Sunday Dinner
Three. The Perfect Number
MADISON
âLooks like someone got some sun this weekend,â Liam commented when Madison walked into the kitchen on Sunday evening.
âHey, sis.â He hugged her tightly.
âHey, Liam. Day went well?â She moved from his embrace to Ezraâs.
âYeah. Canât complain. It feels great to have the new gym finally open.â
âHow was your day off ?â Ezra asked her. âDid you see that guy you were dating?â
Though theyâd both been at the gym this afternoon, theyâd only seen each other in passing.
âYeah, it was good. The guy? Um, oh yeahâ¦I did. We hung out together at the beach on Saturday, and then had lunch by his pool today.â
And it was the truth, though not the ~whole~ truth. Her weekend had been wonderful. So much uninterrupted time with the twins, she felt spoiled with it.
Ezra pressed his lips together, obviously not pleased by her answer, so Liamâever the peacemakerâjumped in.
âWe can see that.â He pushed her hair away from her face, flipping the heavy mass behind her back. âLook how red your cheeks are!â
Ezraâs eyes dropped to her shoulder. âWhat the hell is ~that~?â
~Oh shit.~
Madisonâs hand flew to the faded love bite.
Sheâd left her hair down to air-dry after her shower and hadnât thought to re-apply the makeup.
âLeave me alone, guys,â she said, feeling her cheeks get hot.
âOoh, little Madison is blushing,â Liam teased, and she could tell he was trying to keep things light to make amends for the accidental reveal.
âShe has a hickey!â
âCome on, Ez, itâs no big deal,â Liam said, still laughing. âShe ~is~ twenty-one.â
âSheâs still a baby!â Ezra snapped just as Ethan and Levi walked in, making her blush only deepen. âWho did that, huh? Who is this guy?â
âEzra, give her a break,â Ethan said.
âYeah, itâs fine,â Levi added, giving her a brotherly side hug.
But Ezra just scowled. âItâs not fine at all.â
So Madison said the only thing she could think of to change the subject. âUh, Samâs coming over for dinner.â
Ezraâs eyes lit up. âShe is?â
Madison smothered a smile at how easily her brother had taken the bait, then elbowed Liam with a meaningful glance. Something was definitely going on there.
âOkay, well,â Ezra said, suddenly avoiding her eyes. âI donât know about Liam, but I need a shower. Maddi, will you order some food?â
She agreed, and both of her brothers headed for the stairs.
âAnd make sure no boys come in while weâre up there,â Ezra added darkly on his way out of the room.
âOh, if he only knew the boy heâs so mad at is actually us,â Ethan whispered once the coast was clear.
âWe missed you today, âFlake,â Levi said, then pressed his lips against hers, letting out a growl when hers parted to give him access to her tongue.
His hand moved softly from her face down her neck, then around her back until he had a grip firm enough on the small of her back to pull her body against his.
She felt his erection as the kiss became wetter and more heated.
Finally, he pulled away to take several deep breaths, and the look on his face was as hungry and lustful as Ethanâs, who was leaning against the kitchen island watching them.
âItâs going to be a long night,â Levi groaned, right before Samâs greeting echoed through the house.

Madison looked around the outdoor dining table.
It looked just like it had so many times in the past: Liam was at the head, Madison was crowded between the twins, and Sam and Ezra sat across from them.
Almost as long as Madison could remember, theyâd sat this way. There was hardly ever an âadultâ with themânot a real one anyway.
But things werenât ~exactly~ like before. The hands sliding in unison along each of her legs gave proof to that.
Madison took a huge bite of her pizza and pressed her thighs together, trying hard not to show anything on her face.
âSo, Madison. Any chance you could cover some classes for me tomorrow?â Liam asked.
The black circles under his eyes showed how tired he was. Getting the new gym up and running must have really taken it out of him.
âSure. What classes do you have?â
âUsual. Mixed adult, kids, and thatâs all for tomorrow. I canceled a one-on-one.â
She nodded and took another bite, then almost choked when she felt the twinsâ hands push their way between her thighs, then work together to ease them apart.
âHow come ~youâre~ so tired?â Ethan asked. âEzra seems fine.â He threw a piece of pizza at Ezra, who was weirdly silent, with his unoccupied hand.
âTell âem, bro,â Liam said.
Everyone looked expectantly at Ezraâexcept for Sam, Madison noticed.
âHeâs just annoyed because I went out last night instead of staying home and working on some last-minute stuff with him,â Ezra muttered. âBut he had ~Sara~ to help.â
He tossed the piece of pizza back at Ethan. âI hope youâre paying her ~a lot~ to put up with this workaholic.â
âWhat about you, Sam? Is there anything ~you~ would like to share?â Madison asked, working hard to control her breathing. Ethanâs fingers were now rubbing her pussy, covered only by a layer of already-quite-wet lace.
Thank God Liamâs attention was on the other side of the table. And that it was getting dark.
Sam blinked innocently. âWhat do you mean?â
âCâmon, Sam. I wasnât born yesterday.â
Sam slapped Ezraâs arm playfully. âI told you sheâd figure it out!â She gave Madison puppy-dog eyes. âHe forced me to keep it secret. I wanted to tell you.â
Whatever Madison might have said in reply was lost to a coughing fit as Levi pulled her panties aside to allow Ethan access to her bare skin.
Ezra scratched the back of his neck while he waited for her to stop coughing, then sighed. âItâs true. I did want to tell you, but it feels like youâve been avoiding me, like you donât want to talk to me anymore.â
He shrugged. âAnd I wanted all of us to be together when I told you. I figured youâd probably murder me otherwise. She ~is~ your best friend.â
Madison slammed her thighs together, forcing the twinsâ hands away. She needed to be able to focus on what she was about to say.
âYou thought I wouldnât be ~happy~ for you?â She pushed her skirt down, then stood and walked around the table to the new couple.
âWell, youâre wrong! Itâs ~because~ youâre my brother and ~because~ sheâs my best friend that Iâm happy. Thrilled, in fact. Youâre the people I love the most! Along with these other morons, of course.
âIf it so happens that the people I love the most can make each other happy, who am I to stop you? How selfish and unloving would that be?â
She wrapped her arms around Ezra's shoulders, hoping he was taking notes for when she told him ~her~ big secret.
âBut just so you knowâ¦you hurt her, and I ~will~ murder you.â She kissed his cheek to take the sting away before turning to Sam.
âAnd you! We have some serious talking to do, bitch.â Madison winked at Sam and kissed her on the cheek too.
âCâmere,â Ezra said, grabbing Madisonâs wrist and pulling her onto his lap. âI hate you, you know that?â
âWell, this went better than we thought,â Sam commented, then took a gigantic bite of her pizza.
âLove you,â Madison whispered in Ezraâs ear before standing up. âAnyone want a drink?â
Just as she expected, everyone nodded.
She was selecting beers from the kitchen fridge when two hands landed on her shoulders, making her jump.
