chapter 28

Author's POV.

Like usual Jeevika is coming back with the driver. After marriage Vidhyut made sure that she always goes with the driver if she is going out. He doesn't want to take any risk about her security.  Also he doesn't want her to face any unnecessary problems.

All the way she was engrossed in her phone so she didn't realize where she was going. When car stopped she looked outside and got confused and asked,

" Kaka, why are we here?"

" Vo Jeevika betiya Vidhyut sir asked me to take you here after college."

She Huffed as she knows he wants to pacify her anger that's why he asked Driver to drop her to his office. She entered inside. Now that everyone knows who she is. They didn't Even dare to raise their eyes on her. She went to receptionist and asked,

" Where is Vidhyut?"

She looked at her and realized who she was.

" Ma'am sir is in the finance department. Checking something. But if you want you can go directly to his cabin."

" No. I will go to him only."

She said and was about to move just then receptionist call her and said,

" Ma'am sorry for last time. I really didn't know something like that could happen. I was just trying to help you."

" It's ok. It's not your fault. How will you know something like this will happen?"

She gave her assuring smile and went. He went to the floor where the finance department was. She came out of the lift. Vidhyut was standing between Vishal and his back was facing her. He was interesting something. Rahul, Vidhi and Priti who were standing in front of him looked at Jeevika who came out of the lift.

Rahul was looking at Jeevika without blinking, who was looking cutest with that wink print t-shirt. Vidhyut who noticed Rahul looked at his back. And saw Jeevika coming. He turn towards him and asked,

" Rahul, I don't think you like your eyes anymore."

Rahul gulped listening him and said,

" No no sir, I like them a lot."

And put his hands on his eyes. She came and stood beside the Vidhyut as Vishal sifted his place to give it jeevika. Vidhyut circles his arms around her waist. And gave her a smile.

" You came ?"

" Kaka said you asked him to drop me here?"

" Hmm" Vidhyut kissed her forehead. And turn towards all of them.

" Let's take a small break. Mrs. Prena asked someone to arrange lunch for us in my cabin.  Meanwhile all of you also can have lunch and then you, Rahul, Vishal and Vidhi four of you come to my cabin. I will check the remaining files there only. Also have you arranged things I have asked you to."

" Sure I will arrange the lunch and Yes I have arranged things you have asked."

She replied with a small smile. All the while Jeevika was quiet as she was angry at Vidhyut. But  she still doesn't want to show this infront of everyone. As it's their personal matter. Vidhyut also deliberately took the names of four employees. As he knows otherwise Priti will also come with them. And Jeevika was already angry so he didn't want to take any chances and make her more upset.

After instructing them both of them went to his cabin. As soon as they entered in the  lift Jeevika pinched Vidhyut's hand which was resting on her waist.

" Aaouch. What is this yaar jeevi? You are biting me from the morning?"

" Then keep your hands to yourself ."

" Why?"

"Because I am angry. Don't you know?"

" But you didn't tell me anything there?"

" Because I don't want everyone to know that we had a fight. It's our personal matter and I want to keep it to us only. Now don't touch me."

Instead of going away from her he pulled her near him with her waist. And she collided with his chest. And said,

" I never knew My baby was so smart. Btw if you have shown your tantrums in front of everyone then only I would have accepted it gladly."

" Are you sure Vidhyut?"

" Yes"

She thought for two minutes and said,

" Pakka, You won't say anything whatever I do?" She asked, raising her eyebrows.

" No I won't, " he said with confidence. As he thought, what will she do?  just to show her right to him like last time. So he said confidentiality  not knowing  what is cooking in her small brain.

" Fine then. So if you will get angry at me or at anyone then I won't forgive you or will not talk to you."

" Fine then you can do whatever you want but then you have to come with me and also after that you have to forgive me."

" Done, I will forgive you and will also come with you."

She said getting happy with her plan to trouble him. Also she already warned him yesterday only because she is going to be hard on him. So now no back off.

They are done with their lunch and as per Vidhyut demand Mrs. Prena, Vishal, Rahul and Vidhi come. Jeevika said slowly,

"Vidhyut your challenge started. You won't get angry matter what"

"  I won't. You are free to do anything you won't "

Everyone entered his cabin. Jeevika was sitting on the sofa. Vidhyut started checking files. For some time she didn't say or do anything. She took out her books and started some work.

