chapter 33

Author's POV.

Abhimaan and Vidhyut came out of the house and settled on the grass in the  garden.  They were looking at Moon for sometime when Abhimaan finally broke the silence,

" Are you going to start or you need a punch in your stomach to speak everything out of it."

" She already told you about the nightmare didn't she?"

" Yes, I just wanted to know how you get them back everyday.  If they were almost stopped. what triggered it?"

" You already know about our fight right?"

When Abhimaan  nodded he continued,

Flashback.

Vidhyut was working in his cabin when he received a call from the hospital where he is one of the trustees. Not only that more than half of the expenses of the hospital like staff salary, equipment, and treatment of poor patients he is giving.

He got confused looking at the doctor's call. He is one of the senior doctors and hardly calls him. He calls him when it's an emergency. So he picked a call.

" Hello"

" Hello sir, I am Dr. Shetty speaking."

" Yes Dr. Tell me"

" Sir there is an emergency in our hospital. Can you please come here? I can't explain it on call."

" Fine, I'll be there in a few minutes."

He reached hospital in next ten minutes and directly went to dr.'s cabin.

" Thank god you came sir."

"Dr. What happened, what is an emergency?"

" Sir please come with me."

DR. took him to the ICU. where a boy around twelve years was sleeping with all the machines and tubes attached to his small hands.  Looking at him anyone can say he was beaten to death.

" Who is this Dr.?"

" Actually sir, this morning one of the Auto drivers admitted him. But he was not his relative. But looking at the boy's condition we admitted him and also started treating him. After informing the police we got to know about his parents. But there is the problem. "

" If you know who his parents are, what is the problem?"

" Actually, sir, he is the illegitimate child of his Father. And the problem is that I have doubts that Wife of his father has done this with him. But that Veil woman is claiming to love him despite of Being the son of his husband who is out of wedlock. Also Want to take him back. But somehow I couldn't bring myself to trust. But sir because his father is here, the police are also supporting them. Sir we could make them stay till he wakes up then we can know the truth. But I don't have the power to do this. If you can help."

Vidhyut looked at the boy without blinking, knowing what are the consequences of being an illegitimate child. He has gone through this and knows pain.

He looked at doctor and said,

" Where is  his father and his wife? And when will he get his consciousness back?"

" Sir in the waiting room and the police are also there. And he will get his consciousness back in a few hours. Probably in two hours."

" Make sure he gets his consciousness back soon. Treat him well. Till let me talk to the police commissioner."

Dr. Shetty knows that Vidhyut is one of the most influential men in the city. If he will call police commissioner then he will do according to Vidhyut's wish. And the same happened.

When they reached the area where that husband and wife were present , the police left. The woman protested but the man didn't say anything. That made Vidhyut angry,

" What kind of Father you are ? You know your son can die and you don't even care."

" Yes, I don't care. Because he is not my son. He is a dirty secret nobody is supposed to know but his mother left him on my door strap and died."

" Whatever it is, he is your son. It's because if you are in this world."

" I don't want him in this world. Let him die. As I have said, he is not my son and I want him to die."

" Then why did you keep him in your house? You should have sent him to an orphanage, at least someone who really needs a child and knows the value of it would have adopted him."

"I wanted to do that only. But this woman wants him to keep him so that he can do household work."

" So what's wrong is that he is your son and working in his own father's house is not wrong either."

Vidhyut fist his palm. He just wants the boy to wake up. And wants proof that this husband wife is the reason for his state then he will make sure to punish him.

After one and half hours the boy wakes up. He asked him to trust. First, that boy was frightened to admit the truth. Vidhyut gave him courage and he can help but only he will tell the truth. So that boy admitted that his father's wife beat him.

" When she told me that I am the son of some slut. I got angry and answered her back. Then she got angry and beat me. She always behaved badly with me. Called me with the names like son of slut and whore." The boy ended up crying.

Vidhyut knows how he must have felt. So he consoles him. And then make sure that he receives good treatment and once he is ok. He will go to one of his orphanages. And then receive a good education.

All this triggered him and he went to boxing to let out his anger and then at late night ended up fighting with Jeevika.

Flashback ends

" I still don't believe this kind of person lives in this world." Abhimaan spoke.

"Hmm. I just don't understand that if someone doesn't want a child or doesn't want to give them love why do they bring them into this world? To live alone and fight with the world?"  He said with a sad tone.

" I understand your pain Vidhyut. But why are you not going to the doctor? You have taken treatment all this year. Why not now?"

