chapter 23

Author's POV.

Vidhyut entered the warehouse. And saw that the manager was tied to the ceiling with his hands above his head and Raghav made sure that he was standing on his toes.  He was already bitten by Abhimaan's man.

He came towards the table where different types of knives were placed. He picked one of them and started checking it. And asked,

"  I hope Raghav you have done his khatirdari well?"

" Ji sir. I have done my best."

" Well I am already impressed by looking at all the blood. " He said, winking. And asked,

" BTW tell me which knife you like among these?"

" Me sir?" Raghav asked

" Of course you Raghav tell me ?"

Raghav came and look closely and gave one of them to vidhyut.

" Wow, nice. Does it work nice?"

" You should check your own sir."

" Good idea " saying he aimed at the manager and threw it at him. It cut his ears and he shouted in pain.

" Ahhhh sir, please leave me. I didn't know she was your wife. Otherwise I would have never dared to even look at her. Please sir. I thought she was some teenage girl who was there to seaduse you. And  you never look at girls so I thought I could take advantage. But  please, sir , forgive me. This is the last mistake I have made. Please sir."

" Tak Tak I am not satisfied. What is this yaar Vidhyut let me show you how to do it"

Abhimaan said while coming from behind. And took one knife and threw it at the manager and cut his neck.  Blood started to flow from there and managers cried more in pain.  Just then Abhimaan asked,

" BTW why are we torturing him?"

Manager looked at him with wide eyes. This man threw knife at him and made a cut and still didn't know the reason.

" This fucking shit had touched my little Patakha."  Vidhyut replied while throwing one more knife at him and that knife stuck on his leg.

" Ahhhhh please sir please forgive me."

" Forgive" Abhimaan  chuckled and threw one more knife at him.  Then turn towards Vidhyut and asked,

" Didn't your little Patakha blasted, on him? She should have slapped him. "

" She made a cut on his hand."

" Then let's have fun with that cut." Abhimaan says and signals to Raghav. He went and opened that man.

Vidhyut came with chill power and put on the cut on his hands which Jeevika made. When he shouted in pain. Vidhyut took a knife and pressed it to his cheeks and dragged it till his throat. And said,

" You know I don't like it when someone sees her in a wrong way and you dared to touch her. You were asking her what benefit you will get. Then let me show you."

Saying he slit his throat. And then wipe knife and his hands on manager's dead body and said,

" You know I can't go to my baccha with blood on my hands"

He took a bath there and went out. And asked Abhimaan if he needs help in work.

" No, I will manage. You should go. Jeevika must be alone. "

" She is not alone. Mrs. Rathore is with her. Don't worry. Tell me if you have some work. "

" No, I will manage to take a rest. What about this dead body? "

" Feed him to the dogs. But not before making sure everyone knows about this. So they can know what happens when someone messes with Vidhyut Sinha's wife."

Abhimaan Smirk and nodded at him. He just smiles in return and goes back to his little Patakha.

Here once Vidhyut left. Jeevika dragged Kajal to watch a movie. They watched a movie for sometime when Kajal saw that Jeevika's eyes were dropping.

" Come on jeevika you are sleepy. Let's go to sleep."

" But Vidhyut…"

" He has some work so of course there is time for him to return. "

" But Authy I won't be able to sleep without cuddling something. And I don't have any soft toys with me. Whom I can cuddle. And I always cuddle him. Now he is not here. I won't be able to sleep."

" But Jeevika you are already sleepy. Try. You will be able to sleep."

Jeevika think something and then said,

" Ok you come with me. I will cuddle with you today "

" But jeevika .."

" Are Aunty,  come with me na. You can go when Vidhyut comes."

Saying she dragged Kajal to sleep with her. She puts her head on Kajal's chest and sleeps comfortably by wrapping her arms around her.

Kajal started caressing her hair and putting  her time to time. Jeevika felt relaxed and spoke in her sleepy tone,

" You are the best maa. I love you."

She was in her sleepy state so didn't realize that she is not with her Maa but with kajal. Though kajal knows that these words are not meant for her. But couldn't help but feel emotional. Soon sleep consumed her.

After sometime when Vidhyut returns he sees both of them sleeping peacefully. Smile made its way on his face. Slowly he took out his phone and clicked their pic.

He thought at least Jeebika is lucky to get love from kajal. He knows what situation she faced but still can't bring himself to forgive her.

He didn't want to disturb them so decided to change and sleep in another room. He opened his wardrobe because of which Kajal woke up.

She came out of Jeevika's hold. She thought Vidhyut will get angry so she started speaking,

" I refused her Saying…"

" It's ok . No need to explain."

" I will go to that room. Also will leave in morning. When I will go Mandir."

" Vo…I…"    Vidhyut hesitates before speaking; he doesn't know how to tell her. But kajal smiled and encouraged him to speak,

" Vo If you don't mind, stay with us for the next two or three days. Jeevika has the last days of Vacation.  She really likes you. If you stay, she will like it.

When Kajal didn't replied he added

" I will also like it if you will stay."

Kajal looked at him with teary eyes and nodded. She doesn't trust her words.

She went to the other room which Vidhyut gave her when she came here. And cried.

" Thank you so much Jeevika. Your name is true for you. You are truly the life line of everyone. Especially my Vidhyut. I never thought he would let me in this house. But look at him.  But look, he said he would like it if I would stay here. Now I will Stay here and pamper you both tomorrow. "

She thanked Jeevika for coming into Vidhyut's and her life.  She wiped bee tears and set an alarm for the next morning. So that she can make their favorite breakfast for both of them.

Because of Advika, Abhimaan is now in a good relationship. But for Vidhyut she never thought this day would come.

On the other hand Vidhyut  also took sleeping jeevika in his arms. And said,

" You are truly a blessing for me. Just you being beside me makes everything right, everything perfect. I am truly lucky to have you. I never thought I would let her enter my house. I never thought that I would be able to tell her to stay with me. But today  just because of you I am able to do that. Looking at her efforts for Abhimaan I always thought that if she will stay with me she will do the same for me. But never got courage to let her enter my house or heart but you let me help her to do it without any pressure. Just you being beside me let me do things I have never thought of.  I love you Meri Jaan. I really do "

Saying he kissed her temple and sensing his presence she cuddled him more.

I know this chapter is short but I thought that it's very emotional and adding something else will lose its charm. So I hope you are not upset with it.

Am I able to portray the emotions of Vidhyut and Kajal in a proper manner?
