Author's POV

Jeevika is setting the table for lunch. She has cooked her daughter's favorite food.  After completing her studies jeevika is working with Vidhyut in his company. Also she always tries to give to her daughter as much as possible. She always comes home at lunch time and spends some time with saanvi. But for the last two days she was busy so she couldn't get time to spend with her. So today she cooked her favorite food.

Just she was done with setting a table bell ring. She opened the door but got shocked as she saw Vidhyut with saanvi. As she always comes with the driver. But looking at his tired face and pout on her daughter's face she knows that something happened at her school.

He comes inside and drops saanvi's beg on the sofa and sits on it and takes a deep breath. Saanvi also settled beside her papa. Jeevika gave glass of water to him and then asked,

“What happened to Vidhyut?”

He shakes his head and said,

“ you know what your mini version this mini patakha has done?”

“ Papa, I am not a mini patakha.”

“ What did she do?”

“ she hit a boy. And you know where she hit him?”

“ Where?”

“ In between his legs. Not only that but she also poured his water bottle on himself only and tore his shirt.  You know her principal called me at school and said that she is in 1st standard but doing all these things.”

“ But papa you didn't listen to my side.”  she said with pout.

“ Saanu baby, you tell Mumma why did you do that?” she asked lovingly.

“Mumma, that boy pulled my ponytail. Also was trying to push me. So I pushed him and then hit him between his legs. Also poured his water bottle on him. I was just going to do that but then he tried to take my tiffin which has my favorite chocolate so I tore his shirt. Simple.”

When she said simple he facepalm himself and said,

“ Simple, seriously Saanu. You could have complained about him to the teacher. what is needed to pick up a fight.”

“ But he started papa then how can I back off. I have to fight na. I am SAANVI VIDHYUT SINHA  how can I leave him haa.”

“ But, baby who teaches you to hit a boy between his legs?”

“ Bade papa.” She said innocently.

“ What ?”

“Haa he Said that if anyone bullied me  I should hit him there. I asked him why but he said that I will know when I will be a big girl. But you know I never get a chance to do that. So when I got a chance today I did it. And you know it actually painted that boy. Because when I hit him he fell.  You know bade papa will be very happy. I did very well.”

“ What else can I expect from your bade papa? All types of fighting you are learning from him only?”

Jeevika couldn't control anymore and laughed. when he glared her jeevika composed herself and said,

“ Saanu baby, go get changed then we will have lunch.”

“ Ok Mumma”  and ran to her room.

Jeevika set beside to him and said,

“Don't worry Vidhyut she is just a kid”

“ That is what I am telling you. What is with him to teach all this to my innocent baby.”

“ Vidhyut it's good na he is teaching him how to fight for herself.”

“ Haa but you know how much that principal scolded me. Telling me that she is fighting at this young age. He just has to teach but then I have to get all the scolding.” He said with pout.

She quickly  picked his lips and said,

“ It's ok Naa. I will compensate on behalf of saanvi at night.” And winked.

He chuckled and said,

“ Only I know how I am handling this little patakha and that mini patakha.”

Saanvi is now fourteen years old.  Now she is in Ansh office.  Yes, he is twenty-one years old and last year of college. Also learning how to handle business from his father. Saanvi came directly from  school to him.

Everyone in the office knows her. Yes she is known by every single person in the office. Whether that office is of Vidhyut, Abhimaan and Siddharth. All three of them never want her to face any problem so they made sure that every single person in the office knows her so she doesn't have to face any problem. Being the only girl among three families made her princess for all of them.  Every other girl is jealous of her. Saanvi's innocence and beauty is just adding to their jealousy.

She came here with her driver uncle. Her driver dropped her safely to Ansh.  When Ansh come to know about her being in his office he came to the reception area to pick her.

“ Hey Angel, what are you doing here?”

She smiled and waved her hand.

“ Hi Ansh.”

He smiled at her and asked her driver to go back and said he will drop her.  And then held her hand and took her to his cabin.

Yes he has a cabin though he is in his learning phase. He refused. But then his father explained that he has all the right to have a little bit more privilege.  Because whatever his father has earned was of his hard earned money. And as a son he has the right to use that privilege.

As soon as they entered his cabin, Saanvi dropped her bed on the sofa and sat on Ansh's chair. He smiled and asked,

“ So have you informed anyone about you being here?”

“ Yes, I know Mumma and papa are in a meeting as they were talking about that in the morning. So I informed Sunita Aunty.”

“ Good Girl.”

“ You know Ansh, you will be more proud when you know why I am here?”

