chapter 43

Author's POV.

The whole day Jeevika and Vidhyut enjoyed each other's  company. And He took her to the famous places of the City. She enjoyed it a lot. She never gets a chance to Visit new places but now with the Vidhyut she can do whatever she wants and can enjoy it without worrying about anything in the world.

At last in the evening they came back home. Vidhyut wants to keep a party but Jeevika refuses. She wants to enjoy it with the family so they decided to have a small cake cutting and dinner with the family in the backyard.

As soon as they entered the house Jeevika ran to her mother and hugged her in a sitting position while keeping his head on his shoulder.

“ AA gai meri bacchi?  Have you enjoyed your day?”

“ Ha maa. You know maa I have enjoyed a lot. This is one of the best birthday I have ever had. I  have seen so many new places and enjoyed it a lot.”

She saw Rihu was playing near the sofa so she sat beside him and took her on her lap.

“ Baby have you enjoyed today? Haa?”

“ Butiful” Ruhu spoke,

Vidhyut who listened this narrowed his eyes on her said,

“ Hey Tingu, you can't compliment my wife. Only I have the right to compliment her.”

“ Vidhyut learned from him, at least he is complimented. But you didn't compliment me.” She narrowed his eyes at Vidhyut.

“ Seriously Jeevika learned from him. He is only 15 months old. And I should learn. I am better than him in everything.”  he said while sitting beside her.

Rihu saw him and kissed Jeevika's cheeks. Vidhyut narrowed his eyes. But he just took a toy from his side and threw it on him.

“ Hey Tingu why are you hitting me? First you are calling my wife beautiful and then kissing her and now hitting me. You really want to be my enemy.”

He said while pinching his cheeks lightly. Of course it didn't hurt him but still he started crying. Jeevika looked angrily at Vidhyut.

“ Vidhyut, why are you doing this to him?”

She said to him and cooed Rihu.

“ Rihu baby shhh ok. I know your chachu is so bad. He pinched you but you see I will kiss you then it will be ok. Also will bit him ok.”

Saying she pressed a long kiss on his cheeks. And hit Vidhyut’s arms lightly. Rihu got happy, his teary eyes turned into a small smile.  And forward his other cheeks to kiss Jeevika which he did.

“ Look Jeevika, it's all his plan, he just wants kisses from you. Also I didn't pinch him that much, still he cried to make me look bad in front of you.”

“ Vidhyut, don't say anything like this. And how can he do something like that? He is such a small , innocent baby.”

Vidhyut narrowed his eyes and said,

“ He is not at all innocent. He is just like his father, manipulative.”

Abhi who listened this said,

“ Why are you dragging me in this?”

“ Because As far as I can remember he has your genes. And I am sure your baby can't be innocent.”

He looked at him and said,

“ Look what your son is doing. Really Rihu you don't have any right to keep your face in my wife’s neck.”

Saying he took him from his arm.

“ Now Rihu baby, you have kissed and touched my wife enough. Now go to your father's wife.”

Saying he gave Rihu to Advika and said to jeevika,

“ Come Jeevika don't you want to get ready for cake cutting. Come let's go.”

Saying he dragged her to their room. And everyone shook their heads at his behavior.

As soon as they entered room Vidhyut pinned jeevika to door and said in dominating Voice,

“ So you like when Rihu kisses you?”

“ He is just baby Vidhyut”

“ Whatever, you just can't tell any other male that you like his kissing. Now that you dare to say something like this, let's get you a small punishment.”

Saying he started kissing her from her jew to neck. And give her some hickey.

“ Now baby, remember to never repeat that mistake. You can't even say that to Rihu.”

She couldn't understand her overwhelming feeling and hugged him. Who picked her up and went to sit on the bed. They set on bed for some time with jeevika on Vidhyut's lap  while keeping her head on his shoulder.

After some time they got ready and went downstairs for dinner and cake cutting. Jeevika saw the arrangement and became happy.

She cut the cake and fed first to Vidhyut and then to everyone else. Vidhyut being a little naughty put some cake on her cheeks and laughed at her.

“ Uhhh Vidhyut. Why do you have to do this?”

“ What can I do? I really like to trouble you.” and laugh more.

