chapter 54

Author's POV.

Vidhyut’s sleep broke when he realized that Jeevika was wiggling in his arms. She slowly sat on a bed and rubbed her forehead. Then looking here and there that made her realize that she is back at her home.

Just then someone back hugged her in a sitting position.  Once she realizes whose touched it is she got relaxed and rested her head on Vidhyut's shoulder and closed her eyes. He lifted her up a little and made her sit on his lap.

“ Is your head aching a lot?”

“ Hmm…. But How do you know that I have a headache?”

“ Try to remember, baby , where were you last?”

“ ummm in the club.”   she spoke and her eyes went wide. And she added,

“ Did you kidnap me again? And why are you keeping kidnaping me? Is this one of your hobbies or what?”

“ First of all I have not kidnapped you. It was you who went to that club even when I said no. On top of that you got drunk. It was poor me who has to handle you and have to take you back.”

She looked at him with horror in her eyes.  And said,

“ Yes I went there because everyone forced me and I couldn't refuse them. But when did I get drunk?” She asked, confused.

“ Remember meri Jaan what did you have?”

“ Umm, maybe juice. It was a little different but I did have it.”

“ Maybe jeevika?”

“ Yes, because that person who was giving everyone said that he had a good option for me when I went there for the first time. As I was confused  with the names. They are so different from the names we have regularly in restaurants when we went for dinner.”

Listening to him Vidhyut facepalm himself and said,

“ That's because they have alcohol inside.”

“ But I didn't know they were having alcohol.”

He sighed and said,

“ That's why I was refusing you to go there, Baccha. Because you know that is not the place for people like us. But still I have thought that at least for once I would take you there so you can have experience. Jeevika you may find this as an old mentality or something like this. But listen to me carefully,

Baccha I am not against clubbing and getting drunk. But still I don't support this either. People can do that if they like. But I feel there is no need for anyone to do this just to enjoy. There are a lot of different ways to enjoy life. You know this place can be dangerous if we don't take good safety measures.

But still I was not going to stop you but I thought I will myself take you there when I feel that you are ready for that. Because you would have been better if I was with you. Also I can be at peace that you are safe.”

Jeevika pouted and,

“ I really didn't have any idea about having alcohol. Sacchi. Also I am sorry I didn't understand your point and trouble you.”

He smiled and kissed her forehead,

“ It's ok. Take a rest and let me get some lemonade for you.  Also after taking it get ready we have to go to Rathore Mansion as Advika invited us for dinner.”

“Hmm”  she nodded and sat on the bed.

After sometime she heard someone knocking on the door. She allows the person. She is her new house help. She smiled at her.

“ ma’am Vidhyut sir, ask to give you. Also said that he has some important calls to attend that's why he is in his office. You can get ready. He will come soon. Ma’am shall I leave for home if you are going out for dinner.”

“ Ok. And yes you can leave. There is no need to ask. You can leave whenever you want if there is no work.”

Once she went, Jeevika took the glass and started having a lemonade. While having a lemonade she slowly remembered what she did in her drunken state as she was thinking.

Her eyes went wide after remembering everything and she started chewing her nails. Soon Vidhyut returns and asked,

“ Aren't you ready till now? Now let's get ready together as we have to leave.”

“ Nooooo”  she shouted

“ Why?” He asked

“ Vo I …main…Vo..”

Looking at her fumbling state he realizes that she remembered what she did and he started laughing.

“ So you remember what you did?”

She looked at him angrily. And said,

“ Why are you laughing? And why did you accept that invitation? How will I face Abhi? He must be very angry at me.”

“ Areee how can I say no. She already knows this so if I have said no then she will be angry.”

She looked at him pouted,

“ She also knows. She must be Very angry with me.”

“ I don't know that jeevika. But if we are late she will be more angry.”

“ Nooo let me get a good dress.”  She ran inside the closet to get ready and Vidhyut smiled looking at her back.

Abhimaan was sitting on the sofa when he saw Vidhyut entering. His eyebrows frown when he didn't find Jeevika. So he spoke,

“ Where is your wife?”

