Chapter 12.
Me , Sophia and Mali managed to get to the hospital on time without causing a big fiasco with the paparazzi.
It's not that i'm going to keep this a secret for much longer because eventually people will find out but i would like the fans to know from me and Calum rather then something in the tabloids. I was extremely nervous about this i dont know why , i know i shouldn't expect much since i'm only in the early stages of pregnancy and the most you will see is a blob.
''Okay Mrs Hood lay down on the bed.'' the nurse instructed , i did as i was told and lay down on the bed.
Mali and Sophia sits down on the chairs. The nurse pulls up my shirt revealing my stomach and the nurse takes out some sort of blue liquid. She squirts it onto my belly and i cringe at the feel of it , its very cold and sticky. She takes hold of some sort of machine stick thing and moves it around my stomach.
''There you are.'' she says , i look over to the screen to see a black and white image of a small round blob.
Realization hitting me that , that isn't just a bob thats my baby. Mine and Calum's kid. A tear rolls down my eye and i quickly wipe it. Mali and Sophia move closer and aw , Mali holds onto my hand and smiles down at me.
''So , do you know how many weeks you are?'' the nurse asks and i nod
''Yeah about three weeks.''
'Three?... Mrs Hood are you sure?''
''Well no , it all adds up though.''
''One second ,'' the nurse says moving the camera thing around my stomach
''Mrs Hood you are defiantly not three weeks , youre five at the least.''
''What!'' but that means that... oh shit. It was that night me and Calum got to france it was our honey moon night that we forgot about everything and made love for the first time. We've obviously had sex before then but that night was special it was slow , romantic and beautiful.
''Oh.'' i let out a sigh
''Have you been having bad nausea?'' the nurse asked and i nodded.
''When can i find out the gender?'' i asked looking up at the screen again smiling
''Most likely on the 18th or 21st week of your pregnancy... your next scan will be in...'' the nurse turned to her computer and types a few things. I wiped off the gell from my stomach and pulled down my top sitting up.
''In 9 weeks time. We will just be checking that your baby is growing and developing normally and to work out the estimated date of delivery'' she said
''Okay.'' i nodded standing up
'' Do you want the pictures?'' she asked , i nodded. Even though they were very un-clear pictures i still wanted them. I knew Calum would want to see as well.

