[ Aru's P.O.V]    " So what was this all about?", I ask her and once again her head hangs low. " My friends pulled a prank. I didn't know they actually would. They texted me a location and called me over , I thought it would be usual hangout but -", she stopped at that. I had a feeling she was keeping something but I didn't voice my concern. I would like to believe that's how it is.     " Err...your jacket. ", I hand it over since I have nothing more to say or do. She grabs it and gives me a faint smile. We sit in more silence for some more time. " When will you be coming to college?", I ask fidgeting nervously with my fingers. I don't know why would I ask that but my common sense tells that's the most casual question you ask in such conversations. " Missing me?", she teases and I roll eyes. She's back at it. Bold of me to even assume this girl can be sad and serious.     " In your dreams. ", I snap and stand up to leave. She chuckled behind me and I don't have to see to know she's enjoying it. " Leaving already? Why don't you join us for dinner?", her dad steps in with a polite smile and asks. " Thank you uncle. But I would rather head home. My parents must be waiting.", I say with a slight bow and he permits me to leave without further protest unlike my grandmother who would literally thrust a whole meal down the guests before letting them step out.      Vibha sees me till out still dragging around her annoying smirk. " What's so funny?", I ask her as she wraps her hand around her main gate leaning on it with a bright so smile. " You came all the way to see me? Worried about me?", she asks . " Who came to see you. I had to return the jacket. ", I reply. She giggled. " Atleast you could have lied to keep my feelings?", she asks with a pout. I didn't have to. " Come from tomorrow.", I literally order her as I rush my way out. " Okay your highness.", she teases. " Go safe. Dream of me .", I hear her shout but no I am not turning back. [ Vibha's p.o.v]    The three days had been nothing but stressful to me. I didn't know how to explain at first and I was hurt but thinking it through I felt wronged to not even be heard once and straight up accused. I and dad never had a talk after that. I never talked to anyone else as well. Skipping college wasn't a big deal to me but I was kind of upset since no one tried checking on me. Okay that someone had to be Aarushi and she didn't. God I was so annoyed and for the very reason found my way to blame it all on her until she literally showed up at my doorstep today.     Turned out she didn't have any idea about all this and she just came to return my jacket. I would have felt better if she had said to see me but I know her , never expected. I lost it all when she started defending me over a situation she had no idea about. I mean she had no reason or solid proof to accuse me but none to defend either then why would she.If I didn't think she would amuse further she did it anyways by crying on my behalf. I should be worried and comforting but I was shocked. So I ended up getting on her nerves till she left. I am sure she must be cursing me all the way back to her home but that's cute . As long as it's her , it's all cute . I stepped in and there stood my dad with his head down like a sad teddy. " I am sorry for accusing you without first asking you to explain. Forgive your Dad. ", he for once sounded sincere while apologising like he did regret it. Usually, it's just us joking around. But I can't let the mood be tense. " You know you ain't escaping it with just a sorry, right?" , I asked him and he nodded trying to pout. I wish I could tell him that looks stupid on him. " Then you got make the dinner tonight . ", I demand and he nods. " Anything my princess wants. ", He says giving me a dramatic royal bow. I can't with this grown up baby.      I skip back to my room grabbing my phone and jumping on my bed. I scroll down ignoring all the chats finding Arushi's. She must have reached by now. I have no reason to do so but I anyways text her. Not like she'd consider it anything more than me trying to get on her nerves. [ On Text ] { I will only be using initials instead of full name.
