Chapter 200
Wake Up! You’re My Ex Now (Cordelia)
Chapter 200 Are You Kicking Me Out?
In the dream, Cordelia was very obedient.
She allowed him to hold her and kiss her as long as he wanted
Later, he went a bit too far and started pulling up her skirt.
Finally, his hand was gripped, as Cordelia didn't allow him to go any
further.
"Cordelia..."
Elijah murmured and fell back into a deep sleep.
Cordelia propped herself up and got out of bed, tiredly straightening
her clothes.
She wondered what Elijah was dreaming about.
All she wanted was to cover Elijah with a blanket, but he pulled her into
his arms and kissed her for a long time.
If it wasn't that she easily escaped his hug, Cordelia even suspected he
was awake and deliberately kissed and hugged her!
"Cordelia, don't go..."
Elijah continued to murmur.
Cordelia stood by the bed, looking at Elijah with mixed emotions.
Since their divorce, this was the second time Cordelia had heard Elijah
repeatedly calling her in his dreams.
The first time was when he had a fever and fell into a deep sleep. At
that time, Cordelia thought he was delirious from the fever.
But this time, he occasionally called her name, and his words were very
clear.
Looking at his innocent sleeping face, Cordelia thought that if he had
been so reluctant to part with her in the past, they wouldn't have ended
up like this.
So, resolutely, Cordelia turned around. Even though she could still hear
Elijah's murmurs behind her, she didn't turn back and left the room.
Elijah had a good sleep.
As he woke up, he felt refreshed.
He glanced at the time. It was already one o'clock in the afternoon, but
Cordelia hadn't returned yet.
He got up and went to the courtyard, where he saw Cordelia sitting at a
small table, tinkering with various herbs in front of her.
Her face was peaceful, and her eyebrows and eyes were warm, causing
Elijah to slow down his footsteps naturally.
"You're awake.â Cordelia heard his voice but didn't look at him. "There's
food in the kitchen for you. Go eat it."
Elijah approached and sat across from her. "I took up your bed. Did it
affect your lunch break?â
"It's fine." Cordelia glanced at the time and said, "You should eat quickly
and go back earlier. Don't be so willful next time."
"Are you kicking me out?" Elijah complained.
Cordelia rubbed her temple. "Elijah, you're not a child anymore.â
His current behavior was like that of a lovesick fool, willing to sacrifice
everything for love.
But was he a lovesick fool? Obviously not.
He had a father and grandfather to rely on, so he could do whatever he
wanted.
But he would pay the price for that sooner or later.
"Alright, I'll leave tomorrow morning. Tonight, I want to spend more
time with you. Is that okay?" Elijah asked. His expression was sincere as
he spoke.
He had said that he wanted to pursue Cordelia, and he wanted to do it
seriously, though he had no experience in this area and didn't know
how to pursue a woman.
He believed creating opportunities to spend more time with her and
get to know each other was the right way.
"It's your own business, make your own decisions!" Cordelia stood up,
ready to go to the pharmacy.
At that moment, her phone rang.
Eason called. "Cordelia, I have a few prescriptions. Can I come over and
ask you for help? Is it convenient for you now?"
"Sure, Eason. Let's meet at the pharmacy!"
After saying that, Cordelia hung up the phone and left the inn
courtyard.
"Cordelia!"
Suddenly, Elijah chased after her.
"Anything else?" Cordelia turned to look at him.