The whole ride home i had a grin on my face. Mali dropped off Sophia first then dropped me home second , i would of invited her in for some coffee but she had to go pick Kimberly up from ballet class.
I made myself some orange juice then sat down in the living room watching the t.v. The home phone was flashing orange indicating there was a message i pressed the voicmail button and it turned out to be joys voice down the line.
''Hello sweetheart. I would just like to apologize for my actions the other day. It was rude of me to speak to you like that especially since you're my daughter in law. I was just surprised that is all i know you and Calum will be great parents and i hope you still want me as a grandmother. Good luck with the scan today and i hope you will forgive me.''
After the touching message she left me i decided to give her a call and sort things out between us. Even though the things she said may of been hurtful , she had the right to share her opinion with me and she had apologized so i should just forgive and forget ; In which i did.
Later that night i took Promise for a long walk around the block and ended up at my favorite cafe again. I wasn't entirely sure if i was allowed to take Promise with me in the shop but since im pratically family i didn't find it too bad to do. The place was still quiet but there was a few more people here then the last time i cam to visit.
''Rebecca.'' Aunt t smiled , giving me a small hug
''Hi Aunt T. You don't mind me bringing Promise in here do you?'' i asked , she shook her head and turned back to the kitchen returning with a bowl full of water setting it down in front of Promise. I thanked her and sat down at one of the stools.
''What brings you here then?'' she asks
''Well i still need to help you get this place popular again. So i might just take a few pics for instagram and such.'' i said , she nodded and handed me over my favorite coffee.
''Oh Aunt T , i can't drink that.''
''Oh sorry.'' she mumbled taking it back
''No i don't mean it like that. I mean... well um.. you was right. ''
''What?''
''Your predictions were right. I'm pregnant'' i smiled , Aunt T gasped and hugged me again. She smiled brightly and exchanged my coffee with a can of coke.
''Thats such great news!'' she smiled.
I kept my word to Aunt T and as she served customers i took a few pictures of the place. I even uploaded a selfie to instagram of me and Aunt T with the caption.
'Nothings better then coffee and cakes from Aunt Teresa's cafe.'
After talking with her for a few hours i said my goodbyes , and took a picture of the outside of the shop uploading it to twitter and instagram and walked off home. When i got inside i had made myself some food and then had a bath.
I jumped onto my bed and opened up my laptop , flicking threw twitter and talking to some fans , Calum began calling me on skype and i answered it. We were both quiet the tension was clearly high , you could cut it with a knife.
''Hi beautiful.'' he finally broke the silence
''Hi.'' i smiled back , he let out a sigh of relief and smiled back.
''I thought you'd be mad at me.'' he said , i shook my head.
''No , i was yesterday. But i'm not now. I love you.''
''I love you too.''
''Hows the tour?''
''Good.''
''The fans alright with the new music?''
''Cut the crap Rebecca, i wanna see the pictures!!'' he groaned , i giggled.
''Fine fine. It's not much its basically a white blob.'' i said holding the picture up to the screen , he smiled at the camera.
''Send me it please!'' he bounced up and down on the spot making me laugh. I took a photo of it on my phone and sent it to him. His phone made a noise of the other end of the skype call and he took it out pressing some buttons and his eyes lit up with excitement making my heart melt.
''So how was the scan?''
''It was fine. I have to go back in 9 weeks so they can determine the due date and such.''
''Alright i'll make sure i can co-''
''Calum'' i sighed
''What i'm not missing another one!''
'' I prefer you to come to the one where we can find out the gender.''
''Oh. How long is that?''
''13 to 16 weeks.'' i shrugged
''Thats so long.'' he groaned
''It's not that long , oh i almost forgot. I know i said was only 3 weeks in but it turns out i'm actually 5 so... it happend in-''
''Paris..'' he grinned , i giggled and nodded
''Its still such a long time away.'' he sighed
''I know baby. But i much rather you come to that scan then to the next one when it's still a blob again''
''But its our blob.'' he grinned. I grabbed a pillow and shoved it in my face to hide how cute that was.

''Okay baby i gotta go now..'' Calum said i pouted and begged him not to go at first then after another 5 minutes of cuteness i let him go.
''Alright , byeee love you!'' i blew a kiss in the camera and Calum pretended to catch it putting it on his lips. He is so cute yet cliche its hilarious.
''Oh and Calum?''
''Yeah?''
''We gotta tell the fans , i'm gonna post the picture on twitter maybe you can make a keek or something yeah?''
''Alright , i'll make an announcement at the show too. Speak to you tomorrow beautiful''

''Thank you bye.''
''Bye.'' i waved and stared at the blank screen for a few moments. I closed my laptop and crawled under the covers. I took out my phone and opened the twitter app and clicking on compose a tweet. I uploaded the baby scan photo and tweeted a caption of the cute quote Calum said tonight.

As soon as i pressed sent , the picture got favorites , replies , quotes and retweeded instantly. My mentions absolutely blew up. I chuckled and placed my phone down on the side and closed my eyes. A few moments into my nap my phone vibrated and i groaned looking at the notification. It was a keek notification for a subscription... well the only person i subscribe is the band account. I rubbed my eyes and sat up pressing play on the new video titled ''pre show NEWWWWWWWWWWWS''
It was a video of Calum holding the camera.
''Hi guys.'' he poked his tongue out
''So some of you guys will know that um me and uh Becky are expecting. I think thats what its called anyway. So um i really excited for her and i hope you guys support us in this decision i can't wait to be honest. I hope you guys are exited too and babe if your watching this i miss you so much.'' he smiled , the video ended with the other three guys running in behind him screaming.
''WE'RE HAVING ANOTHER BABY!!!'' , i laughed as i watched Calum grin and giggle as the guys jumped on him trying to get in the camera view. I exited the app and laid back down opening up twitter and ignoring the hateful comments and replying to some nice ones.

I retweeted and favorite all the guys tweets then i plugged my phone back into the charger and went back to sleep with a huge smile on my face. I was so glad everything was working out and thi didn;t have to be difficult like it could of been.