After sometime she acted as she was so confused with her work and pouted. Vidhyut was looking at everything from the corner of his eyes. Knowing that if his little Patakha has said something she will do.

Then she suddenly stand up from his place and said,

" Vidhyut I need help?"

" What happened?"  He asked, looking at her not knowing , what is she upto.

" Vo I was doing my homework. And now I am stuck with sum and I can't solve it."

" Fine Give me your book and I will solve it for you."

" No no you are busy. I don't want to waste your time. Also all of them are from the Finance department. They have studied what I am studying  Then let anyone of them help me."

Now he is more confused with her behavior. As he is not understanding what she is upto. But still can't say anything,

"Fine, then Mrs. Prena will help you." He said and looked at her. Before she can reply Jeevika spoke,

" No no she can't. I mean I show you are talking mostly with her and making her understand work. If she gets busy with me then your work will be affected.  If you Don't mind, Rahul can help me."

Listening to Rahul 's name Vidhyut realized that his little Patakha is on a mission to make him jealous and test his patience. And she smiled cheekily at him. But now he can't say anything. So having no option he said,

" Fine, he can help you. But I want you to focus on studies and not chit chat. So you will sit here only."

" Fine, I don't mind." She said, shrugging her shoulders. Knowing she has hit the right spot. And giggles slowly.

She settled with Rahul on the sofa in front of Vidhyut. And said while pouting,

" Rahul Please help me with this sum. I am not getting anything."

" It's ok Ma'am let me help you."

" Please call me Jeevika"

" No no, how can I call you by your name?"

" I thought you were my friend, that's why I asked Vidhyut to let you help me but I think you don't like me. And you don't want to be my friend. It's Ok. Maybe I am not enough to be your friend."

She said with a sad tone. Rahul got panic and said,

" Why are you saying this? I thought you don't want to befriend me because you are my boss's wife. "

" Why won't I befriend you? You are so cute. "

" Please jeevika I am not even near cute. But you are the cutest girl I have ever met."

He said and because Jeevika is not used to compliments she blushed. Vidhyut who listens to this interaction fist his hand but of course he can't say anything. He knows she is doing it deliberately to make him jealous. So he gets angry. But of course he won't show it. As he wants his forgiveness.

And for that he has to control himself from getting angry. He glared at Rahul but his whole focus was on jeevika.

Rahul started helping jeevika. Next fifteen minutes were the hardest fifteen minutes of his life. As he was controlling his anger. As the love of his life is giggling, smiling with someone. But he can't do anything as it's a part of his punishment. And he can do anything to get his forgiveness.

" Wow Rahul, you solved it in a few minutes. And here I didn't even know how to start." She completed him.

" It's ok ma'am it was not that difficult you can ask me anytime you want."

" Yes, I will ask for your help only if you are so intelligent." She said and looked at Vidhyut and gave him a smile. To which he was just glaring.

" Rahul, let's go for coffee in the cafeteria. Till Everyone finishes their work."

Rahul who has already seen Vidyut glaring gulped. He can't refuse jeevika but can't say yes. Because if he goes, Vidhyut will kill him. But before he can reply Vidhyut spoke,

" Enough. No one is going anywhere. And jeevika we are going out. Everyone else, we will continue this tomorrow. "

" But My coffee …" she asked him innocently.

" If you want Mari Jaan I will buy you the whole caffe. But for now you are coming with me "

Everyone got the clue and went out leaving both of them. As everyone leaves Jeevika knows she is in trouble looking at Vidhyut.

" Come Jeevi, I will buy you coffee." He said take steps towards her.

" No Vidhyut. I was just troubling you. You have troubled me a lot so I was just taking small revenge." Saying she runs the opposite site.

" No baby, why are you running? Let's get you coffee." Saying he runs behind her.

They had their little catching game. And finally Vidhyut caught her and made her sit on the table. All the while his whole cabin is filled  with Jeevika's laughter.

" So baby, where do you want coffee?" He asked, poking her stomach lightly.

" Auch, I was just troubling you. Am I successful?"  She asked while locking her hands around his neck.

" Very well, meri jaan. You know How to take my Jaan hena?"

" Why will I take your Jaan when I know how to make you suffer in my own way?"

" Is that so?" He asked, tickling her. And once again his whole cabin filled with laughter.
