chapter 62

Author's POV,

Mrs. Prena was with her team members discussing something when Jeevika came. All of them looked at her and smiled. Mrs. Prena asked her,

“ Hello ma'am, how are you?”

“ Ohho Aunty, how many times do I have to tell you, Don't call me ma’am.”

“ But you are my boss’s wife. I can't call you by name.”

“ That's the point. I am your boss’s wife, not your boss. He deserves that respect that everyone has for him because he earned that with his hard work. But I still need to work for that.

Also you know if my maa comes to know that I let someone whose age is the same as her call me ma'am then she will scold me. She always said we should respect our elders. And you are my elder as you always helped me from the day I came into this office for the first time. So  tell me, do you want her to scold me?”

She said the last line with pout. All the members present there looked at her innocence. Her innocence and this respective nature towards everyone earn her respect from them. Which she didn't even realize.  Mrs. Prena chuckled and said,

“ no no why will I want my cute baby to get scolded by her maa. I am sorry I will not call you ma'am ok. So tell me jeevika why are you here. Do you need something?”

“ Areeee mai to bhul hi gayi. I am here to say Thank you for helping me last time.” Saying she hugged her.

Mrs. Prerna was taken back by her hug. She never expected that her boss’s wife would hug her. She has worked in many places with many people but never seen someone like her. She smiled and caressed Jeevika's hair. And Jeevika felt motherly love from her.

Jeevika broke a hug and took out a gift from her beg. Before Mrs. Prena can say something she kept that in her hands and said,

“ You can't refuse this aunty. Because this is my thank you gift. You helped me when helping me was not even your job. So now when I am giving you a gift you can't tell me that it was your job or you help me because you work for Vidhyut because even if you had refused me he wouldn't have said anything to you. Because that was not your job. So there is no way you can refuse me.”

Mrs. Prena chuckled and said,

“ Is there any way I can win against you?”

Jeevika pretend to thinking something and said,

“ Ummm no.”

And everyone present there laughed at this. But their laughter died soon when they heard someone clapping.  They look at the direction and see Priti was standing there and clapping. She comes there and said,

“ Now I know why our Vidhyut sir got married to you. Look at your manipulative tongue and sugar coated words. You can make anyone do the things you want with this.”

Jeevika frowned at her words. But before she can say something Priti continued,

“ But you see guys there was no need for us to work now like she wants us. You know why because she has no relationship with Vidhyut sir.”

“ What the hell are you saying?”  Rahul who was also present there asked her.

“ Yes Rahul, what I am saying is true. You know Vidhyut sir hates her. And still she is not ready to leave him.”

Now listening to this Jeevika realized what she was saying and why she was saying. She must have listened her conversation with Vidhyut and miss interpreted.

But she was angry at Priti as she has no right to pick her nose in someone's personal business. So she fold her hands and asked,

“ Btw priti from where do you buy this?”

Listening to all become confused. Here Priti is talking about her relationship with her husband personally and she is reacting calmly.  But knowing her personality she will definitely give her mind-blowing reply in her style. So they are all set to see the drama.  Priti was confused listening to this and asked,

“ What ?”

“ This plastic nose of yours. Which you pick in someone's business even after being cut once.”

Everyone suppressed their laughter. And Priti became red because of anger. But Jeevika didn't stop and continued,

“ BTW this time you need a number of personality development classes. Do you know the first thing they teach is basic manners.  They will teach you how to mind your own business. I hope then you will be able to keep your nose to yourself.”

This increased the anger of Priti. But Jeevika kept a smile on her face. So Priti spoke,

“ This won't help you. I know you are trying to defame me. But this time I won't keep quiet. Because I know Vidhyut sir doesn't love you. All this while I kept quiet because I used to think he loves you and is happy with you. But now I know he is unhappy with you.”

“ I am trying to defame you seriously. It's you who is talking about my and my husband’s relationship openly. Which is not even your concern. So stop your nonsense and please do your job and let me do mine.”

“ I am doing my job only. I know girls like you who just use these sugar coated words and be with the person who just be with the man who doesn't even love her just for his money.”

Jeevika has enough of her rubbish. And top of that she is continuously talking about their love.

“ You want to know how much he loves me. Let me show you.”

Saying that she dragged her with her everyone is following her but she stopped them.

“ I request all of you to please leave us alone. I wanted to show her something which is personal.”

