chapter 64

Author's POV.

Vidhyut slowly opened his eyes and found his jeevi sleeping on his chest. He kissed her forehead and started looking at her. How calm she was looking now. But that is not the case for the last few days. Because of that dreadful day she used to have nightmares for a few days. After trying a lot she was able to overcome that.

She slowly opened her eyes and saw Vidhyut was looking at her. She gave him the biggest smile she could and kissed his chest where his heart was placed.

“ Good morning”

“ Good morning Meri Jaan. Did you sleep well?”

“ Hmmm.”

“ Fine then let's get ready, don't you want to go college?”

“ Yes but…”

She said and started drawing a Circle on his chest. He understands what her but means. Vidhyut gulped at the effect she has ok him and said,

“ But not now baby. We will get late.”

“ We won't,” she said stubbornly.

“ Aren't you getting too demanding nowadays?”

“ Yes, so what? I am asking from my husband and you only said that it's not wrong.”

“ When I am telling it's wrong. It's just that my baby is becoming too demanding.”

“ I don't care. I want you now.” She said,

“ Baccha, if you demand like this, I want to be able to refuse.”

“ But why do you even want to refuse?”

“ Because meri jaan I don't have protection.”

“ Huff. I don't care. I want you means I want you. You are mine and I can have you whenever I want.”

“ Ohh Mera baacha. Fine, take a pill.”

“ I will but Vidhyut, Why do you always think about this? Don't  you want a baby?”

“ No.” He said straight which made her sad. Realizing she is sad he said,

“ It's not like that we will never have a baby. We will. But before that you need to complete your studies. Then get a little settled in your career then we will think.”

“ Hmmm, But Vidhyut it will take more than six-seven years. Won't you be old then. You know you are already about to be thirty. You see I am still young and you are old. How will you look then?”

She said mischievously, knowing how much he hates it when she calls him old.

“ You think I'm old. Sweetheart let me show you how old I am. I still can make you tired.”

He said while hovered her. And soon their love making session starts.

There morning was one of the most best morning. But will their day will also end on beautiful note like morning.

Today due to some reason Mahima is going to Delhi. Jeevika has decided to drop her to Airport. When they were returning there was a traffic jam on a highway which everyone uses. So she asked her driver Kaka to use another road. But somehow the car broke down.

“ Kaka it's ok. I can't waste my time here. We don't know how much time it will take so I will take a cab.”

“ No jeevika beta. I am trying. It won't take much time. I can't let you go like this.”

“ Kaka nothing will happen. You can drop the car later on. For now I am going. I will take a cab from nearby.”

Saying she collected her things from the car and started walking so that she could reach the main roda and get a cab.  While walking little she realizes that there is nothing on this Road except a few warehouses. But being herself she didn't care about this and kept walking.

After walking a little she heard someone’s screaming. But when she looked around there was nothing so she decided to ignore that and was about to walk further when she listens again and that made her Stop and think,

“ What are Jeevi doing? You can't ignore screaming like this, what if someone actually needed help. There is nothing here, nobody will help that person. You should be brave and help that person.”

After giving herself a little bravery message she follows the screaming sound. And reached a nearby warehouse from where that screaming could be heard.

She looked around and there was no one. So she slowly entered. And follow the sound. When she saw one person was tied with the chair and blood was coming out of his every body part.

His two fingers were already cut and were laying on a Flore. Her eyes went wide looking at the scene.

But when she saw the other person who was sitting on an opposite chair with a knife in his hands that made her mind blank. He was Vidhyut her Vidhyut. She looked around and realized that there are more known faces like Abhi, Raghav and Zahir.  Just then she listens Vidhyut voice,

“ Abhi don't you think it's partiality? You see he has three fingers in right hand but left hand still has five fingers.”

“ Hmm you are right then let's make them three.”

“ Good idea.”. Saying Vidhyut stood up from his place and cut two fingers of left hand.

With that they heard the scream. But this time it was the screams of two people. One is of the person who is tied to a chair and the other is of someone else.

When they looked at the second source of scream their eyes went wide. There Jeevika was standing with tightly closed eyes and hands on her ears.

Looking at the scene where Vidhyut was cutting someone’s fingers, a scream left her mouth. Curse left from Vidhyut and Abhi’s mouth. They don't know how they are going to handle the situation. She is not mature like Advika, who can understand situations. That is their biggest fear now.

