chapter 22

Author's POV.

Vidhyut and jeevika return home. She made coffee and passed him. Once they are done she asked him,

" Now you go."

" Aree don't you have work. Go and do your work."

" And what will you do."

" Umm I'll watch cartoons."

" Seriously jeevi cartoon. Don't you have to find books which you are going to study? Or want to know what you are going to study?"

" Ohh come on, I have two days before my college starts. I will not study for two days. I will enjoy it. Now go"

Saying she stood up and tried to pull him so he could stand. But of course he was muscular, he didn't even move an inch. She tried two or three times but failed when he realized that she was tired . He just gave a light pull and she landed on his lap.

" Tired baby"

" Hfff why won't I look at you so fat and look at me I am so thin. How will I be able to dragge you? You should have helped me a little."

" Ohh sweetheart I am not fat and this is called mussels. And you don't know about me. I have a lot of fan following. Girls die to see this, you know." He said to her while winking.

" They are shameless girls who die to see someone else's husband. Hahh I think they should die only."

" Jealous are we?"

She already has a lot now. First Priti eyeing him. And now he is talking about his fan following. She remembered something and smiled mischievously.

" I think you should be jealous. You know why because fans of yours can't meet you. Or you can't talk to them. But I can talk to my fans. "

He raised his eyebrows. So she continued,

" Ohh you remember your employee, what is his name? Haa Rahul he was smiling looking at me. Alsk you know when I went there to search my phone he was the one who gave me it. Also you know how he introduced when I asked him his name he said, Rahul naam toh suna hoga. Just like the hero of some movie. You know I also find him cute."

She completed her talk and he knows she is trying to make him jealous as he talks about his fan following. Steal this idea that someone helped her and her finding him cute didn't settle him.

He grab her nape of neck from behind and pulled her closer they are just inches apart then he spoke,

" Ohh so you find him cute just like a hero. Then what about me Meri Jaan."

She gulped but didn't say anything. He dip his head in her crook of neck and kissed there and said,

" I am waiting for Answer baby"

" Vi.." She wanted to take his name. But she couldn't complete it as he was still kissing and she didn't know how to react.

" Ohh you think of me as a Villain. Then let me show you what this villain of yours can do."

Saying he started kissing her from the neck to Jew. When he reached near her lips he looked at her. When he didn't find any hesitation in her eyes he was about to kiss her just then the bell of his home rang. They came back to their senses and Jeevika stood up from his lap and Vidhyut went to open the door.

As soon as he opened the found Kajal there. Both of them looked at each other. When Jeevika saw her she came running to her and hugged her.

" Aunty wow what a surprise. You came here to meet us, come" saying she tried to drag her. But kajal didn't move. Both Vidhyut and Kajal are looking at each other and having the same flashback.

Flashback. ( Three years back)

Vidhyut after working for somany years and after clearing every debt of his father's company finally brought this new penthouse for himself. When Kajal comes to know about this she went to mandir and did Puja for his better future and for his happiness in this new home. After that she came here to give him prasad.

Vidhyut was working when she came. When he opens the door he finds her. And looking at her he got angry.

" What the fuck you are doing here?"

" Vo I am here to give you this prasad. I have prayed for you"

He started laughing and said,

" You prayed for me. For what my death. "

" What are you saying? Why will I pray something like this? I prayed for your happiness."

" Happiness. You know this is just a word for me. I never know how it feels and you are the sole reason for this. Ohh Now I am getting it. Everything for you has a price. Right. Then tell me how much your prayers cost and I will pay. Then you leave my side. And never come back here "

" You are taking it wrong."

" I am taking it right now, tell me the price of your prayers and then leave. And let me you never dare to enter here again. Otherwise I will do something you will regret whole your life "

" I am already regretting my life. Don't worry I won't come here"

Saying she left from there while crying.

( For those who don't know who Kajal is, let me tell you she is not only Abhimaan's mother. She is also Vidhyut' s mother. Vidhyut is her illegitimate child. You will know more about their relationship as the story continues. Many readers know Kajal's past as they have read Angel's Devil. But who doesn't know, don't worry you will know as the story moves.)

Flashback ends.

They are remembering that incident when jeevika shook her.

" Aunty what are you thinking? Come."

Vidhyut also come out of his thoughts and gulped and said,

" Come Mrs. Rathore."

She nodded at her and entered the house she never thought would be able to enter. Jeevika made her seat on the sofa and went to fetch water for her.

There was awkward silence between Vidhyut and Kajal. It's almost been one and half years since he knew Kajal's past. But both of them never talked directly like Abhimaan and Kajal did. Whatever he knows is from Abhimaan.

Jeevika gave water to her and set beside her and Asked,

" You are here to meet me Aunty?"

When Kajal didn't replied Vidhyut spoke,

" She is here to stay tonight with you."

She got confused listening to him. And asked,

" What do you mean by that?"

He sighed as he knew it would be difficult to make her understand. He called sujata who was their house help. And said,

" Sujata take Mrs. Rathore to the room I asked you to make ready for her. Also give her some refreshments That room is ready right?"

" Yes sir, the room is ready just like you asked and the refreshments are also ready. "

He looked at Kajal who nodded in understanding as they need privacy and also knows jeevika doesn't like to stay without him. And went with Sujata.

" Will you tell me what is happening?"

He pulled her on his lap and she rested her head on his shoulder. He started caressing her hair and said,

" Vo I have important work tonight so I won't be home. That's why she is here. She will stay with you tonight. As I don't want to leave you alone."

As soon as he completed she jerk her head towards him and asked with pout,

" Why do you have to go? Can't you complete your work tomorrow. I won't disturb you Tomorrow. Pakka"

She said while pinching her throat. And made pout.

" Sorry baccha it's important. I can't postpone it. I can't wait till tomorrow."

" You are saying you have to kill someone that you can't wait till tomorrow."

She said cutely. He chuckled at her and bite her nose.

" Shii, what is your problem with my nose? You keep biting it wherever you get the chance."

" I already told you I found it cute "

She narrowed her eyes at him and bit his cheeks and then ran away while laughing. He shook his head at her childish behavior. And went to work in his Study. As he still has time to go. He will go after dinner.

Jeevika went to kajal and sat on her bed in Indian style and put a cushion on her lap and pout. Looking at her kajal chuckled and asked,

" So you are angry with him?"

" No I am not. I know he must have some important work that's why he is going."

" Then why this pout?"

" Vo I was thinking, who will do with me, what he does with me every night. And I feel very good when he does that with me."

She said and Kajal's eyes went and she started coughing. Jeevika gave her water and asked,

" Are you ok Aunty?"

" I am ok. But you should not say something like this"

" What I said. I just wanted to watch a movie and cuddle. What is wrong with that?" She asked, getting confused.

" You were talking about a movie and cuddling. "

" Haa we watched a movie and cuddled every night. Why are you asking?"

Kajal facepalm and said,

" Then you should add a movie and cuddle in your sentence."

" Didn't I add?" She asked. Kajal nodded in no.

" Then what did you understand?"

" Nothing "

" Idea, will you watch a movie with me tonight? Please please."

Kajal smiled and nodded. After that they had dinner and Vidhyut left to meet Manager. After knowing that Abhimaan is on his way.
