chapter 48

Author's POV.

Jeevika saw Vidhyut who was sleeping on his back while keeping his one hand on his stomach and one on his eyes. She huffed looking at her and cursed herself for being so stupid that now he is not talking to him.

Yes, after their talk he didn't talk to her and ignored her as much as he could. She tried to talk to him but he didn't pay any attention. She made pout and thought,

“ Jeevi you seriously need to think something otherwise he is not going to forgive you. Hmmm I seriously need to do something but in the morning.”

She went and settled herself beside him but he didn't pay any attention. She waited for a few minutes and like always he would take her in his arms but he didn't. Having no option she finally decided to do her on.

She moved his hand which was on his stomach and lay on his chest. He kept his hand beside him, not hugging her. But she took that hand and wrapped it around his waist.

“ Jeevi I am sleeping”

“ I know.”

She took his other hand which was on his eyes and wrapped that around her. Making sure he is completely hugging her.

“ Jeevi, I have to work in the morning.”

“ I know.”

She said while smiling and kissed his chest where his heart is.

“ Jeevi I am angry at you.”

“ I know.”

“ I am not talking to you.”

“ I know”

“ No talking means no cuddling.”

“ I know.”

“ But you are sleeping half on me.”

“ I know”

Receiving only I know as the answer he opened his irritatedly and looked at her who smiled cheekily at him. Knowing that she is doing it deliberately he spoke,

“ It's useless to tell you something. You won't listen.”

“ I know.”  She said while suppressing her laugh. He shook her head and closed his eyes.

Soon night turns into morning. Vidhyut opened his eyes and didn't find Jeevika at her place. He thought she must be downstairs so he set up on bed just then the door of the closet opened and Jeevika came out wearing a beautiful dress.

He thought that she would come and talk to him just like yesterday and try to pacify him. But what happened next left him confused.

She completely ignored his presence and went downstairs. This was shocking to him. Until yesterday she was roaming around with him. Cuddling him forcefully. Now suddenly she paid no attention to him. As if he was not even present in the room.

“ Didn't she want forgiveness? Till yesterday she was cuddling me forcefully. Now don't even look at me. Vidhyut beware you don't know what is cooking inside this little Patakha’s brain.”

He shook her head and went to get ready as he has some work in the office which he needs to complete. That's why he is going to the office today.

Jeevika came downstairs and saw Advika and Kajal were setting the table for breakfast. She went towards them and hugged them and saw her mother who was sitting there. She remembered yesterday’s event and how she didn't even ask her why she was behaving like this and slapped her. Her eyes got teary.

Radha came towards her and raised her hand to touch her but she flinched even before she could touch. Radha understands why this happened. She also now knows about her insecurity as kajal talked with her.

“ Jeevi I was not going to hit you. I know beta I have hurted you a lot. But when you suddenly ask for divorce and so I just got angry.”

“ But you didn't even ask me why?” She spoke in a slow voice.

“ I know I am sorry, please forgive me. After listening to all this, I am already regretting forcing you to marry when you were not ready for that.”

“ Now it's too late.” She said looking at her mother.

Radha was about to say something but Jeevika saw Vidhyut was descending the stairs. So she cut off her and looked at Kajal and asked,

“ Kajal Aunty, what is in breakfast?”

“ I have cooked Dosa for you.”

“ Ohh wow give me. I am already hungry and getting late.”

Kajal nodded and started serving her.  With every second Vidhyut’s doubt on her increases. He knows that his little Patakha is up to something but he doesn't know what.

Advika serves him breakfast. And started having it while looking at Jeevika, who was enjoying her food without looking at him. He couldn't have more patience so he was about to ask why she was behaving like this suddenly. Until yesterday she was roaming around.

But before that Abhimaan came and took a seat beside Jeevika and said something in her ears. And her face lit up. She jumped into her place and side hugged him. Vidhyut looked at them , narrowing his eyes. But what she said next only add to his anger and jealousy.

“ Thank you, thank you so much Abhi. You are the best. I love you.”

“ What the fuck?” Vidhyut said getting up from his seat and getting angry at jeevika.

“ What ?” Jeevika and Abhi both ask at the same time, rolling their eyes.

“ Why are you saying I love you to him?”  he said, getting offended. He is already very confused with Jeevika's behavior from morning. Now this is just making him more angry.

“ Because I love him.” Jeevika said as if she was done.

He comes towards her and pulled her from Abhi and said,

“ You can't tell him I love you. Nor can you hug him and stay away.”

But Abhi also pulled her towards him and said,

“ She can hug me and you can't stop her and about that I love you. So Sweety I love you too.”  He said sweety I love you towards looking at Jeevika with a smile.

“ No she can't and also stay away from my wife.” Vidhyut said but Abhimaan and Jeevika ignored him as if they were listening.

“ So Sweety don't you want to go. Your car is already waiting outside with the driver.” Abhimaan said to Jeevika by making sure that he sounded extra sweet.

“ I just can't believe that you are flirting with my wife in front of me.” Vidhyut said suffocating.

Jeevika turn towards him and said,

“ So Mr. Vidhyut Sinha Bye.”and went out.

And Vidhyut kept looking at her wide eyes not knowing what exactly happened. Abhimaan  suppressed his laugh looking at Vidhyut and said,

“ Come on Vidhyut you want to behave like angry birds. Then be one. But let my Sweety enjoy her vacation.”

Vidhyut got angry and threw a spoon at him.  And went to the office in anger. Once he left Advika spoke,

“ Maan Why are both of you troubling him?”

“ Come on Advika, we are just having a little fun.”

“ BTW  what is she going to do?”

“ Sorry Advika, my lips are sealed. I can't say. But I can say he is going to enjoy it a lot. But Bichare ki pareshani abhi shuru hi Hui hai.”

He said while chuckling.
