Chapter 142

Wake Up! You’re My Ex Now (Cordelia)

Chapter 142 Go to Mount Damerel

Cordelia's stomach was always uncomfortable, and she felt a little

nauseous after being kissed so suddenly by Elijah.

So, she suddenly pushed Elijah away and quickly ran towards the

bathroom.

Since she didn't eat anything in the morning, she didn't spit out much.

But it made her very uncomfortable.

Afterward, she sat on the ground, exhausted. Her hair was messy, and

she was very embarrassed.

It had been two months since she vomited, and she felt she would get

better soon.

As she opened her eyes daily, she hoped that she would feel refreshed

and not feel uncomfortable anymore.

However, she was so disappointed day by day.

At this moment, she was sitting on the cold floor, and she even had the

illusion that maybe she would never get better in this life.

This painful feeling made her very desperate.

Elijah brought warm mouthwash for her, asked her to rinse her mouth,

and wiped the cold sweat from her forehead with a hot towel.

"Baby, it is cold on the ground. Let me carry you back and lie down!"

After saying that, Elijah had already picked her up, his eyes showing

distress.

Gently putting her on the bed, Elijah covered her with quilt. "What can I

do for you? How can I make you more comfortable?"

"I want to go to Mount Damerel,” Cordelia said suddenly.

"Mount Damerel?"

A flash of astonishment flashed in Elijah's eyes. This place was

mentioned in Adam's message to Cordelia!

He took out his phone to check.

It was about an hour away from Beilve City.

Moreover, near Mount Damerel, on the map, he saw a familiar village,

Aprico Village.

That was where Cordelia once lived.

"Okay, then, shall we go now?" Elijah kissed her on the face with a

loving tone.

"Thank you." Cordelia forced a smile.

So, after she changed her clothes, Elijah drove her towards Mount

Damerel.

The sky was clear, and the road spread towards the endless horizon.

On the way, Cordelia was probably in a better mood, and her condition

was much better than before, without vomiting anymore along the way.

She hadn't returned for several years, and Mount Damerel had been

developed into a tourist area.

Elijah bought tickets for the two of them and walked in along the

ravine.

"The road is not easy. Let me hug you." Elijah suggested.

Cordelia looked at him surprised, then smiled lightly, "No, you'll be too

tired that way.”

Elijah thought for a while. "Then, as you are tired, we will rest

immediately.”

"Okay." Cordelia took a deep breath and closed her eyes, intoxicated.

"The air here is so fresh, with some earthy smell.”

"You should have told me earlier if you wanted to come here," Elijah

patted her head and said

Cordelia opened her eyes, looked at him blinking, and said after a long

time, “Elijah, if this baby hadn't come suddenly, I would have divorced

you."

"No!" Elijah said firmly, "After the cooling-off period, I will withdraw the

divorce application.”

Cordelia said calmly, "Then I will continue to file for divorce. In short, I

will not continue to endure this marriage.”

Elijah’s hand, holding her hand, suddenly tightened, and he looked at

her at a loss. "Do you hate me so much?"

"No, Elijah." Cordelia's nose suddenly became a little sour. "We have

been together for three years. In these three years, I haven't had a

happy day. For a while, I didn't even know how to smile. And I don't

want to exert myself."

"Can't laugh?" Elijah stared at her blankly.