She tried to put some cake on his face but him being strong she can't do this. At last being tired she pouted and went to  clean her face.

When she was returning she listened to something . Though she knew that this was wrong , she couldn't stop herself and watched and listened to someone's whole conversation.

Listening to it thought crossed her mind and her mood changed. This is not the first time this thought crossed her mind two to three times before also this thought came but she always said to herself that she is overthinking. But this time she couldn't remove that.

Her happy face changed into a sad one. She went back to the backyard for dinner. And sat on her chair.

When Vidhyut noticed her face he cupped her cheeks and asked worriedly

“ What happened Baccha?”

She nodded her head in no but couldn't control her tears which rolled down from her eyes. He hugged her to his chest and asked,

“ Shhh everything is ok tell me what happened?” He asked calmly, caressing her hair.

Everyone else also got panicked,

“ Vidhyut what happened to her? She was all ok before sometime?” Abhimaan asked worriedly.

“ Haa beta tell me ?” Radha asked but she didn't say anything, just hugged Vidhyut tightly.

“ I’ll take her to the room. All of you have your dinner. Once she will be ok. We will have our dinner in our room only.”

Saying he picked her in bridal style and went towards his room.

“ What happened to her, she was all ok.” Radha said worriedly.  Kajal and Advika console her they had little food and everything went to their room with worry about jeevika.

Vidhyut entered the room and closed the door with his leg. And made her sleep on the bed. He was about to move but she caught his shirt tightly.

“ I am here only not going anywhere ok. Just one minute.” Saying he loosened her hold on his shirt and removed her sandel and then his boots and came beside her. And took her in his arms.

“ Baccha please, how much will you cry. At Least tell me what happened?”

She hugged him tightly as if she would lose her hold and he would vanish. And said,

“ it's hurts”

“ Where? And how did you get hurt ?” He asked, getting panicked. She wants to say in her heart but still said slowly,

“ My head”

“ Why suddenly? let me just call the doctor.”

“ No please don't leave, just cuddle me please.”

Vidhyut  felt odd with this type of behavior. Of course she likes cuddling and hugging and kissing but never did she behave like this suddenly.  But he decided to let it go for now. Because as much as he wants to the reason. He doesn't want her to cry anymore. She kept hugging her and crying. He kept caressing her hair. Once sleep took over her he slowly came out of her hold.

He changed into comfortable clothes and called Advika to change Jeevika's clothes. Abhimaan and jeevika asked him what happened suddenly.

“ I don't know. She said her head aches but I feel like that is not true. But I didn't want her to cry anymore so I didn't ask much. But I will surely talk tomorrow.”

Once Advika came out changing her clothes he went inside and took her in his arms and kissed her forehead and started looking at her innocent face. Soon sleep took over him.

When Vidhyut felt empty he scratched his arms to take jeevika in his embrace. But found no one in bed. He opened his eyes and saw that morning came.

Last night crying if Jeevika came in his mind and his heart started beating fast. He came out of bed and checked the bathroom and closet when he found jeevika was not there he came downstairs harriedly.

But the scene in front of him made him shocked. Everyone was present in the living room and Radha who loves his jeevika more then herself slapped her.

“ Radha Maa” he sought and went towards them. Drags jeevika little away from her and asked,

“ Maa what are you doing?”

“ Ask her what she has done to earn this slap.” Radha said angrily.

“ Maa even if she has made some mistake you shouldn't slap her. Tell me what she did.” He asked while holding jeevika from her shoulder to give her support.

Jeevika looked at him but as soon as he looked at her she looked down. Nobody said anything.

“ Why all of you are not answering, just tell me what she has done. I know she won't do anything wrong.”  He supported her with knowing.

“ Look at him and look at you jeevika” Radha said angrily.

Abhimaan is looking at Jeevika closely and she is not someone who keeps quiet when someone says something to her. But her not answering and reacting made him more restless. He is just praying that his friend won't react the same way her mother is reacting. Advika was also praying that Vidhyut would react sanely after listening to what she has done.  She was looking at Vidhyut’s hand which was on Jeevika's shoulder to support  her in any situation but as soon as Radha said the next sentence his hold from her shoulder losses. And dropped beside him.

So here is the new update. I hope everyone will like it.
