Chapter 74
Love After Divorce by BELLA
Chapter 74:.
Grandma had never known what had happened between Stella and Tristan. Just like that year when Tristan left town, Stella never told her grandmother the reason for his departure. She always refused or found random excuses.
After all, it wasnât something to be proud of. To the outside world, Tristan was still her brother.
Although they shared no blood relationship, they had lived together in the Richard family. After so many years, the outside world had identified their relationship as âbrother and sister.â
Of course, Grace felt the same way. She simply saw them as siblings and considered nothing else.
Then the grandmother said, âI met a friend at the hospital. Her granddaughter is very beautiful and cultured. Y...â
âGrandma,â Tristan interrupted her and said, âI already have someone I love.â
Stella was speechless. Graceâs jaw dropped, too. After a moment of awkwardness, Grandma put on a grim face and said with a smile, âOh.... Itâs my fault. I didnât ask...you already have someone you like. Then Grandma wonât introduce you to anyone.â
After that, Grace showed her concern as an elder. âWho is that girl, what does she do?â The grandmother added, âA girl who has caught Tristanâs eye must be very lucky!â.
Stella blushed and lowered her head. What the hell was going on? Why was it that whenever RK or Tristan came to visit Grandma, there always seemed to be something hidden in their conversations? Was there something ambiguous?
Compared to Stella, who was easily shy and embarrassed, Tristan was very calm, and his response was natural. He said openly, âYes, she is lucky! However, she doesnât know how to appreciate it.â
As he spoke, his indifferent gaze swept over Stellaâs face. It was as if the person he was talking about was her. Stellaâs face reddened again and she glared back at him angrily. Why on earth was he looking at her? Especially when he said she didnât know how to appreciate him!
Damn man! Didnât he know what kind of relationship they had? How could there be any other kind of relationship between them?
If these words came out, everyone would say it was immoral!
Grace followed Tristanâs gaze and looked at Stella as well, her eyes full of doubt. However, she didnât think too much about it.
After all, they had gotten along well for many years. Since childhood, they had only had a brother-sister relationship. Even if it were anyone else, they wouldnât think otherwise either.
Stories live now on galnÏí¿íâí¼.íoí¶ When they were in the Richard family, the family had never thought about it from this perspective. If Tristan had not been hiding his feelings so well all these years, everyone would have known. However, he had been hiding his feelings so as not to cause any psychological burden to Stella because of his personal feelings.
After all, at the time, she was still young, and he didnât want her feelings to affect his life. When Grace heard this, she did not yet know that âthat personâ Tristan was talking about was none other than Stella.
Grandma was very angry for Tristan and said, âThat girl must be ignorant! She doesnât know what sheâs missing. Tristan is such a good man. Women everywhere are fighting over him. Thereâs a line of girls chasing him from town to town. I think this girl has no good judgment!â
Stella was speechless. Grace still wasnât satisfied, however, and added gently, âTristan, if that girl comes, Grandma will talk to her. Iâll give her a good brainwashing.â
Stella sat next to him, her face flushed and pale as she listened. She felt like she was about to dig a hole in the ground to bury herself in.
Was she really her biological grandmother? Why did she always support outsiders? Why did she never support her?
Stella felt at a disadvantage because she knew that, whatever happened, it was not in her best interest to expose everything.
She could only listen in silence. She pretended it wasnât her they were talking about.
Tristan turned his head and looked at Stella. Seeing that her cheeks were slightly flushed, he realized that the girl was very shy, so he did not continue to talk to Grandma on this subject. However, Grandma was very enthusiastic.
Especially when it came to Stella and Tristan. Whatâs more, her grandmother had always treated Tristan as part of her family.
After all, Tristan had always been very kind to her granddaughter. For so many years, Stella had always been cared for by Tristan since she was a little girl.
Even when they belonged to the Richard family, Grace had always been grateful to him. After all, her granddaughter had grown up in the Richard family for so many years, and Tristan was the only one who really treated her well.
âTristan, you have Stella to thank for taking care of you for so many years. Sheâs been like half a father to you.â
