The Cover-up

Three. The Perfect Number

MADISON

As Madison continued to stroke Levi, Ethan reached between her legs and under her panties, pushing between her folds.

“Mm…just as I thought,” he whispered when he felt her wetness.

With one hand wrapped around his own twitching sex and the other inside Madison’s panties, he started to pleasure them both as she pleasured Levi.

Madison moaned as she squirmed greedily against his expert finger, and Levi growled under her touch.

Ethan brushed his wet tip against her back, his breathing becoming heavy, and with a few last strokes for himself and a few more circles on her clit, all three of them came undone at the same time.

Madison blushed, watching eagerly as Levi’s cum covered her hands and his abdomen and feeling Ethan’s hot on her back.

None of them could speak for a moment. The smell of sex was heavy in the room.

“I liked that,” Madison finally whispered.

Levi sat up and kissed her forehead.

“I did too,” he murmured.

“I did too,” Ethan assured her, then got out of bed and came back with two warm, wet washcloths, handing one to Levi and tenderly cleaning her off with the other.

After he was done, she rolled off Levi and found her space once more between the twins.

She turned on her side so her back was against Levi’s chest, then reached for Ethan’s face and caressed it.

Levi kissed her under her ear as Ethan kissed her lips one more time.

“Sleep well, ’Flake.”

***

Madison blinked her eyes a couple of times. Her face was pressed against Ethan’s chest.

~Mmm, what a perfect way to wake up~.

The three of them had fallen asleep intertwined, so it didn’t take long for her to feel both of the twins’ erections against her body.

Levi’s lips pressed against the bare skin of her back, and Ethan placed two fingers under her chin and lifted her sleepy face. “Good morning, ’Flake.” He brushed his nose against hers, and she giggled.

“Good morning.” She pressed her lips to his in a tender kiss and began to stroke his chest, then trailed her fingers down his perfect abs.

And that was when she heard it—the noise of pots clanging as someone took out a pan to cook breakfast.

She bolted upright in the bed.

Her brothers were up ~already~? The alarm hadn’t even gone off yet!

Shit.

It was probably Liam, who loved to start his day with a pile of scrambled eggs.

She grabbed her phone off the bedside table, as Ethan and Levi jumped out of bed and started to get dressed.

“The alarm didn’t go off! I must have set it wrong last night,” she said, staring at her screen in disbelief. “You guys gotta get out of here! Did I mention my brothers came into my room the other morning while I was sleeping? Shit. Shit. Shit.”

She jumped out of the bed herself and went to her drawer to grab a pair of fresh panties.

“On it, ’Flake,” Levi said as he pulled on his suit pants. “We can’t be late for court.”

She nodded and pulled a sports bra over her head. “You better get ready to sneak out. I think that’s Liam in the kitchen, but it could be both of them.”

Now fully dressed, they both kissed her tenderly.

“We’ll leave yesterday’s clothes behind. When you get a chance, just stick them in the hamper in our room, okay?”

They each gave her one last peck on the lips, and Ethan poked his head out to make sure the coast was clear before they snuck out of her room.

Anxious, she jumped back into bed and wrapped herself up in the comfy bedsheets, still covered in their smell, waiting to hear if they managed to sneak past her brothers.

After a few tense minutes, her phone lit up with a message.

Ethan

We’re out

Ethan

Best night ever, btw

Levi

Heads up though, we ran into Liam by the door but we acted like we just came in

Levi

We said we were picking up some papers and didn’t want to ring the bell in case they were still sleeping

Ethan

We’re pretty sure he bought it

Madison

I hope you’re right

Madison

Because I already miss you

After breathing a sigh of relief, Madison showered, scraped her wet hair into a messy bun, and got dressed for the gym.

Before heading downstairs, she checked her shoulder in the mirror. The love bite had faded a lot since Monday morning, but it was still visible, so she covered it up with some makeup.

Fortunately, the twins hadn’t given her any new ones last night.

When she stepped into the kitchen, Liam was still there, washing the pan and a couple of plates from breakfast. Ezra must’ve already eaten and left.

Something about the way her brother hunched over the sink struck Madison. Like something was weighing on him.

She really hoped seeing the twins this morning didn’t tip him off.

He looked up when he sensed her presence. “Hey, Maddi.”

She yawned and rubbed her eyes. “Morning.” She was exhausted. Though the missed sleep was totally worth it.

Liam went back to scraping the cast iron pan, and Madison watched him for a moment, then asked. “What’s up with you? You don’t seem like yourself.”

He glanced over and sighed. “Just the new gym. It looks like it’ll be able to open soon, but the delays have been costly.”

He put the pan on the drying rack and turned to Madison. “Want some coffee? There’s still some in the pot.”

She nodded, and he took a mug out of the cabinet and poured her a cup.

“How’s it been for you working at the gym this week?” he asked as he handed her the mug.

She took a few sips as she thought about her answer.

“Actually, it’s been harder than I expected.

“When I imagined what it would be like to join the family business, I always pictured the three of us together…working as a team. I know the past few weeks aren’t typical, but working there while barely seeing you or Ezra…

“It’s bringing up…~stuff ~for me.”

She paused.

“Stuff about our parents.”

Liam visibly winced, then rubbed his face. “I’m so sorry, Maddi. We tried to make it up to you, to be what you needed so you wouldn’t feel their loss.

“But I guess that isn’t really possible, is it? We were naïve to think it was. We should probably have got you therapy, but it never even occurred to us.”

He nudged her playfully. “I mean, you had the four of us knuckleheads. What more could you need?”

“I didn’t even know I was still carrying all this around, you know? I don’t think I realized how much it still hurt.”

Liam was silent for a minute. Then he said quietly, “I get it. It’s not easy when people leave without any explanation, especially when you’re left holding the pieces. I’ve been feeling it too, believe it or not.”

“You? You never seem like it bothers you.”

“I guess I’ve been good at hiding it too. Doesn’t make it any less real, though.” He paused. “Speaking of knuckleheads, I saw the twins sneaking around here this morning.”

She practically sprayed out her mouthful coffee.

“What? Why?” she choked out after finally swallowing it.

“Oh, they just let themselves in to grab some paperwork they left here. Our house is their house, and all that.”

He started to walk out of the kitchen. “I’m leaving in about fifteen minutes if you want to catch a ride with me. Oh, and sis?” He paused to look over her shoulder.

“Good job covering up that hickey. If I didn’t already know it was there, I’d totally miss it.”