Vidhyut got confused listening to him as she was with him when he entered. Then realized that she was hiding behind him. When Abhimaan looked careful he also realized the same. So he spoke,

“ That's why I always tell people to be careful. If you are careful there will be no need to hide.”

Vidhyut looked behind jeevika who pouted while listening to him and looked pleading at him. So he spoke,

“ Abhi….”

“ Ohh please don't be a lawyer for your wife.  She speaks a lot now, what happened to her tongue.”

Vidhyut looked back at jeevika and shook his head and went to sit on the sofa. She tried to hold his shirt but he didn't let go and went to sit.

Jeevika stood hanging her head low like a small child standing in front of her father after doing mischief.

“ Do you want to say something?”  Abhi asked,

“ I am sorry I didn't know it has alcohol.”

“ Wow, clap for your wife Vidhyut. She is going to a place like that and thinking that they will serve good things.”

“ Sorry ho gayi galti ek baar dobara nahi hoga.”

“ Kya nahi hoga dobara. You won't drink or you won't bid on me after drinking.”

“ I won't bid after drinking.”

“ What?”

“ I mean I won't drink next time.”

“ And what about all those things you said to me?”

She frown listening to him but then said,

“ But why will I say sorry for that? Tell me? It was true. Tell me how did Rihu come if you didn't do anything and because now that Rihu came anyone can say that you did it. Otherwise how did he come…”

Vidhyut burst out laughing and Abhimaan's eyes went wide listening to her. And when she realized what she was saying, she bit her tongue and went all red.  And scolded herself,

“ Jeevi what are you doing ? You didn't have to say that. Idiot.”

Abhimaan was going to say something just then Vidhyut said,

“ Wese Abhi, technically she is right.”

And laugh at Abhimaan.  As it's not everyday when someone speaks to Abhimaan like this. He looked both husband wife with wide eyes and said,

“ I think both of you have lost your mind and shame also. Shameless people. And Jeevika who is teaching you all these dirty things.”

“ My teacher.” She spoke

“ What the fuck?” Both the male present in the room shought from top of their lungs.  One being possessive for her wife and other for her sister.

“ I mean I have learnt in school in biology.” She said,

Both of them took a breath of relief. And Abhimaan said,

“ Jeevika please have a little hold on your tongue. And be careful next time”

She nodded and said,

“ I am sorry. I will be careful. Please forgive me this time.”

“ Fine. I am letting you go this time but will not do the same next time.”  Abhimaan said. But they heard a voice from behind.

“ But I haven't forgiven till now.” Advika said while coming. Jeevika looked at her and said,

“ Dii I am sooo sorry. I didn't mean to bid on Abhimaan sacchi but they were looking at my Vidhyut.”

“ So you decide to bid on My Maan….” She said with disappoint in her voice Jeevika was about to say something when she added,

“ That too for 10 chocolates. Really jeevika 10 chocolate. I was expecting good from you. I mean no doubt he is getting old but still he has a good physique. You could have asked atleast 100 chocolate for starting.”  She said while suppressing her laugh.

Everyone else laugh at him. And Advika hugged jeevika and said,

“ It's ok Mera beta. Hota hai. You didn't know so ho Gaya. But be careful.”

Jeevika nodded at her and Abhimaan looked at Advika as if she betrayed him. And he said,

“ Come to room I’ll show you who is old.”

“ See you are speaking bad and then tell me I am bad girl.” Jeevika said to Abhimaan.  Who shook his head.

“ Abhi I don't think you should say anything to jeevika. At least she didn't made you embarrassed infront of whole family.”  Advika said taunting Abhimaan.  Who roll his eyes and said,

“ Sorry Jeevika it's my fault only. Muje maaf kardo.”

“ Maaf Kiya.”  Jeevika spoke and laugh.

“ Vaise Advika di what did he do?” She asked,

Advika saod about how he got drunk and made her embarrassed infront of whole family. After that they had dinner while laughing and being happy.