" Actually I have already visited the Doctor but It's just I didn't tell Jeevika. I know her if she knew about me visiting the Doctor she would have asked to come with me. And I can't take her to my therapy session."

" You did wrong Vidhyut. Do you know how much she was crying today in my cabin? I have never seen her like this. And till when you will not tell her about your past and truth haa. She deserves to know."

Listening to this Vidhyut got angry and shouted,

" Then what do you want me to do? Tell her the whole truth so like everyone else she also leave me. So Once again I will be alone. So there won't be any single person who loves me? Tell me you want that?"

" Vidhyut calm down, you need to understand she is just 18. She can't handle all this all alone."

" That's what I am saying, she is just 18. She won't understand my point and leave me just like everyone else. I will be alone once again."

" Why are you thinking negatively yaar? Have you tried to explain this to her? And I am telling you tell her the truth she will understand."

" No no no. She can't come to know the truth. I don't want to be alone once again. I need her in my life."

" So what do you want, haa , that she lives  with you and suffers. You got angry because you were suffering from your past memories. You got angry today because she asked for my help. She was feeling helpless and crying and also for help because she doesn't know what is the reason that is making you suffer. You can't burden her with your past. And can't let her suffer because of it."

" Ohh now my past has become a burden? Why Abhimaan because your so-called mother is the reason for my suffering? Why? Because you forgave her and started calling maa. Now my past is a burden?"

Vidhyut said with a sad and broken voice.

" You are taking it wrong Vidhyut"

" No no no Abhimaan Singh Rathore I am talking about it correctly now. She is leaving with you taking care of your child and loving him so why will you care about someone else's suffering. Now that you remember how much she loved you when you were a kid, why would you care about someone who has suffered as a kid?

Now that you remember how she loved you, why would you care about someone who has listened to words like son of slut, son of whore. When he didn't even know the meaning of that word. At least you have enjoyed that time of your life you will think as someone else suffering is nothing."

Listening to all this, Abhimaan got angry and punched him. Vidhyut also punched him back and said,

"You know Abhi till now I didn't have a family but Now I don't have a best friend either.  Because clearly your love for your mother wins against your love for your friend. You showed me Abhi however close we are I am still your half brother. Whom you will never choose above your mother. "

" Have you gone mad or what Vidhyut? From where all this comes. I just wanted to tell you the truth to Jeevika so that you can be free from your suffering. I am giving you this advice for your relationship."

Advika  with jeevika and Kajal come out as Raghav went to call them  when he saw both of them fighting with each other.

" What is happening here?" Advika asked as they showed them shouting at each other.

" Nothing" Abhimaan said, as he knows that Vidhyut is not in a good state of mind and he doesn't want Vidhyut to do anything that makes him regret later.

Vidhyut who saw Jeevika came to her and hold is wrist in his hands and said,

" Come Jeevika, let's go back to our house. We don't have anyone here. They are family but we are not part of it. We don't belong to them. Come let's go."

Before jeevika can know or ask what happened Abhimaan came and pushed him.

" No, she is not going with you. Not at least when you have lost your mind and become mad. "

" You have no right to make me stay away from my wife."

" I have all the rights. And I need your permission to show my right" Abhimaan said and turn towards Advika,

" Take Jeevika inside with you Advika"

" But Maan…"

She couldn't complete as Abhimaan shouted,

" Do fucking as I say."

Which made Advika and Jeevika flinch. He never shouted at her no matter what the situation was. But today he is hurt, hurt with his best friend. With himself that he can't make his best friend understand things.

" Come Jeevika" she said calmly knowing the seriousness of the situation.

" But Advika didi…"

" Jeevika go inside Advika if you want me to solve this matter. You yourself came to me right. Then do as I say. " Abhimaan said while taking deep breaths to keep his anger in control.

" No, she is my wife and will go with me." Vidhyut spoke.

But Abhimaan punched him. And Advika dragged Jeevika inside. Jeevika looked back with tears in her eyes. As she saw, Abhimaan punched him.

Once Jeevika and Advika was inside Abhimaan spoke,

" Now come here only when you have your senses back."

Saying he went back. Kajal who was standing there take steps towards Vidhyut but he showed his palm to her and said,

" This is all because of you. Why in this whole big world you have to be my mother."

Saying he left from there. And kajal stood there not knowing what happened. What to do. For the first time she has her son fighting. They always stayed together no matter what. But today they were with each other.

One's eyes were reflecting pain and anger. And others eyes reflecting hurt.

So how is the chapter?
