency of saving her weighed heavily on him, but he had to focus. This mission wasn't about bloodlines or past family feuds. It was about saving Meera.

"We'll make it out alive,"

Vedansh said to no one in particular, his voice quiet but filled with resolve.

The three men split off, each heading in different directions around the mansion, guns at the ready and their fighters trailing behind them. The Graysons had made a serious mistake, and they would pay for it.

Meanwhile, Aroohi and Rohan were stationed at a vantage point, carefully monitoring the movements of the mansion's security. Aroohi, usually more inclined to socializing, had become deadly serious, her focus completely on the task at hand. She had always been a force of nature when it came to protecting those she loved, and now, there was nothing she wouldn't do to help Vidyuth get Meera back.

"I'll cover you from here, Rohan. You take the front entrance,"

Aroohi instructed, her voice steady. She knew the risks involved, but she also knew they had to be quick. Every second counted.

Rohan, the ever-reliable protector, flashed a quick grin before turning serious.

"You've got it. I'll make sure to draw their attention away but please be safe, or else Mr Vedansh will kill me"

He wasn't as skilled with a gun as the others, but he had other talents that would prove useful. A quick mind, agility, and a sense of humor that kept everyone grounded—even in the most intense of moments.

As they all moved closer to the mansion, the air grew heavier with tension. There were guards everywhere, patrolling the perimeter, but they hadn't yet noticed the intruders. They would have to move quickly, with precision.

Vidyuth, keeping low to the ground, slipped through the shadows, his movements fluid and quiet. His heart was pounding in his chest—not from fear, but from the overwhelming need to find Meera. His mind raced with thoughts of her safety. What if they were too late? What if she was already—

A crackling sound interrupted his thoughts. He quickly signaled to his fighters behind him, indicating that they needed to take cover. The mansion's main entrance was coming into view, and the guards were beginning to notice something was wrong.

"Stay quiet. We don't engage unless we have no choice,"

He whispered to his team. He wanted to tear through the mansion, break down every door until he found her, but patience was key. They had to be smart.

Dominic, on the other side of the mansion, was already inside the perimeter, moving swiftly toward the back door. His mind was a blur of plans—where would they keep Meera? What kind of trap had the Graysons set up this time? Every corner was a potential threat, and he wasn't taking any chances.

He reached a set of glass doors leading into the mansion's main hallway. Just as he was about to enter, he heard the unmistakable sound of footsteps. He ducked behind a pillar, his heart hammering as he held his breath. The Graysons had eyes everywhere, and he couldn't afford to make a noise.

Vedansh, meanwhile, had reached the west wing of the mansion. The mansion was a labyrinth, and he had no idea where they were holding Meera, but he had to trust his instincts. There was something in his gut telling him to go left, to follow the corridor that led toward a dark, secluded part of the mansion.

As the minutes ticked by, the air thickened with the anticipation of the impending confrontation. Aroohi and Rohan were still on standby, waiting for their moment to enter the fray. Aroohi, her eyes scanning the mansion's entrance, whispered to herself, And then, it happened.

An alarm sounded from somewhere deep inside the mansion, followed by a series of gunshots that rang out, echoing through the halls. It was the signal. Everything changed in an instant.

"Move!"

Dominic barked over his comms, rushing toward the sound of the shots. The mission was no longer a quiet operation. They had been compromised, and now, it was a race against time.

Vidyuth moved faster now, his gun raised as he cleared the hallway. He could feel the adrenaline coursing through him as he closed in on the source of the commotion. His only focus was on Meera. Nothing else mattered.

In the chaos, Vedansh found a hidden staircase leading to the mansion's underground basement. The moment he stepped down, he felt the familiar, chilling presence of the Graysons. They were waiting for them.

As the fight erupted, Vedansh stood his ground, determination flashing in his eyes. It didn't matter who was in his way. He had a family to save.

The Graysons had no idea what was coming for them. They had no idea who they were truly messing with.

And as the doors to the underground basement burst open, the final confrontation had begun. The rescue of Meera had turned into an all-out war, and none of them would stop until she was safe.

The moment Vedansh laid eyes on Meera, his heart clenched. She lay there, her body limp and pale, unconscious and vulnerable. The sight of her in such a state made his anger flare even brighter. He had to get her out of here—he had to save her, and nothing would stand in his way. He quickly knelt beside her, gently tapping her cheek to stir her from her unconscious state.

"Meera,"

He whispered urgently.

Her eyes fluttered open, still clouded with confusion. As her vision cleared, she saw Vedansh kneeling beside her. The sight of him should have brought comfort, but something was amiss. Her gaze darted around the dark, cold room, trying to understand why he was here. She had expected Vidyuth.

"Vedansh...? What are you doing here? its not its not safe fo-"

She murmured weakly, her voice laced with confusion. Vedansh's face softened, and he quickly tried to reassure her, his voice laced with concern,

"Don't worry, Meera. Vidyuth will be here soon. I'll make sure you're safe."

He started to work on the ropes binding her hands, his hands shaking with both urgency and the raw emotion of seeing her like this.

But before he could untie her, a sound broke the stillness of the room. The door creaked open, and Meera's heart skipped a beat. She turned her head, her gaze fixed on the figure that stepped into the room with pointed gun.

The man was familiar, but it took a second for the shock to hit her. It was George.
