chapter 67

Author's POV

It's been a few days since Jeevika knows about Vidhyut being in the Mafia. Of course it was a little hard for her to accept the fact but soon she accepted everything wholeheartedly.

Also the last few days are hectic for Vidhyut as he had to crack an important deal. Now finally after getting the deal he is with his employee discussing something about this deal. Just then the door open with the bange.

Everyone looked at the person who entered and there stood Vidhyut's little Patakha but what shocked everyone is the tears in her eyes. Vidhyut stood up from his place.

As soon as she saw him she cried harder and run and hugged him. He was shocked looking at her state.  He looked at everyone who was present there. They get the clue and leave the place.

All this while Jeevika was crying slightly on his chest. He broke hug and cupped her face and said,

“ Jeevi, Baccha, why are you crying?”

“ I am sorry.”

He got confused listening to her sorry. And said,

“ What happened baccha? Why are you saying sorry?”

“ Mujhe nahi pata tha aisa ho jaye ga. Sorry sachhi.”

“ Baby I am saying it's ok. Will you just tell me what happened?”

She didn't answer so he made her look at him and said,

“ Jeevi will you tell me baccha what happened?”

“ Please don't get angry with me. I didn't know something like this would happen.”

“ Listen to me carefully. I will not be angry with you. No matter what. Now take a breath and tell me.”

She looked at him and nodded and started saying,

“ Vo I have not been feeling well for the last two or three days. But then you were busy so I didn't tell you and went to hospital with mahima today and ....”

She didn't speak further and looked down.

Listening about the hospital his heartbeat become fast he gulped and asked,

“And what jeevi?”

“ And…”

“ Jeevika don't give me buildup, just tell me what did doctor said to you.”  he said little angrily,

“No, I will not look at you. I haven't said anything till now. Still you are getting angry. If I tell you, you will be more angry, so I won't tell you.”

He took a deep breath knowing his anger will not lead him anywhere. So he said we calmly

“ Jeevi meri jaan I won't say anything pakka. I got angry because you are not saying what the doctor said to you.”

“ She said….. she said  I am pregnant.” Jeevika said in one breath.

Vidhyut was shocked to react so he asked only one thing,

“ How?”

She got angry with this and said,

“ What how? Should I get you addmission in 9th standard again so that you can learn reproduction again and know how I became pregnant.”

“ I mean How can you be pregnant? I have used protection every time.”

“ That day you remember when I came to know about you being in the Mafia. That day we did not use protection and I also forgot to take pills. Maybe that day…..”

she said while crying. When he didn't reply her she cried harder and said,

“I am sorry. I know you don't want kids but…”

Listening to her he got confused and said,

“ Who said I don't want kids? And are you crying for this?”

“ You only told me that day. When I was talking about kids.”

“ Baby I said I don't want them now. But that never means that. I will never want a kid. And now I know this is unplanned but that doesn't mean I don't love him or her or don't want them.”

She smiled listening to him.

“ But Baccha Are you ok? I mean you are still young for that.”

“ I love kids.  I don't mind.  But I don't have experience.” She said while pouting.

He facepalm himself on her question and thought how will he handle two kids. But said,

“ You didn't have experience with marriage. Then also you did it well hena. Then you will do your best with this also. And don't worry I will be there with you.”

“ Correct, I was never a wife stillI did good then. I will do good as a mother also.”

She said happily so he took a breath of relief

When everyone came to know about Jeevika being pregnant they were shocked as well as happy. They decided to help her whenever she needed.

First few months were hard as she was having few problems but now everything is settled. Her baby bump started showing as she entered her fifth month.

Now he is trying to convince her that she should go to her college which she is refusing.

“ But why don't you want to go?”

“ Because I don't want to.” She said angrily.

But he didn't listen to her. And decide to drop her forcefully. But that brought tears in her eyes. When they reached he tried to talk to her. But she jerk his hands and said,

“ I hate you.”

And went out of the car. This made him a little suspicious about her behavior. For the last few days he has noticed that she avoids going to college. So he thought there must be some problem and decided to visit her college.

He also entered behind him. The scene in front of him made him angry. Inside there jeevika was standing looking down and few people has made a little funny drawing about her with her baby bump. And laughing at her.

“ What the fuck you think you are doing?”

He shouted at the top of his lungs. Everyone becomes quiet. He went towards his jeevika and circled his arm. She looked at him and hugged him.

He snatch the sketch from that boy’s hand and then broke the hug and asked her,

“ Was this the reason that you don't want to attend college?”

She looked down. He looked at him with disappointment. And  then said to the students who made the sketch.

“ Are you serious? In this age when people are supporting their sister, wife, girlfriend and mother and encouraging them to achieve their dreams. You are making fun of a girl who has the courage to achieve this dream.

And who said that if a girl is married or pregnant they can't achieve their dreams. Pregnancy is not something that you made fun of. Did you realize that you are here because your mother was pregnant once. And tell me what is so funny about it.

Her stomach is drawn on this page, so let me tell you she has the courage to carry a new life inside her for nine months and then give birth to it. Which is the most difficult task that even man can't do. If you can't support her then at least don't  make fun of it. And you don't have that right to do so.”

He took jeevika from there. Once they reach home. He made her calm and then said,

“ Why didn't you tell me?”

She looked her with teary eyes and said,

“ I want to tell you but then I don't know how.  Also I thought they would stop but they didn't. And you were also busy so didn't want to disturb you.”

“ Remember Jeevika, I am never busy for you. You are and will be my first priority.”

“ Even after we will have baby”

She asked with a little pout. He picked her lips and said,

“ Of course you will always be my first baccha, My first baby.”

She smiled and hugged him.

After that everything was settled again and she started going to college. Vidhyut made sure those who have made fun of her are now not present in college. They are nighter  in college nor in the city. But Jeevika didn't know about this.

He just returned from the office and smiled looking at the scene in front of him. His little Patakha is talking with her baby bump.

“ Baby are you a bad baby. Why are you

Kicking your Mumma. I already told you right that you can kick me only twice but now you kick me third time. This is the wrong baby, you should listen to me. I am your Mumma. And you know I am also good so I have listened to my Mumma. Now it's your turn. You should be a good baby and listen to me. Ok.”

He smiled and hugged her and asked,

“What happened baccha?”

“Your baby is a bad baby. He is not listening to me.”

“ I don't understand whenever a baby doesn't listen to something baby become my and he.  And when don't kico you that time becomes your and she. How?”

“ Because girls are good and always listen to her mumma only boys are bad and don't listen to mumma. And of course when he doesn't listen to me he is your because I will have a good baby not a mischievous one.”

She said and got busy with her ice cream. He just smiled at her logic.
