Chapter 86

Wake Up! You’re My Ex Now (Cordelia)

Chapter 86 I'm Not Interested in Other Women

Elijah turned around and saw Cordelia standing not far away. “Alright. I

have to go.”

Soon, he ended the call with Eva and walked over to Cordelia.

“Violin Fairy?” He playfully teased as he placed his hand on her

shoulder.

Cordelia lowered her gaze. Her bright eyes lost their luster.

“Let's go home.”

Seeing her lack of enthusiasm, Elijah wisely didn’t continue to tease her.

He opened the car door and sent her inside.

Cordelia had been busy all night and only now found a moment to

check her phone.

Both Eason and Adam had sent her messages. Surprisingly, they both

sent the same sentence, not even a word different.

[You are the best, Cordelia.]

The favor took aback Cordelia.

She had grown up with her grandmother and didn’t have any

siblings. The sibling bond that Eason and Adam showed her was quite

unfamiliar.

It was said that time revealed true feelings. Whether it was the serious

and aloof Eason or the warm and gentle Adam, their sincerity towards

her was undeniable.

And their silent support now made her feel a hint of warmth.

“What are you looking at so intently?”

Elijah quickly snatched the phone from Cordelia’s hands.

"Hey, you..."

Before Cordelia protested, Elijah’s expression darkened.

“I didn't expect you to be so good at attracting people.”

Cordelia frowned. “Don't talk nonsense.”

Suddenly, Elijah pinched Cordelia’s cheeks and questioned, “How many

men have you strung along apart from those two?”

“Why do you have to be so mean? If so, why don’t you tell me how

you've been stringing along Miss Flores?” Cordelia stared at him

directly.

Elijah leaned closer to Cordelia. “Who have you been learning this

eloquence from recently? Or perhaps, were all those gentle and

virtuous behaviors you displayed before just an act?”

Cordelia felt a pain in her heart.

She used to like Elijah, so she was willing to be gentle and affectionate

in front of him.

While being with him for three years, she had been cautious and

anxious but gained nothing.

Cordelia bit her lip and bravely retorted, “Yeah, it's all an act. I was born

eloquent like this, unwilling to be taken advantage of. Even if it's just in

words... Hmm!”

Suddenly, Elijah locked Cordelia’s lips with his, capturing the fragrance

in her mouth. His kiss was forceful and possessive.

After a while, he released her, satisfying. “Good. I'm unwilling to let

myself be taken advantage of, either.”

“You!”

Cordelia was a mixture of embarrassment and anger. What was worse

was that Elijah was still holding her waist.

Looking at her angry expression, Elijah lowered his head to kiss her

neck, planting a kiss on the mole there.

“Don't imagine things. I'm not interested in other women.”

Cordelia didn't believe it.

Even if he wasn't interested in other women, he still chose to flirt with

them.

Feeling the dampness on her neck, Cordelia quickly pushed Elijah away.

“Stop fooling around.”

“Alright. I'll restrain myself for now. We can continue when we get

home.” Elijah lifted his head, his arm still hooked around her waist,

showing no signs of letting go

Cordelia felt like Elijah had been purposefully retaliating against her

lately.

Her ovulation period for the month had long passed, and he knew well

about it but still relentlessly sought intimacy with her every night.

In her daze, she faintly heard him whisper by her ear, “Why do you

doubt me so much? I'll make sure you're well-satisfied to seal your

mouth.”

Perhaps due to a month of unrestrained indulgence, Cordelia had felt

tired lately. She thought she did not get enough sleep and was

constantly drained.
