chapter 8

Author's POV.

Once they are out of the doctor's cabin Jeevika goes to the vord her mother is admitted. Because treatment was going on they didn't allow her to go inside. So she kept standing outside and looking at her mother through the window.

After completing some formalities Vidhyut came and he looked at jeevika who was looking all broken. He was feeling helpless as he couldn't do anything. Two people whom he loves a lot are in problem and he can't do anything to take them away. But he has to be strong for his jeevika which he did. He took a deep breath and went to her and put his hand on her shoulder. She turn towards him her eyes are full of tears,

" Vidhyut Am I a bad girl?" She asked him innocently. He gulp the lump in his throat and spoke

" No baccha why are you thinking like that?"

" Then why is God doing this to me? He took my father when I was only two years old , still I never complained. Sacchi. But now he wants my maa. Why Am I that bad?"

He doesn't know how to answer her innocent question. He knows one thing that how much she tries to behave smart replies sarcastically but the kid inside her is still innocent and asks questions which anyone can't answer. He doesn't know how to answer her questions so he just hugged her.

She kept crying on his chest making his shirt wet with her tears. She was hugging him when the nurse came out. When Vidhyut saw this he broke a hug and asked about Radha's health.

" Sister, when will she get her consciousness?"

" Sir we are trying our best but it will take some time. Please wait. "

He nodded and looked at Jeevika who was looking down. He went to her and made her sit on a bench. And sat beside her.

" This is all my fault. If I would have listened to her nothing like this would have happened. Vidhyut please please tell her to get up. I will do everything she will tell me. Pakkka if she will tell me to get married I will. If she will say that I should not study. I won't study either. But please tell her to get up."

She kept speaking and blaming herself. At last Vidhyut shook her,

" Jeevika,  look at me. Nothing is your fault ok. You didn't know something like this would happen. She didn't tell you about her medical condition so you don't know so don't blame yourself."

He tries to make her understand. Having no strength inside her after crying a lot. She slept on her shoulder. After some time Vidhyut thought that she slept a lot. He woke her up and asked her to get fresh. She did as he told her.

Late afternoon Radha also regained consciousness. As soon as Jeevika comes to know she runs to meet her. She smiles and keeps her head in Radha's chest.

" Maa thank god you are up. Maa now I will do whatever you will tell me to do. But maa please don't do something like this again. I will listen to everything you say. But please don't leave me."

" Jeevi beta I am here, nothing happened to me, look." She said caressing her hair.

" Maa at least don't lie now. You were unconscious from morning to now, look , it's 2 o'clock now."

Vidhyut who was looking at everything from the door smiled at Jeevika's behavior and shook his head at her. She was crying her heart out before sometime and looking at her now she is scolding her mother.

Radha looked at him and gestured to him to come to her. She tries to set up a set-up in which Jeevika helps her.

" Thank you beta. If you were not with her then she would never be able to handle this all alone. Thank you so much beta."

" Radha Aunty, what I have done for you is nothing compared to what you have done for me. You took care of a child who was just two days old when her mother left him and his father got busy with business. You did what his mother even didn't do for him. Give him all motherly love fought with people who badmouthed him when he couldn't do it for himself. This is nothing in front of that."

She smiles at him and opens her arms so that he can hug her. Without wasting a time Vidhyut just hugged her.  This hug was very special for him as he is experiencing motherly love after  years.

Doctor came to check on her. When she is done Vidhyut asked,

" Mam there isn't any option. Can't we do anything? "

" Look Mr. Vidhyut,  there was an option of the operation which she already denied. Also now it's too late. But you have asked me so I have talked with a few doctors. They also said the same. But we found one solution. If we can send her to London. Then there is the possibility of her getting better. They have more advanced equipment, medicine and injection. They will help her with exercise and a strict diet. If because of that her heart gets stronger then we can operate on her. But that also depends on time and how her heart reacts to medicine. But it will take at least six months. And she has to stay there."

Vidhyut nodded at her and was about to say something but Radha spoke before,

" Doctor, you already know about my decision. Nighter I ready for operation nor am I going to London."

Jeevika looked at her mother with tears in her eyes as she knew she was doing all this for her. Before she could react or say something Vidhyut kept her hand on her shoulder and blinked his eyes. So Jeevika didn't say anything and kept quiet as she understands that he wants to handle the situation.  Both Doctor and Radha noticed this and smiled at each other.

" Mam, I will contact you some time." Vidhyut said.

" I suggest you make a decision by tonight. As she needs treatment as soon as possible. Also you don't have to worry about hospitals and other things. I will try my best to help you " the doctor said with an assuring smile.

" Don't worry Mam I will tell you in hour only"

She left after giving advice. As soon as she left jeevika spoke,

" Maa, why did you deny it? If you are doing this for me then let me tell you I won't use that money in studies. Because if they can't help you to get better. Then I also don't want it. Also don't worry if we need more money. I will work hard so that we can complete your treatment. Just don't deny "

She said in one breath. But  Vidhyut said something which made her.

" You don't have to worry Jeevika, I will take care of those things. "

He set in front of Radha and took her both the hands in hud and said,

" Radha Aunty you know I always wanted a mother like you. But I was not lucky enough to get one. But still never considered you less than mother. But destiny played its part and we got separated. but still always remember you and want to meet you.  After a years when we meet, situations are not in our fever. But there is a chance that I can get some love from you. Please don't take that chance. Please get treat. I will make sure everything is ok. "

" You know Vidhyut I always loved you like my child. Also if we would have not separated then I would have always loved you. But now the situation is different.  Jeevika is with me. I can't leave her here alone. "

" Don't you trust me I will take care of her. She will stay with me. I will take care of her studies as well. You are my only family, trust me."

" I trust you Vidhyut but I don't trust this society. If she stays without any relationship with any man then you know what happens. You are also a victim of this society. Though that is not directly but you know how they treat you. You know that was indirectly that was also one of the reasons. They don't know who your mother is and your father has already lost his wife.  They don't care how pure you are, they only care about relationships. Moreover there is no guarantee of my life. And I want to see her in safe hands. "

Vidhyut took deep breath and asked questions whose answer he already know,

" What do you want, Radha Aunty?"

" I want to see her married. I also want to see her in safe hands."

" If I get married to her then will you go to London for treatment?"

" you don't have to force yourself Vidhyut I will make her maa understand. I will also work hard for money. Don't worry "

Jeevika tried to look strong though now she needs someone. But she doesn't want to force Vidhyut into any forced relationship.

" We will talk later, Jeevika. Radha Aunty, you answer my question: "If we get married will you go."

Radha nodded her head. Jeevika grasped at her answer. Before she can protest further Vidhyut took her hand and said,

" Let's talk jeevika"

So here is the new update. I hope you like it.

Will he tell her how much she means to him? Will she accept him wholeheartedly?

Also what will happen after marriage when Vidhyut takes her to Rathore Mansion? Will she listen to Kajal's tunt of unlike Advika she will fire back in the first meeting ?
