Afterword

I don't really know what to say. I wrote this in spring/summer of 2023, started posting it after it was complete, and then I just forgot about it. The whole scheduling chapters didn't work because I procrastinated on scheduling, and then I forgot about the novel and that there was anything to schedule at all, and now it's been almost 2 years. But hey, better late than never, right?

Despite the unedited status, I hope you've enjoyed this work.

I don't currently have any intention of doing anything with this novel—or any of my others posted to Wattpad, if you're familiar with them and statements I may or may not have made regarding fixing them up and self-publishing them. That's no longer on the docket; I'm writing newer, shinier (and hopefully better written, because it's been a few years and I'd like to think I've improved) projects that hopefully will be self-published in the near future. Within a few years at the latest, I should hope. I'm sure I'll make an announcement on my profile if there's ever anything to buy!

Thank you for reading this novel. It was fun to write, and it was one of my first attempts at completely finishing a novel before I started posting it, a skill I'd always been envious of. I never knew how authors who did that maintained the energy to write the full thing without the rush of comments and kudos! But I enjoyed writing it nevertheless, and I've gotten a lot better at that process.

Currently, I'm writing a series of novellas in a contemporary(ish) setting with immoral/gray morality leads and insta-obsession tropes, and that's the closest to what I would consider "may actually get published (in exchange for money!) this decade". It's very silly and self-indulgent, but publishing is scary, so I might as well start off with something that makes me happy to write. I haven't been doing much on it lately, though... Well, wish me luck!

Sorry about leaving you guys hanging with this novel for so long.
