Chapter 315 Unfair

Cordelia received a call from Imogen on the way back.

"Dear Cordelia, forgive me for my bad memory. Are you leaving

tomorrow morning?"

Cordelia sat at the back of the car and rolled her eyes. "You indeed have

a bad memory. Fortunately, you call me so early, not in the middle of

the night.”

"Aha, I was so obsessed with games this afternoon. Are you outside

now? Where are you? I'll go find you,” Imogen said.

"Forget it. It's getting dark. Just stay at home. I'll go and find you after a

while."

So, Cordelia told the driver Imogen's address, and after a while, the

driver drove her to Adam's apartment.

After saying goodbye to the driver politely, Cordelia entered the

apartment.

When she entered, Imogen was the only one at home.

Imogen's eyes lit up when she saw Cordelia’s dress tonight.

"Wow, Cordelia, you look so beautiful! Did you just finish dating?"

Cordelia was annoyed unconsciously when she heard Imogen's word

“date”

So, she told Imogen how the dinner suddenly became a blind date

tonight.

Imogen covered her mouth and said, "Elijah is too powerful, isn't he?

How could he get in touch with your secret patient?”

Cordelia nodded. "And I found that since Elijah appeared, the patient is

in a better mood. I don't know if it has anything to do with him."

Imogen was obviously very interested.

After listening to Cordelia's conversation with Elijah tonight, Imogen

sighed, "Cordelia, actually, I think Elijah still likes you. Otherwise, he

wouldn't make so much effort to get close to you again and again.”

"Does he like me?" Cordelia smiled disdainfully. "I think he loves himself

more!"

"If Ben could be as sincere as Elijah, I would be willing to be with him

and turn a blind eye to his stupid brain," Imogen said with a yearning

look on her face.

Cordelia rolled her eyes. "Stupid woman."

"Hey, aren't we just making assumptions? In fact, Ben is still a jerk. He

actually framed me and said that Adam was the child's father. Huh!"

Imogen was very angry when she mentioned this matter and pouted.

"So, he didn't find out that you were pregnant with twins but instead

thought you betrayed him, huh? What a jerk he is!" Cordelia was also a

little angry.

"No, I just think he is making trouble and wants to pester me. He has

really made no progress at all from the beginning to now. It seems that

Elissa did not teach him well,” Imogen said sarcastically.

Cordelia sneered, "A woman like Elissa just makes him more and more

annoying. Everyone knows what Elissa wants from him, so how can she

teach him? She will always flatter him."

Imogen suddenly understood. "You are right! The two of them are really

strange and incomprehensible. Elissa is the mistress of an old man, and

he knows about it but doesn't stop it. Ha, it's definitely true love

between them."

"Is it the man we saw that day?" Cordelia asked with narrowed eyes.

"Yes, Ben said that the man is Elissa's fan,” Imogen said angrily, "How

unfair he is! He doesn't even care if Elissa sleeps with the fan. But guess

what he did when I said thanks to the fan who gave me rewards."
