chapter 42

Author's POV.

Jeevika opened her eyes and looked around the room. When she found that none was there she pouted. But then she remembered something and stood up from the bed and jumped,

“ Yeeee it's my birthday, My birthday, my birthday.”

And started jumping on the bed. Vidhyut comes out of the bathroom and smiles looking at his love who is happy on her birthday and jumping to celebrate it. He stood there for two minutes and came towards bed and took her in his arms and spine around. Jeevika was shocked at first, then looking at him got a little realex.

He spun her a little and then sat on the bed with her in his arms.

“ Hmm I can see someone is very happy on her birthday heena.”

“ Hoo! Why won't I be happy? I am turning 19 which means I am getting young unlike you who will get old.”

Vidhyut narrowed his eyes on her statement and said,

“ You think I am old. Then let me change your opinion.”

Saying he kissed her. When she was out of breath he broke it. Once they catches their breath he spoke,

“ See you can't even match my speed.”

“ So it's not my fault. I am little. And my nose is also little. And look at you big fatty.” she said, poking his biceps.

“  You know how to mold every situation on your side. You are never wrong? And How many times I have to tell you this is not fat. You idiot.”

“ Did you just call me an idiot? And you didn't even wish me a happy birthday. I am going to complain maa.”

Saying she ran out of room and went to her maa. Vidhyut also went behind her.

“ Maaaa…”

“ Haa beta I am in the living room. Come here.”

She went and sat beside Radha and side hugged her. Everyone else also present thereWhen Vidhyut came she said,

“ Maa, your Son is calling me Idiot.”

Vidhyut took sit in front of her and said,

“ Don't lie jeevi. I never called you an idiot.”

“ Hoo you are lying you called me an idiot.”

“ Is that so then tell everyone why I will call you Idiot.” he asked with a smirk.

“ Because I call you fat”

“ And why did you call me fat?” he said with a smirk.

“ Because I was ….”  She stopped realizing that she couldn't tell she was out of breath because of the kiss and called him fat, getting irritated.

She took a cushion and threw it on him.

“ You are so bad and mean.”

He laughed at him and said innocently,

“ See Maa I didn't do anything but still she is hitting me.”

“ Yes, jeevi I am not saying anything because of your birthday but you still can't hit him.”

“ Hoo maa you always take his side. You don't love me any more. In Fact nobody loves me. Nobody wished me a happy birthday.” She said making puppy eyes.

Rihu who was playing with toy in floor come crawling to her and said,

“ Chi I lobe”

Jeevik took him in her arms and Rihu started kissing her face, making her giggle. Vidhyut come towards them and took Rihu from her arms and said,

“ Bas Tingu done. You have kissed my wife enough. Now let me wish her birthday.”

He tried to take Ruhu who clung to jeevika more. But still Vidhyut took her in side hug and said,

“ Happy birthday Meri Jaan.”

She made face and said,

“ You are wishing me now when I ask.”

“ ohh let me tell you, you were one who started teasing me, calling me old. Remember.”

“ Hmm thank you.” She said with an attitude. To which he just shook her head.

“ And yes, before you complain to me that I didn't  wish you to let me remind you, before I can wish you started your drama.”

She pouted and said,

“ Ufff it's my birthday can't I get some attention.”

“ You can get all the attention in the world, Mera beta. Aajja.”  Radha said and opened her arms.  Jeevika hugged her. And Radha wished her birthday while kissing her forehead.  Soon everyone else also wished her.

She went back to her room to get ready for the day.  After taking a bath when she satting her hair, Vidhyut came and hugged her from behind and kept his chin on her shoulder.

She looked at him and raised her eyebrows. To which he just shook his head and  kept hugging her. They stayed few minutes in that position then Vidhyut spoke,

“ Do you want to go out ? Want to see the city?”

On the listing about going out she got excited and nodded. He just kissed her cheeks and said,

“ Fine, get ready in five minutes, we will go out.”

Soon she came down and saw everyone present there. She looked at them and took a seat beside Vidhyut. They had their breakfast and then Vidhyut said,

“ Come Jeevi let's go”

But she pouted and modded in no.

“ Why what happened?”

“ Everyone is here to celebrate my birthday. Now if we go out they will feel bad Naa.”

Everyone was looking at her and how matured she can be when needed. Though she is childish sometimes, she never neglects someone’s feelings and their efforts. She always respected that.

“ No beta you can go to explore the city. Don't worry about us. You see your Maa has to go to hospital for her routine check-up. Me, Advika and Abhimaan were going to see my daughter who studies here.”

Everyone nodded at her and Abhimaan decided to tease her.

“ Aur Visie bhi we don't want to be with someone who fights on her birthday. At least on that day we should get some breaks.”

“ Hoo, when did I fight, all of you always tease me and trouble me. Maa you tell me do I fight with everyone.”

“ Honestly  yes you are finding and complaining from the moment you wake up.”

“ Hoo you are so bad. He is no one to you, you can't take his side.”

“ Why won't she take…”

“ Abhi not today pls yaar let her enjoy today and she can fight as much as she wants and no one can stop her.”

Jeevika got happy and showed her tongue to Abhi.

“ Haa ha be possessive take her site. What can I do now when my friend is not my anymore.”

Abhi tried to dramatically coping Jeevika's actions. But she narrowed her eyes and said

“ hey he is not your, not before, not now and never will be your in future. He is mine and only mine.” Jeevika said getting offended

“ But he is my friend” Abhi  said arguing with her

“ whatever but he is my husband now so he doesn't belong to anyone except me. And especially not you.” She said, circling her hands around his arms.

“ I don't understand who is more possessive. You about him or he about you. Uff I am tired of both of your possessiveness.”

Abhimaan said. But Vidhyut said,

“ Abhi I think it won't be good if you don't talk about possessiveness.” Vidhyut said with a smirk.

“ Fine if you both are in one team then I can't do anything. But still Jeevika remember he is my friend first.” He said to tease Jeevika.

“ I hate you Abhi,”' she said and pulled Vidhyut out with her.  Who suppressed his smile.

“ Maan it's her birthday. You should not make her irritated and not tease her.”

“ What can I do Advi? It's just that when I am with her I can feel like I can leave all the moments I have missed with my siblings. And I just can't stop myself. I must say Aunty you gave her the perfect name Jeevika, she is truly everyone’s lifeline.”

Radha smiled at him.

Once they are out of the house Jeevika stood in front of Vidhyut with her hands on her hips and said,

“ Vidhyut say you belong to me.”

“ what?”

“ don't act stupid and say you belong to me and not anyone else.”

He smiled at her possessiveness and said lovingly,

“ I Vidhyut Sinha accept that from the moment Jeevika Vashisht entered in my life my soul, my body, my love, my care everything just belonged to her.”

She smiled at him and opened her arms to which he hugged her while picking up and then spine her to which she giggled.

Our jeevika is turning 19 finally and her birthday started on good with everything and everyone.
