Chapter 35 You Are Even-handed

Inside the box was a dazzling diamond necklace and a pair of diamond

earrings.

Even though Cordelia had no interest in jewelry, she was attracted by

their beauty.

Designed by international masters, they were attractive.

Cordelia thought they should have a market value of at least tens of

millions of dollars.

“Let me put them on you.”

With that said, Elijah picked up the necklace.

However, in the next second, his hand was held down.

Although Eva's necklace was much paler than this one, Cordelia was still

in a bad mood.

Cordelia looked at Elijah vigilantly and said, “You are even-handed,

huh? You just gave Eva a necklace

this afternoon, and now, you give me another one to coax me.”

“Shouldn't 1?" Elijah said as if he did the right thing, “Eva liked that

necklace and borrowed money from me to buy it. I couldn't refuse.”

So he lent the house and money to Eva.

Did he think he could disassociate himself from Eva by saying that?

While talking, Elijah put the necklace and earrings on Cordelia.

Cordelia had smooth skin and small earlobes. This set of jewelry suited

her perfectly.

“Amazing,” Elijah praised generously, “Only you are worthy of them!”

Tonight, Elijah seemed to be quite sweet.

Although Cordelia still felt a little uncomfortable, she had no reason to

refuse his gift.

Even if she sold it, she wouldn't suffer losses, right?

What was more, since she came back, she didn't intend to worsen her

relationship with Elijah.

Eva was too arrogant. Cordelia suddenly didn't want to stay idle. If she

walked away, Eva would become more unscrupulous.

Cordelia lowered her eyes, concealed the coldness in her eyes, and

rested her hand on Elijah’s shoulder. “Thank you.”

Elijah stroked her hair gently. “Eva won't stay in Beilve City for too long.

When her condition stabilizes, she will go abroad to continue

recuperating.”

He meant to say that he hoped Cordelia could be patient.

However, Cordelia was more sober than ever.

Even without Eva, there would be other mistresses.

Without saying anything, he began to kiss the back of her neck while

whispering her name.

Cordelia frowned in the dark, enjoying the foreplay.

When both of them were aroused, Elijah’s phone

rang.

He reached out, but Cordelia grabbed it first.

After hanging up the phone quickly, Cordelia put

one hand around his neck and whispered in his ear, “Can you turn off

the phone?”

Her voice was flattering, indicating her excitement.

Elijah was taken aback for a moment, then chuckled, “Okay. I will turn it

off as you said.”

Then, the two continued to enjoy the moment.

After being oversexed for two consecutive days, Cordelia couldn't bear

it anymore.

So, the next day, she gave herself a day off and stayed in the Maple

Villa,

Unexpectedly, in the afternoon, she received a call

from Mae.

“Cordelia, tell the security guard who I am. He

doesn't let me in!"