Everyone understands and stops there only. She took her to a nearby meeting room. But to her bad luck because of Priti’s hands pushing the room got locked. And the lock of the room was not working as if it's locked it's not opening. Which no one knew who was present there.

Rahul looked Mrs. Prena and said,

“ Ma’am I don't think this is a good idea. We shouldn't have let go jeevika ma’am alone with Priti”

“ I agree with Rahul ma'am. We shouldn't have let them go.” Vidhi supports them.

Before Mrs. Prena can say anything Vishal came and said,

“ Ma’am he is here to repair the lock of the meeting room.”

Everyone looked her shockingly and asked,

“ Which room?”

“ Ma’am our meeting room.”

“ Ma’am what will happen now.”  Rahul said,

“ what happened?” Vishal asked,

Rahul explains everything to him. This comes as a shock to him.

“ Ma’am I think we should tell this to sir. If he comes later he will be angry. Also inform ma’am that the room is locked.”

“ No not now Vishal. Rahul you inform sir about this. But we are not informing this to jeevika. What if they panic? And something happens.”

Rahul went to inform vidhyut. As soon as he reached his cabin he didn't even bother to knock. And entered. Vidhyut looked at him as he was about to be sought as he was with important people. But he cut of him,

“ Sir , jeevika ma’am.”

And explain everything. Vidyut stood up from his place and ran downstairs.

Meanwhile Jeevika entered in room and looked priti and said,

“ You want to see how much Vidhyut loves me, let me show you.”

Saying he removed the scarf from her neck and showed her hickey Vidhyut gave him. Priti’ s face becomes sad seeing this.

“ And you want to know why he said that he hates me. Because after our little make out. I bit his lips but didn't let him kiss me. And run away.

You want to know more about his love marks all over my body, my neck, breast, back, thighs. You know he is so rough when it comes to showing his love. That's why I have marks all over. You know, sometimes I can't walk in the morning. And he has to give me a bath with his hands.”

Priti can't listen more so she kept her hand on her ears and said,

“ Stop, please stop it.”

“ Why,Priti, is the truth so harsh? Or you can bear it. You know I could have said all this infront of everyone but didn't, because unlike you I have basic manners. Also don't like to make drama out of my or even someone else's relationship.”

Tears rolled down Priti's eyes. Jeevika shook her head and said,

“ You know If I want, I can ask Vidhyut to fair you from this job now but I am not going to do this. Because I am not like you. I like to mind my own things and these office decisions are not my job. But this is the last time I am letting go of all this but next time you will have no chance.”

Priti was so shocked to react to this. Jeevika moved to the door but the light went off. This made her scared a little.

Vidhyut who knows that jeevika doesn't like dark and can panic makes him tense. Jeevika ran to the door and started opening which didn't happen. That made her panic.

“ Is someone there? Please open the door.”

Vidhyut listens this and said,

“ Jeevi meri jaan I am here. Don't panic.”

He said and asked vihaan why the light went off. Also ask that person who comes with Vishal to open the door soon.

Just then Jeevika's eyes  caught something. That is the fire in the switch box.

“ Vidhyut fire.”

This made his eyes wide.  He looked the person and said,

“ What the fuck you are doing? Open this door now.”

“ I am trying my best sir.” And started doing that.

“ Vidhyut please do something, the fire is increasing.” She said, getting more panicked.

“ Sir, I don't think I can open this door because of the auto lock system. we have to break the door.”

This made everyone tense. They started breaking the door. Light was also not there because of this short circuit.

Because of smoke Jeevika started coughing along with priti.  Vidhyut who realized that said,

“ Jeevi baby try to breathe. We will soon take you out.

Everyone hurry. I can't let something happen to her.”

Everyone present started trying their best as they love her a lot.  And curing themselves to let go of her inside with Priti.

“ Vidhyut I can't breathe.” She sought from inside.

“ Baby hold on please. Try to breathe for me.”  he sought back

After trying for 10 more minutes they break the door. Vidhyut ran inside and took her out. But she passed out as soon as she came out.

Vishal and Rahul help Priti to come out. She is also very weak. Vidhyut didn't want to but can't let someone die in his office so along with Jeevika he asked them to bring Priti to his cabin. Which they did.

Vihaan has already called the doctor and he also called the fire security so they are also there.  Vidhyut asked them to call Abhimaan and Advika which he did. He is controlling himself because there is no one for her now.

But his anger is on his peak. Which soon going to blast on Priti.