She slowly opened her eyes and looked. Vidhyut and Abhimaan were so shocked to react. They never thought that she would come here. They have a different dangerous side  Which They never wanted to show their family.

All this year's Abhimaan made sure that whatever bad he did should stay till his warehouse. Advika should never come across this side.

From the moment Jeevika entered Vidhyut also made sure of that. It's not like he was not going to tell her about this forever. But he knows that she is still not ready for this. Now he knows that he has to act calmly. So he took one step towards Jeevika.

Jeevika who was shocked to think anything, takes two steps back looking at Vidhyut who has a knife in his hands. His white shirt is not white anymore; it turned red because of blood.

She was about to run as she didn't know what to do. Vidhyut dropped the knife and ran behind her. Before she could go far he held her hands and turned her around.

“ Leave me, Vidhyut, no no you can't be my Vidhyut. Please, please leave me.”

She can't control herself, her emotions took over her and tears started flowing in her eyes. He was about to touch her face but she pushed her hands.

“ Don't touch me with your bloody hands.”

“ I won't. No one will touch you. But you want to leave this place not without listening to us.”

Tears can't stop her eyes. She knew he would not let her leave so she nodded. Zahir brought the chair for her. She sat on her. Looking at her, anyone can say how scared she is. For the first time Vidhyut can see fear in her eyes instead of love which broke his heart.

He went inside, took a quick shower and changed his clothes. He looked at Abhimaan who nodded his hands. He took seat in front of jeevika. And started,

“ I work with Abhimaan. He runs the Mafia.”

Listening to this her eyes went wide and she looked at him who nodded his head.  So Vidhyut continue,

“ I won't say that we don't do any illegal activities. Because we do. But we don't kill or touchur people until it's necessary.”

“ How can killing someone be necessary?” She asked, shockingly

“ Can  you see him? You know what he has done?”

She nodded in no. So he continued,

“ He is involved in human trafficking. We just wanted to know where and when he was going to send them. You see we are surely active in some illegal activities but we never did human trafficking, drugs which harms our youth. Our activities are not like that. Instead we save those people by being insane. And of course people like him won't open their mouths easily so we have to do this.”

He tried to make her understand as calmly as possible. The frown on her face dipen. Her mind knows what he is telling is true. But her heart is somewhere not ready to believe that her Vidhyut can kill or torture someone.

She stood up from her place. He looked her ask,

“ Where are you going?”

“ I don't know. I can't understand anything. I don't know how to react. So I am going.  Because whatever you said can't change the fact that what you are doing is crime.”

When she said those words. His heart burns with the fear that she will leave him. Which he can't let happen. If she thinks him as a criminal let her think but she has to leave with that criminal. Before she can move he lifts her in bridal style.

“ What are you doing, leave me?”

“ Sorry baccha, I can't.  You need time. You can have as much as you want. But there is no option of leaving me.”

“ leave her Vidhyut.” Abhimaan said.

But he glares him and said,

“ I won't she is the reason I am leaving peacefully. I won't leave her. Even if it means to cage her.”

He said and started moving outside. Jeevika started wiggling in his arms. When he didn't leave him she started betting on him with her fist. But of course her small soft hands can't hurt him.

He opened his car with difficulty and put jeevika inside. And drove it.  Abhimaan who look this cursed,

“ Fuck. He is doing wrong. I have to stop him.”

He drove behind him and also informed Advika who got tense listening to this.

On the other hand Vidhyut reached his home. Carries jeevika on his shoulder and enters his bedroom. Drop her there. And said,

“ I know Meri Jaan, I am hurting you. But How can you think about leaving me? There is no option  of leaving me for you. And you have to stay here until you realize that.”

Jeevika was so shocked by this. Before she could react he left the room and locked it from outside. Jeevika ran to the door. And started slamming it. Vidhyut who listens this said,

“Jeevi  don't hurt your hands I am not going open until this thought of leaving me leaves from your mind.”

She started crying while thinking how good their morning was and how this day turned out. Vidhyut who listens to her crying also sits outside the door. And tears left her eyes thinking of his Jaan crying inside.

But he can't control himself. When it comes to her. His insecurity takes over his heart and his rectional mind stops. He can burn this world if needed just to be with her.