“ But before that you tell me did you have anything?”

“ But I am not hungry. I also have aloo Paratha in tiffin so..”

“ Fine, then let me order lemonade for you.”

“ But I want a chocolate milkshake.”

“ No sweetheart, you need to stay hydrated.”

She pouted. But nodded. Once a taking seat in front of Saanvi he asked,

“ So Angel,  tell me what you did to make me proud.”

“ You know papa,bade papa and you always tell me na that I have to stay away from the boys and tell you if anyone tells me anything. So I am here for that.”

Listening to the boy, Ansh's expression changed and he became serious. And asked her seriously,

“ Angel, did anyone say anything to you or did any boy try to come near you?”

She nodded in no. While drinking her lemonade.

“Then?”

She put her glass on table and said,

“ You know the boy who is  senior to me. come to me today and give me a letter. And said that I should give an answer about that letter tomorrow. But I am not able to understand why he gave me Letter. And what answer should I give him?”

She said while thinking deeply.  So Ansh said little angrly,

“ No need to give any answer to him and think about him.”

“But why are you shouting at me?”

Ansh took a breath to calm himself and said,

“Sorry.”

Just then Siddharth entered his cabin. He gets happy seeing Saanvi there. She also hugged him happily.

“ So tell me little princess, why are you here? Did my son trouble you.”

She giggled at his question and shook her head in no. But looking at his son Sid knows there is something. But when Ansh spoke his confusion gets clear,

“ Papa you are going to Rathor mansion so drop saanvi there. You know how good girl she is. Some boy gave a letter to her and she came directly to me as Vidhyut uncle was busy with meetings.And saanu you give that letter to me.”

Listening to his son Sid knows now where he is going aslo Saanvi's papa will be busy with her bade papa so he decided to drop her to Rathor mansion. And took Saanvi. Who was careless about what will happen now who gave her Letter and only happy that she is going to spend her time with her Badi maa and dadi.

Ansh reached Vidhyut 's office and went directly to his cabin.  Vidhyut was not alone but Jeevika and Abhimaan were also present there. when he saw Ansh he rolled his eyes.

“What are you doing here in my office?”

“Ohh come on Vidhyut uncle, today is not the day we fight, we have a more important deal to takel.”

And passed a letter which he took from Saanvi. When Vidhyut read the letter realized that it was not something good.  Also from whatever is written in the letter he can easily know that the boy is lusted after his daughter.  All the playful things changed in seriousness.

Looking at his expression, Abhimaan took the letter from him and also became serious.  Vidhyut asked Ansh,

“Where did you get this?”

“ Angel came to me as she thought that your meeting was still going.”

“ Hmm did she read the letter?”

“ No she didn't. Also I told her not to think about this and told papa to drop her to Advika bua”

“You did good. Next ….”  Before he can complete Ansh said,

“ I will deal with the boy. You just have to make sure to deal with his father.”

Vidhyut didn't argue, just nodded.

“ Btw buddy After dealing with this I am going to Advika bua. You know…” and wink at Abhimaan and leave the cabin.

“This brut.. Vidhyut when will you give him his Angel so that he can stop kissing my wife's cheeks. I have to reach before him.” And  run out of cabin without waiting for Vidhyut's reply. So Vidhyut laugh at his best friend.

Jeevika smiled at them and said,

“I don't understand you in this matter Vidhyut, You get angry at Ansh, even rude sometimes when he talks about Saanu. But then never stop Saanu to go to him, talk to him, meet him, be all possessive father when it comes to some other boy.  But never stop Saanu from going to him and befriending him even when you know that he has feelings for Saanu more than friends.”

“ I don't like him only when it comes to saanu. But you know how much I hate this idea. Somewhere he is the right choice for my Saanu.  If I can trust my saanu with someone who is not me or her bade papa or her Rihaan Bhai then it is Ansh.

When as a seven year old he said he wanted my saanu I thought that it would change with time. But my fatherly  instinct was saying that he was serious. But again I want to be sure as I used to  think that when he will be a teenager like all other boys he will be attracted to some girl and will have a girlfriend. So I keep my eyes on him. But all these years if there was any girl about whom he talked or  thought was saanu. He never let any other girl near him. That made me sure that he was the right choice.

But again the decision will be Saanu's. And for that she is too young and he also needs to achieve many things before getting his Angel and needs to pass many test”

“ You are unbelievable Vidhyut.”

“ I am a father jeevika who needs nothing other than her daughter's happiness and safety.”

Jeevika smiled and prayed for better future for her daughter.
